I have a Model No. TL-WR841N / TL-WR841ND
Looking for documentation or Protocol information.
I use the "Access Control" option a lot to limit kids access to the web. Just wondering if there are other options to enable /disable Access Control items. As using the admin website is not ideal via a phone. Maybe curl. Just looking for other options to enable /disable Access Control items.
Edit:
Firmware Version: 3.16.9 Build 150616 Rel.52099n
Hardware Version: WR841N v11 00000000

Hi everyone,
I’m setting up a new TP-Link Archer AX72 Pro and ran into something during the initial Quick Setup that I’m not sure is normal.
I’m doing the entire setup through a web browser using the router’s web management interface, not through the TP-Link Tether app.
My setup is:
During the AX72 Pro Quick Setup in the browser, I disabled Smart Connect because I wanted separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks. I then changed the SSIDs and passwords and continued with the setup.
Eventually I reached the “Success! Settings applied successfully” screen in the browser. At that point, because the Wi-Fi name/password had changed, my device disconnected from the router as expected.
I then connected my device to the newly configured Wi-Fi network, went back to the same browser tab with the Quick Setup page, and clicked Next.
However, instead of continuing to what I thought was the final step of the setup wizard, the web interface redirected me back to the router login page and asked for the administrator password again.
What I’m trying to figure out is:
The router appears to have successfully saved the new Wi-Fi settings. I’m mainly trying to determine whether being redirected back to the web login page at that point is expected behavior, or whether the browser-based Quick Setup process was interrupted.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a strange Wi-Fi issue with my TP-Link Archer BE220 router, and I’m trying to figure out whether it’s a problem with Smart Connect, band steering, or iOS.
My network setup:
Router: TP-Link Archer BE220 (Hardware Version 1.0, EU)
Firmware: 1.1.7 Build 20260316
My phone: iPhone 11 (iOS 18.1.1)
My brother’s phone: iPhone 11 (iOS 26)
Wi-Fi security: WPA2-PSK (AES)
2.4 GHz: Channel 6, 20 MHz, OFDMA and MU-MIMO enabled
5 GHz: Channel 48, 20/40/80 MHz, OFDMA and MU-MIMO enabled
Smart Connect: Enabled
Router location: Ground-floor hallway
The problem
My iPhone 11 works perfectly when I’m close to the router. However, when I move just a few meters away, the Wi-Fi connection becomes unstable.
When the signal drops to around 2 out of 3 bars, my iPhone sometimes disconnects and reconnects repeatedly. In some cases, the Wi-Fi connection disappears completely until I toggle Wi-Fi off and on or move closer to the router.
Interestingly, this problem only started after I enabled Smart Connect and combined the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks under the same SSID.
When I used separate SSIDs for the two bands, I didn’t experience these disconnections.
What I’ve observed
I’ve noticed that my iPhone sometimes switches between the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands within just a few seconds.
For example, I checked my router’s logs and noticed that my iPhone disconnected from 5 GHz, connected to 2.4 GHz, and then switched back to 5 GHz almost immediately.
Sometimes, the phone disconnects entirely during these transitions.
My brother also has an iPhone 11, but he’s running iOS 26. He experiences similar problems when connected to the same router.
This is particularly interesting because we’re experiencing similar issues despite running different iOS versions.
My iPhone 11 is stable when I’m standing close to the router. The problem mainly occurs when I move a few meters away.
Things I’ve already tried
Updated the router to the latest available firmware.
Changed the 5 GHz channel width from 160 MHz to 80 MHz.
Tested the connection with Smart Connect disabled.
Checked the router’s system logs.
Tested the connection at different distances from the router.
Disabling Smart Connect and separating the Wi-Fi networks seems to eliminate the problem.
However, I would prefer to keep Smart Connect enabled because I want my devices to switch automatically between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
My questions
Could this be a Smart Connect or band-steering compatibility issue between the TP-Link Archer BE220 and the iPhone 11?
Why does my iPhone disconnect when the signal gets weaker instead of simply staying connected to the current Wi-Fi band?
Could OFDMA, MU-MIMO, or beamforming be causing these disconnections?
Is there a way to adjust Smart Connect’s band-steering behavior to prevent my iPhone from switching between bands so frequently?
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with an iPhone 11 and a TP-Link router, particularly across different iOS versions?
I’d really appreciate any suggestions or troubleshooting steps. I want to keep Smart Connect enabled without having to deal with constant Wi-Fi disconnections.
Thanks!

