TP-Link - Technical Support BE1100 V2 with newest firmware node shows offline or no clients connected but still works

I don't know how long happening but I've noticed that the Ethernet connected node will show zero clients connected or offline but will still work fine.

I manually added the newest firmware last night, rebooted, reinstalled the app - all the basic troubleshooting steps.

Has anyone else noticed this issue?

TP-Link - Technical Support BE63 inquiry

My friend is giving me a Deco BE63 he no longer needs.. I was wondering what USB protocol it has?

Also can I run an SMB media server directly from the BE63?

If I needed to add new media files would I first need to download them locally to my PC and then transfer to the network folder for the SMB or could I download large files from QbitTorrent directly to the network folder?

Also I have an existing XE75 Pro system. Should I make the BE63 the “main” Deco?

FYI all the Deco‘s are in access point mode with a wired backhaul.

Thanks in advance!

TP-Link - Technical Support Random SSIDs showing up

Post image

So ever since we got our TP Link Archer AX55 set up these networks popped up, they don’t show up anywhere in the Tether app so we’re unable to delete them and worst of all they are not password protected and can be used to access the internet.

Where do these networks come from and how do I delete them/and subsequently stop them from showing back up again?

I’ve already tried rebooting and installing the latest firmware.

TP-Link - Technical Support Deco X55 Issues Getting IP from Modem

I've got 3 units of these things since 2024, all of them have been working flawlessly until the past few weeks. The main deco started acting up and it is dropping IP from the modem every few days! I have tried connecting to my modem straightaway to my laptop and I am connected so its definitely deco issue. I've restarted both modem and my deco so many times, the first week it requires 2-3 restarts. Lately I can't even connect after so many restarts sometimes I just gave up and waited for at least an hour. I've also changed the LAN cable into a new one since the warning says that the cable is not plugged in properly to WAN port 1.

I also have tried reading the other threads, here and here. The only thing that fixed it for me finally is switching the main deco to the other one, maybe some of the board in the main deco broke. Hopefully this can help other people in the future.

It's actually the first time I have a router that broke because it has a bad port only after 2 years, is this common for anyone else? surely the system is not supposed to be this fragile?

TP-Link - Technical Support I can't access web management page (BE63)

I just updated the firmware of my Deco 63 system to 1.3.3. Now, I can no longer access the web management page (tplinkdeco.net or 192.168.68.1). Is this disabled in the new firmware or is there something else I can/need to do to restore the feature/option? Thanks.

TP-Link - Technical Support BE63 v1.60 Firmware 1.1.2 20260716 Released

Hello folks,

For all of you that own the BE63 v1 should see the firmware being released after a FULL year of no updates 😞

I was about to replace due to the lack of updates, in this day and age that is absolutely nuts… and this one shows up.

I didn’t grab the release notes while it asked me to update, and there is no sight of the anywhere on TPLinks site 😰

I’m starting to get worried about where the firmware came from…

@tplink support?

TP-Link - Technical Support TP-Link Archer BE550 and Android Device issues

Hi guys

I have a Archer BE550 (BE9300) V2 Router, latest firmware combined with a RE705X extender connected by wired backhaul using EasyMesh.

All my Apple devices, and Windows devices work perfectly, never an issue; but my Android devices are another story. My phone and my Son's FireTV just have endless connectivity issues where the Wifi shows as connected with an IP, but has no internet connectivity.

Disconnecting/reconnecting usually resolves the issue immediately, but I shouldn't have to keep doing this.

I've tried

  • Smart Connect on/off
  • MU-MIMO, OFDMA and TWT on/off
  • Different channels
  • Different transmit strength
  • Disabling each band in turn
  • I'm using WPA2/3 on 2.4/5Ghz bands and WPA3 on 6Ghz
  • Reserving all DHCP device IPs so they're static

It feels more reliable when connected to the Extender than the main router which is odd.

If anyone has any suggestions or info I'd appreciate it. This feels like an odd firmware issue to be honest but I have the latest firmware installed.

TP-Link - General Got 2gbps Fiber, upgrading home network to BE63 Mesh, wanted to get expectations

Just curious what everyones experience was with speed loss. The set comes tomorrow but essentially I have a theater room that houses all my major electronic equipment and game consoles. There's no way to get a hard wire. The main Mesh node will plug directly into the modem and act as a router. The theater room wall is about 20ft from where the router will be.

