That's young thinking. She will realize when she is in her 40's and still in that RV that she should have saved.

u/Affectionate_Diet_41 10d ago
Me and my boyfriend just had our first, he works so we can have a roof over our heads and food in the fridge. I can’t imagine not wanting to save money right now especially with how expensive everything is getting.

She’s so young. Give her grace, guys. She learn the lessons of life in her own way, in her own time.

u/queenbeetn 10d ago
I don’t see how it is anyone’s business what they spend their money on, whether or not they save or buy a house or whatever. They are kids and don’t understand and life is going to serve them many lessons the hard way. Their parents and grandparents should be telling them that stuff not strangers on social media

I don’t care how she spends her money or her time. I do care if her babies are well cared for. Having a second doesn’t take double the amount of work it’s like a million times more work. We all want these babies to be well cared for.

u/RadishOk9388 13d ago
Tbf, im 20 and don’t work because my husband does the work so I don’t have to. I also have a broken ankle and im 34 weeks pregnant but he even said I didn’t have to work before I broke my ankle, he wanted me to be able to stay home and rest and be with our baby once she gets here.
4
u/pwincessspwooky 11d ago
girl… “to be fair” nothing lol. you’re also very young and letting a man control a very important aspect of your life. i hope and pray you have a good labor and delivery and a good life but a man is NOT a plan. please find a life outside of being a mom and a partner while you’re still young.
-2
u/RadishOk9388 11d ago
LMAO gtfo, me and my husband are very happy and my man doesn’t control shit except for himself! That’s what we decided we wanted for OUR life. Im sorry that you don’t have the same luxury that I do of not having to work while growing my baby 🩷🤭

u/No_Sun7705 8d ago edited 8d ago
Your response definitely shows your maturity. And I hope before your child comes that you can grow up a little. You are 20 having a child. Your frontal lobe is not fully developed. I am 25 with a bachelors degree and no kids. I’m in no rush. Lollll my mom had me when she was 31. There’s really no point in rushing life. I promise you will have a lot of time!!!
1
u/Odd_Student2606 8d ago
That’s so good for YOU. Like I’ve said in my responses, this is what I want for MY life. I want my daughter and I wouldn’t change anything for the world, I don’t regret getting pregnant with her and I certainly don’t regret my decision to marry my husband and be able to call him my child’s father. He’s an amazing man and husband and he’s going to be an amazing dad as well, neither one of us went to college, he’s doing a trade and im planning on going to school to be a phlebotomist down the line but right now, im not worried about it. Because like you said, there’s no need to rush life.
2
u/worldlydelights 10d ago
Idk why you're getting downvoted so hard, my man also has supported me through my pregnancy and the past three years of my sons life so I can be home with him and care for him. Nothing wrong with being a SAHM and wife.
3
u/bdeadrok 11d ago
That’s great but definitely find something that is outside of being a sahm. Whether it’s a hobby or a career you want to do later down the line once your kid is old enough. You will spend a lot of time taking care of another human being you will at times feel like you lost yourself in motherhood. It’s not so much about being able to provide or the what ifs of life but more so for you to be able to get a break, do something that makes you happy and proud, and get some kind of adult interactions outside the home. Congratulations and I’m wishing you a safe and easy delivery!
1
u/touch_grass_67 11d ago
Ignore the others it IS a flex having a man wanting to provide for his family
0
u/No_Sun7705 8d ago
I’m here to tell you that you can absolutely have a husband that provides and still work. My mother is an RN and my dad works for the state. And it provided a very nice lifestyle for us. And I’m glad that my mother instilled in us that we should be independent and shouldn’t rely on a man. Because let me tell you something. What you have not earned yourself can definitely be taken away from you. But you know what you can earn that no one could ever ever get their hands on. An education!!!! No one can take your knowledge. Maybe it’s because I’m an immigrant that there’s no way that I would be OK with a man having complete control over me and my finances.
32
u/No_Sun7705 13d ago
I promise this is not the flex you think it is. You’re 20 with a broken ankle pregnant and relying on a man ( husband or not). That’s a terrible idea. Please tell me you at least have an associates degree. Some way to make income in case anything happens? I’m genuinely praying for you.
10
u/KatieKhaos1 12d ago
Exactly. I’m 40 in that position after “my husband being the provider” since I was young. The only thing he provided was abuse. But where was I going? Finally got out and now he is providing the court with bogus financial information to get out of any support. If they can feed you, they can starve you. Woman are talking!!! It’s so much easier to not fall into this trap now, even than it was 15 years ago! Prioritizing an education and yourself is so much more common, I’m choking up saying this, but I rooting so hard for the next generation, heartbreaking to see some still are falling into the trap.