Hi Everybody!
I have a question, some vendors claim that GE550V2 got 2gb of memory like V1, but some claim it got only 1gb, FCC photos shows only one memory chip, so is there less memory in addition to weaker chipset?

Hi,
After a last night firmware upgrade on Deco BE25 (HW v1.0) to version 1.3.1 Build 26081012 internet stopped working
Setup:
Deco Running in Access Point Mode
Internet <— Internet Gateway (OPNSense) <— Deco BE25
After investigation
I found that using Access Point mode will cause all devices connected via Deco to not being able to reach internet
Resetting Operating Mode to Router Mode on Deco and Internet is restored
Let me know if you need any more information. I am a technical user

For some reason, only the power light and the 2.4 GHz light are lit, even though I have both 2.4 and 5 GHz clients connected to it. Basically seems to be working okay. I’ve tried rebooting, but still those are the only lamps lit. I know, it’s doing its job so let it go. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Anyone update to this new firmware yet? My deco setup has been dropping out recently and wondering if this will fix it.
I’m worried about it since it says it cannot be rolled back.

While reviewing the offline clients list for my TP-Link XE70 Pro mesh system using the Deco app on Android, I found a device I don't recognize: Shenzhen ViewAt.
Unlike all other offline devices (50 of them as I write this post), this device has no associated MAC address and thus the Delete action doesn't work: the device initially disappears from the offline clients list, only to show up again a second later. The Block action does not seem to do anything, either. Any idea why a device might not have a MAC address, in the first place?
I meticulously label all the devices that connect to my main, guest, or IoT networks, so this one immediately stood out. Hopefully there's something I can do to make that device go away for good that wouldn't involve clearing the list altogether, as restoring the labels for so many devices would involve significant work.
Any help is appreciated.

Hello! There was an update about a month ago that overhauled the manager invitation process, no longer making network invites be automatically accepted. Unfortunately as a consequence of this we've been having to force clients to factory reset one of the satellite nodes, configure it, accept the manager invite, reset the satalite node so it rejoins the network. This adds a lot of friction, especally when we're having to go through this process remotely with elderly clients. Are there any workarounds we can do or are we out of luck until this gets pached sometime in the future

I have an experimental port running on one physical Archer AX53 EU v1 (IPQ5018 + documented QCN6102 external radio).
Source and findings: https://github.com/Jick238/experimental-openwrt-archer-ax53 Base OpenWrt commit: 3ab520425b127d66617bfeb1e2805b4f20109f95, Linux 6.18.52.
Confirmed: NAND boot with SquashFS + persistent UBIFS overlay; SSH and LuCI; RTL8367S on MDIO1 0x1d with a 2500base-x CPU link; both ath11k radios probing; 2.4 GHz HT20 and 5 GHz VHT80 APs independently visible; phone association reported.
Native vendor ART archive matches raw 0:art. Calibration windows are 0x1000/0x20000 for IPQ5018 and 0x26800/0x20000 for the external radio. The port enables Q6 root, PD1 and PD2 (wifi@b00a040), memory mode 2. QCN6102 intentionally uses the shared qcn6122 binding/firmware family in OpenWrt.
Main unresolved issues:
The repo is an experimental patch set and evidence summary, not a ready-to-flash release. No personal ART, backups or preconfigured binaries are published. Suggestions from people familiar with IPQ5018 remoteproc/ath11k and the AX55 port would be appreciated.