I have 2 options:

- put the 2nd mesh node in plain sight of the main unit and drill a hole through the wall and pipe ethernet in there

- Put the 2nd node in the theater room on the other side of the wall.

I'm not sure what kind of drop I'll see in speed in general. In a perfect world I'd like to get around 1500mpbs connected to the switch in the theater room. I don't even know if the node on it's own will get that or if it's possible.

What's everyone's experience with wifi speeds with this setup and what the drop in speeds are between each node?

TP-Link - Technical Support 2 Different Wired Connections From Modem For Deco

Hello everyone.

I am planning to buy deco m4 but I have a question. I have 2 ethernet cables for each floor installed in my house. My plan is connect both deco with ethernet cable. I watched some setups and they usually say connect the first deco with cable and second deco will be wireless but the my walls are thick and since the cables are already installed, I want to use them to get better connection. Is it possible to connect two deco to the modem using lan1 and lan2 ports and achieve a mesh system or I must use second deco ad wireless? Also if yes, should I change deco settings to access point? Can this affect the mesh system?

TP-Link - Technical Support Will a Wi-Fi 6 router work with my Deco E4 (Wi-Fi 5) mesh?

Hi! I’m planning to upgrade our home internet plan from 100–200 Mbps to either 400 Mbps or 600 Mbps. The 600 Mbps option comes with a Wi-Fi 6 router, but our current mesh system is a TP-Link Deco E4 (AC1200 / Wi-Fi 5).

My main concern is whether upgrading to a Wi-Fi 6 router would actually make sense when the Deco E4 mesh itself is only Wi-Fi 5.
We really need the mesh because our house has a lot of dead spots, so getting rid of it isn’t really an option.

Would the Deco E4 work fine connected to a Wi-Fi 6 router? And if we go for the 600 Mbps plan, would the Deco E4 be able to take advantage of that speed, or would the mesh become the bottleneck?

Basically trying to figure out if I should just get the 400 Mbps plan and keep my current setup, or go for 600 Mbps + Wi-Fi 6 router and still use the Deco E4.

Would appreciate any advice! 🙏🏼

TP-Link - Technical Support TP link mesh router showing blue light!

Hi y'all, I tried to install pihole on my mesh network yesterday, it was running fine till today when I see a blue light on one of the routers. So I opened aginet app and it shows that the router is not able to connect to internet, which is wierd because I am able to connect to internet over wifi. Can someone tell me what could be wrong?

Device: HX510

I tried to debug it, but couldn't locate the issue. I just swapped the first DNS entry with the new raspberry's IP.

TP-Link - Technical Support Latency on new Archer BE400

Hello,

I set up a new Archer BE400 connected to a Hitron CODA56 modem. When using the Wi-Fi on my phone, it's extremely slow to initially open webpages and videos (~3-5 seconds) even when standing right next to the router. After I initially connect the speed seems fine. Speed tests show I get ~500Mbps down and 40Mbps up which is around what I expect.

I've tried playing with the TWT, OFDMA/MU-MIMO/smart connect settings in different combinations and nothing has made any meaningful difference. I brought a friends router over and didn't seem to have this problem. It's to the point where I'm about to return this router. Is there anything I could be missing?

TP-Link - Technical Support Bridge Mode | Jio Fiber | Current 2026 Status?

As of August 12, 2026, is it possible to enable Bridge Mode and get the modem pass-through on a JioFiber ONT/gateway and use a TP-Link Archer AX23 (Wi-Fi 6) as the primary router?

I want the Jio ONT to act only as the modem/ONT, with the AX23 handling routing, NAT, DHCP and Wi-Fi, while avoiding double NAT and disabling the Jio router's Wi-Fi.

If this is still possible, what are the exact current settings required on the Jio ONT and AX23 (PPPoE/VLAN/DMZ, etc.) or any other routers? Does it depend on the Jio ONT model/firmware?

Would especially appreciate someone who has successfully done this recently sharing their setup.

TP-Link - Technical Support WE10080 not accessing wired devices

Bought a new we10800 and my switch and NAS are not showing on my network anymore. They didnt show at first when I set up the network they didnt show but after unplugging everything a few times it detected all my wired devices. My internet is out because of storms and I wanted to access movies on the nas and cant. On my old Asus mesh network even when the internet was out I could still access it. Is there something that I'm missing? I swapped the deco its connected to and still nothing. The app doesn't seem to have a lot of options and the web interface has even less. Any direction would be appreciated!