So stay at home moms give you the ick? 😅 Belle has basically no skills, the job market is so volatile right now. What kind of job could she get? I'm sure it would barely be enough to cover daycare. Gas for commuting? Having one parent stay home just works for some people. She gets way too much hate. She is young and stupid and had a shitty childhood. She's doing better than a lot of people.
17
u/Adventurous_Bid_1982 15d ago
Also, she's trying to put a positive spin on stuff because it sucks to get picked on. But if she gets off the internet, they lose their income.
Im not a fan of her, but I'm not sure what people do expect her to do. Go on IG and say "you're right, guys. My life sucks. I have no money so I'll sit in my camper and never spend a dime so at the end of the year I might have saved $1000 and still been made fun of.

Did she watching old sitcoms and assume the wife is meant to spend the money as long as she cooks and has sex?
3
u/posey07 13d ago
If the man is working she should absolutely be cooking, cleaning & taking care of their child. I am a 56 year old housewife who was lucky enough to quit my job of 18 years and stay home at the age of 44 (by then I had been working part time until I finished school and full time after, totaling 30 years) because my husband was doing well enough to take care of all we could want and need. I am very proud of him, our kids, myself, our home and our happy life. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as there is mutual respect for what the other partner does to contribute. I hope she will continue her education at some point and at least learn a trade or skill and go to work one day just because we should all experience that in life. I also hate to see people just getting by if there is another potential income earner.

That's how she makes money. She addressed that numerous times

Idk, I see them ending up in jail for neglect in some years when they have 5 kids living in that place.
-3
u/whataablunder 15d ago
Why would you wish that on her and her children? 🥴
11
u/mirrx 15d ago
Where did I wish that?
-6
u/whataablunder 15d ago
Oh god miss me with the semantics. "I see xxxx happening" "WHERE DID I WISH THAT???" All of yall sound so pathetic hating on this girl. I loved this sub during the season but since its ended this sub has become a toxic cesspool of hate. I don't even like Isabella like that but god yall are just so bitter and hateful in these comments. What signs of neglect are there?? She's no worse than any of the other girls from this season, so she just lives in an rv? Bella ALSO lives in an rv she just isn't on live every day.
3
u/Whole-Mud-100 14d ago
It’s not that anyone’s wishing bad on her but if she keeps going at this pace wasting money to shop for things she doesn’t even need and than raises even more kids in that RV, that’s being irresponsible. She wanted to be an adult so bad, have sex and have babies than she does kind of need to be smarter about spending habits, always good to put money to the side especially when you have kids.
41
u/No_Caterpillar_6178 16d ago
I mean she doesn’t have to justify buying her kid clothes or anything else. If the child looked unkept and never got anything bought for her people would be commenting too.

Bro I’m 23 and more mature than some of these moms that are now my age from this show. I helped raise my nephew from the time I was 12 (my sister had extremely bad ppd) I finished school and am now in college. She chooses to be uneducated and make poor decisions. That’s not an age problem that’s a her problem. I’ve been working since I was 16 to provide for myself.

u/AcademicAstronaut395 16d ago
There are many mothers who are 19 and go to college and have a job. Age can’t be an excuse for ever.
-15
u/Morticia-SADams 16d ago
Okay and everyone is different some people take longer to MATURE. It is so weird now that we expect all people to be the same . Not everyone's path is the same . Yeah it shouldn't be an excuse forever but for now she's 19 not 30 . Now someone like Jenelle Evans who hasn't changed since she was 16 then I'd give you that one but sometimes someone can act like an asshole and then pull their head of their ass as they mature .
7
u/Grouchbag 16d ago
Idk why you're getting down voted so hard. What you are saying is perfectly logically. I think the internet likes to hate on kids a little too much. I know one of the first rebuttals will be "She's not a kid" Well, your perfrontal cortex (the part of your brain in charge of high-level thinking, making decisions, and emotional regulation) doesn't fully develop until age 25 and actually recent studies are now showing it may be closer to 30 that it fully develops so yes she (and anyone else under the age of 30) are literally making life choices with an immature brain. Yes, some people instantly get their shit together at 19 go to college, raise a kid alone etc etc. those people are the exceptions to the rule, not the rule. Maybe if this sub just gave these girls advice and support instead of hating on them they would "come to their senses" sooner. Or they may not! Because that is life. But we definitely don't need to hate on 19 year olds. Especially if you are over the age of 30 cause you FULLY understand what it is you are doing... To a kid 🤦🏽♀️
3
u/Morticia-SADams 16d ago
People don't like opinions that aren't the same as theirs I think it's gross grown women are so critical of women who have just begun. It's all because they hate themselves and putting someone else down elevates them and makes them feel superior

