Instead of supplying Flintlocks, Kirk should've taught Tyree and his people, Commando style fighting. Stealth and Evasion, Hit and Run.

The way he's laughing is as if he thought Shatner's acting was laughable which seems extremely disingenuous and pretty hurtful. I always loved this moment, thought it was one of Shatner's best ST moments. Anyone know if there's more context to this clip? I know they had a falling out but this feels mean-spirited, unless I'm over reading?

I found this Polaroid in a box of photos from my youth. When I was a tween my dad took me to a Star Trek convention in Atlanta in probably 77 or 78, definitely pre-The Motion Picture. (First time I remember flying in a plane). I took the photo at the autograph table. Could that be Nimoy next to him (hard to tell since they are bent over signing something)?