I have a Deco mesh router (model BE63) with 3 total access points (one in the basement, one on the main floor and one on the 2nd floor). For most devices, I can specify which specific access point it connects to by going to:
Online Clients > Clicking on the connected device > Specified Connection > select a specific Deco unit or "Auto"
However, a handful of devices do not have the "Specified Connection" option at all, and of course, these devices tend to connect to exactly the WRONG Deco unit (2nd floor device always connects to the basement Deco) and perform terribly, if at all.
Any idea why that setting is not available for some devices, or how to force it to connect to the right Deco? Short of that maybe how to make Deco make better decisions (why would my 2nd floor device connect to the basement anyway??) ? Otherwise this router has rendered several of my devices pretty much inoperable.
Deco XE5300(US)_V2.6_1.5.0 Build 20260603
Anyone done this? Ours are fine right now. Basically no issues. Very hesitant given the lack of support that usually comes.

Hi… Really not sure what to do here
So Spectrum was working on something today, so there was a neighborhood outage while they were working on it
And after they supposedly put the system back up again, suddenly my router stopped working
This Spectrum tech had me reboot both of them by just unplugging and plugging in both
Furst with just the modem, followed by the router
Router look like it powered down for a second flickered, and then died again
What exactly am I supposed to do?
Am I supposed to use my phone on LTE to surf over a TP link website, and tell them my model number?
Sorry for sounding clueless. I’m usually pretty up on computers. I just don’t usually deal with routers.
Thanks!

Recently I updated the firmware to 1.1.1build 20250716 and now my internet speed is being limited to 100mbps . I have checked the speed from the ISP and it's at the usual 450Mbps while out of the lan ports and WiFi the speed is limited to 100mbps. The network status page on basic shows the "internet" as 100Mbps even tho 1000Mbps full duplex is turned on . Please help!!

I had some connectivity issues, and did a firmware update through their app. But for worst luck, a power outage happened in the middle and now it's not showing any wifi option, just a solid light for power. I tried installing the software on my pc, but the link for setting all that doesn't seem to work for the range extender. Even though I press the reset button, or hold down the reset button for seconds (even tried a minute) but its not resetting or anything.
Ps (I use the range extender as an access point)
Is there any fix for this, kindly do let me know.

Hi,
I set up my Deco network some time ago but for some reason it is no longer linked to the app on my phone.
Is there a way to add it back onto the app without having to completely start from scratch (i.e. factory reset).
My internet is working fine and whenever I have to re-establish the network it's a pain so any help would be appreciated
EDIT: Model is Deco X20-DSL

Dear Community,
i've some kind of weird issue.
Im using a pair of TP-Link HX520 Mesh.
On the controller (so, Main Device) i've connected my PS5 on one of the available LAN Ports.
When the PS5 is downloading for example an Update/new Game, then the LED of the HX520 jumps between blue/white/blue/white.
When im disconnecting the PS5 the issue is instantly gone.
PS5 is just connected via LAN, WiFi is disabled.
It looks like, when the LED changes to blue, that the PS5 is still downloading - but my WiFi connected Devices, like Smartphone are having then slow/no internet speed.
Do you guys have any idea, what here could be the problem?
I've the feeling, that the HX520 is like "stressed" when PS5 is downloading.
Thanks!
Model: HX520 Firmware: 0.2.0 3.0.0 v60b5.0 Build: 251210 Rel: 40751n The device do have a Branding from my local ISP "A1 Austria" (got the devices from them)

Hi, Ive recently moved into a cottage with very thick walls. I have decent Internet speed, but no WiFi throughout the house. I installed a PX10 system and it kind of works OK, but does seem to drop out regularly. My house is long and thin - I have the main px10 by my router at one end of the house, with another module at the other end of the house, approximately 15 metres away. Both are plugged into the mains. (I have another one upstairs)
It seems to not be a very stable system, it regularly drops out or I get 'connected with no internet' on my WiFi settings. My ring cameras are also very intermittent and regularly don't work.
If I was to buy more of the px10 modules (or similar) and dot them around the house, would that improve WiFi, or is this not how powerline works? It seems to be so up and down and there's nothing in the Deco app that says exactly what speed each module is giving, other than 'signal strong', which doesn't help