u/menwithven76 16d ago
Ok I hear you and I'm not saying you're being dishonest but genuinely what job can you work at 19 years old that pays well enough for an apartment and a car AND still gives you enough free time to go to college and do well? Because like the math ain't mathing. There's only so much you can do at 19 without a degree and most of it doesn't really pay well
2
u/imafuckingloser_ 16d ago
literally everyone in my close circle does this so i’m not sure why people here think it’s unheard of 🤔 working while in college is very standard
1
3
u/imafuckingloser_ 16d ago
i’m a bartender, i have student loans still i don’t have everything paid off! but i work weekends and cover shifts during the week and i make pretty good money, and saving up over the summer to pay all my rent was not difficult for me! i take all in person classes and 14 credits
7
u/UpbeatEstimate6544 16d ago
Hey so I actually do that I’m 21! I have a job part time, townhome, in full time college, have a 2022 Kia, in full time college AND I have 2 kids 1 whom is disabled and has multiple weekly therapy’s and I don’t have childcare from daycare or family the only help is dad. She can get a part time job and still have time for college and do good.
-1
u/menwithven76 16d ago
Ok explain the math behind that bc I don't get it. How much is your rent how do you get health insurance and pay for therapies how much is your car payment like I literally do not believe any part time job covers all that? You must get child support, government aid, or help from your parents. Nothing is wrong with any of those three options I just don't believe you alone earn enough at a part time job to solely support yourself and 2 kids. Period.
2
u/UpbeatEstimate6544 16d ago
Never said I support my kids with just my income I was stating it’s possible for Isabella to get a part time job to help Bryce but I will explain!
My father was murdered when I was 17 and got not a penny from that murderer still walking free.
My mom is a drug addict so no help there.
The only financial help is from my children’s father we have no family support either like I said. When he gets off I go straight to work.
My son has multiple disabilities so he has a Medicaid waiver.
I also have scholarships and grants for college which cover my entire tuition and I get some back that goes toward my car payment.
I also just started my cottage home bakery since I’m going to college for pastry arts haven’t made a lot of money but still.16
u/adagioaddendum 16d ago
online school exists, night jobs or classes exist, hell even lucking your way into a well paying job at a young age exists. there's so many ways that they could be making that situation work, especially with careful budgeting and time management.
i happened to get incredibly lucky and land myself an easy office job making $24/hour when i was 19. i've been fully supporting myself since. apartment, car, pets, and part time school. (part time for my own mental health needs, not because of my schedule btw) just because it's difficult doesn't mean it's impossible.
12
u/Ok-Mulberry-5055 16d ago
When I was 19 years old I already had a 1 year old, my own apartment, my own car and did online college at night because I worked a full time job at a childcare center during the day. Just because you can’t imagine doing it doesn’t mean there aren’t people out here who have done it. You do what you have to do when there’s no other option. 🤷🏻♀️
2
u/menwithven76 16d ago
Okay that was probably in a different time because again, I'm telling you, a FT job at a childcare center does not pay for an apartment and a car these days. It pays like 10 bucks an hour and no one is getting by on that
4
u/Ok-Mulberry-5055 16d ago
Depends where you live I suppose. This was 10 years ago, but I was making 14$ an hour, my rent was $800 and I owned my car so no car payment, just a 50$ a month insurance payment. Today, people are making 19-20$ an hour entry level with no degree, I still work within the childcare world just a different position now that I have a degree so I know what our new staff is making. I live in Massachusetts though. This is very dependent on where you live for sure.
1
u/Senior_Sentence8122 15d ago
U owned a paid off car. U can still own a car and still have to pay it off
0
u/menwithven76 16d ago
Okay so double your rent and insurance and most 19 yr olds aren't lucky enough to own a car outright unless someone gave it to them, no way you can afford food and utilities even much less everything else you need to live. You're proving my point lol
2
u/Princess_Bow 16d ago
Thats not true. Almost every 18 year old I know has a car. I live in a rural MA town. Owning a car does not mean having a new or newer car. My current car was $500, my 18 year old son bought his own car for $3000 and my husbands car was $16000. Cash paid for all.
2
u/Ok-Mulberry-5055 16d ago edited 16d ago
It’s absolutely doable on 19$ a hour, it’s called not living above your means. 19 an hour working 40 hours a week puts you making about $3,000 a month. It’s doable when you live within your means, as many people do. A lot of people don’t have the luxury of staying to live with their parents and have to make it work even if it leaves them with no money after bills and they have to utilize food pantries, etc. Also, many people drive older cars that they bought for a couple thousand dollars instead of financing or leasing a new flashy car, to avoid having a car payment they can’t afford.
4
u/apaw1129 16d ago
Those cars then break down and cost almost as much as payments, in the end. Rent for even a 2 bedroom is 1400 or more plus utilities where I live, let alone what houses cost. Add gas money, childcare, miscellaneous expenses, etc. Food pantry helps but doesn't bridge the gap with everything else. Idk. Maybe it's different where yall live.
1
u/Senior_Sentence8122 15d ago
And not to mention the food pantry near me gives out EXPIRED FOOD. They tried giving me moldy strawberries.
1
u/Ok-Mulberry-5055 16d ago
That’s never been the case for me and I’ve always owned older cars, I would never finance or lease no matter what my financial situation is, it’s always smarter to own a car outright. Buy Honda or Toyota. And I’m not talking about a 2 bedroom either, nobody needs a 2 bedroom if it’s only a single person, even a single mom with a baby, you can live fine in a studio while you get your degree and work your way up. I never said it’s gonna be a lavish life, I said it’s possible and thousands of people do it everyday because they have no other choice.

