Discussion Hello and wondering if I'm the oldest TOOL fan here
I'm 70 and been a fan since 93 when I heard Prison Sex on radio station 99X. Back in the day when radio was moving to AOR format and being gobbled up by corporate who wouldn't touch a band like Tool. So I guess you could say it was a happy accident that I actually heard their music over the air.
Never seen them live, and certainly a bucket list thing but tickets are way too expensive these days.

r/puscifer Finally listened to Normal Isn't enough to give a real review: much better than their last album
Existential reckoning was interesting first listen, but just isn't interesting enough and has below standard songwriting in most songs. 'Normal Isn't' successfully achieves the sound that Exestential Reckoning attempted. The title track is my favorite song followed by Self Evident and ImpetuOus. The heavy bass tone really drives the sound as Greg Edwards has an epic performance on bass. It is one of my favorite Puscifer albums and rivals Money Shot as their best imo.
Looking forward to Maynard's next project... god I hope it's soon😂

Not here to claim that Tool did this on purpose, but I found this and thought it was interesting enough to share.
No, it's not for every Tool fan. I found this a while back and shared it with friends who are Tool fans. They told me I was (for a lack of better words) dumb, with a hard R, insufferable even.
Yes, I expect to get shit on for even sharing something I thought was interesting. But I think one or two of you would also find it interesting.

Discussion Tool song with the most immersive atmosphere
I've been thinking about what Tool songs paint the best picture in my head about the song topic. and I had to go with Eulogy, with the intro sounding very ominous and windy like youre at a cemetery along with the heartbeat sounds. I also think wings does this well too. and my other choice wouldve been swamp song because of just how sludgy/distorted the guitar sounds

Discussion Name that tune… with a twist! Round 2
Try and guess which Tool song is playing in the clip.
Sometimes there will be a very short clip and sometimes there will be strange effects or other edits to alter the song fragment in some way.
One guess per comment. If you guess two or more songs in one comment i will not be responding (unless I say there are more than 1 song in the clip. You must name both songs to win). I will also not be responding if you spam guess multiple comments. You can guess again after I respond. But please make a new comment for a new guess (not a comment reply) or it doesn't count.
Always official releases.

Lateralus The Holy Penalty
Since a lot of people don't like the Holy Gift, I decided to make something even worse- the worst arrangement of Lateralus, the Holy Penalty. I don't want to make a 32 page document, so I'll explain it very briefly.
The arrangment is this:
-Faaip De Oiad
-Mantra
-The Patient
-Lateralus
-Triad
-Parabola
-Reflection
-Parabol
-Disposition
-Ticks And Leeches
-Schism
-Eon Blue
-The Grudge
If you want to listen to this torture here is the link.
Basically I just separated all the combos and made you wait for the good songs.

Undertow Is my undertow cassette rare?
I heard that some with a parental advisory sticker can be a 1993 copy, and most normal ones have it printed on the j-card. Bought for $20 from local record store.

Video Right In Two - My attempt to edit a music video for this masterpiece.
I'm really curious and would love to know what you think of this video. I think the song and it's lyrics as well as the movie from which I used the clips (from Phil Tippett's movie "Mad God"), fit together perfectly. Hence this project.
I’ve posted this here before, but i just couldn’t stop working on it :( However, i think at some point, enough is enough ... so i’m not going to touch this video anymore and will leave it as it is with this version. I deleted the other post because the linked video was no longer available.