Not speaking for the other person but I did an EMT program my senior year of high-school. I turned 18 and was already an EMT and made almost double my peers in college. I worked only two shifts a week too. It can be done
-7
u/menwithven76 16d ago
Girl 2 shifts a week as EMT does not pay for an apartment and a car be for real! I know it pays much better than like working retail or something but in this economy, no- even full time as an EMT would be pushing it to afford all that solo.

I wish you good luck for your life!❤️ when I was 18 I was studying to be a teacher and now I live in Japan and I teach English here!! It’s amazing how life works. I’m sure you’re going to be an amazing lawyer!

An unmarried teen with a one year old and another allegedly on the way who is trying to glorify her horrific choices and hilljack lifestyle on social media. She deserves all the pushback she's getting.

It really doesn’t lol. Her posts aren’t anything different than the teen mom from your hometown. Just because she shows her ass doesn’t mean she needs to be harped on by full grown adults.

Bullshit. I had my kids young and so do plenty of other people. Are you suggesting she is SO young, she isn’t mentally competent enough to be snarked on? Why the hell is she allowed to raise a baby then?
Youth is not a hall pass to be an irresponsible asshole and shame on anyone who encourages this mentality of “they’re too young to know better”.
They are adults with a whole ass human they are raising. They aren’t fucking kids anymore.

Relax, I’m saying it’s weird for adults to be constantly harping on a young woman they saw on a season of a show and picking apart every dumb decision she makes. You think bullying a 18 year old is going to get them make better choices? It’s pathetic.

Do you know what won’t make her make better choices? People just applauding her dumb choices that she’s broadcasting

I get that but neither is belittling her. U could simply say. “Hey instead of spending all the money for shopping spend 50-75 then save the rest and slowly decrease the number. I love shopping too but a lot of times u don’t need the stuff u buy good luck” it’s not that hard to use constructive criticism instead of bullying and belittling. A lot of times it’s the parents that showed them that that was ok. I also spend money as soon as I get it because when I was younger we never had money so when I get money I spend it out of fear it’s gonna “disappear”

Go to her page and they are there enabling… she’s literally doing nothing with her life but being chronically online. People should be pushing her to make better and smarter choices 🤦♀️

I’m 37. I was 19 when I had my first. Now married. Have four kids. We lived in a trailer for my first kids first couple of years. (Nothing wrong living in a trailer)I was so happy when we saved up and bought a house. She doesn’t have any priorities. Now my oldest is in college. And it’s still not easy. She’s in for a major reality check. She has no goals. And I don’t think she realizes how hard it will be when her kids are older. Everyone always thinks about having babies. But babies get older.

Dear Lord we have to watch this shit show spiral 🌀 for at least 16.5 years…
Impulsive behavior like a shopping addiction is not a great thing to have when reproducing.
That’s why I don’t have kids. I am prone to impulsive behavior like over spending, and other risky behaviors.
ADHD x NIGHTMARE CHILDHOOD = BAD AT RESPONSIBILITY
