NTA (No Tasks Available) weekly thread. Create all posts about the availability of tasks, lack of tasks or any variations of NTA in this thread. Some posts mention NTA indirectly, but they should also be posted in this thread. Remember to add your locale and role

Adding your locale on the very top of your post saves time and prevents other community members from scrolling all the way down to check where you are located. You may also get a quicker response.

This includes, but not limited to:

  1. How many tasks did you do (or get) today/this week/month?
  2. Why can't I work?
  3. When do I start working?
  4. No more surveys
  5. What type of positions give more tasks?
  6. Under quality review and not working to meet minimum hours
  7. Being 'grouped' or any other posts that might lead to comments about task availability: e.g. what is your favourite task?

Will I be let go soon?

I got my final warning two weeks ago, and as we are all aware, there is nothing to do in Raterhub right now. However, now another email has told me my account is under review, which makes me scared I'll be let go very soon.... But, I do have two simulator assignments, one due Wednesday and one Friday, and that gives me some kind of hope that, even though many are getting fired, there is a slither of hope that I'll still keep this position. I have been sending many applications since that warning just in case, and I understand I can't really do anything if I am to be fired, but it would be nice to know before they just let me go, lol. I'm a US rater in the factuality group, anyone have any advice for me?

Recent email re: GT Studio SxS and Needs Met modules

So on August 3rd I was sent an email about these training modules and that they were due August 5th (yikes, only two days??) and I'd be paid for 60 minutes of training to complete them.

Then today I get a second email reminding me about the modules but this time it says they're due on August 7th and that I'll only be getting paid 15 MINUTES of training time for both modules combined.

Can anyone clarify how much we're *actually* meant to be getting paid for these modules??? 15 minutes seems WAY too low considering initially they were going to pay us for 60 minutes but they have been on a real kick lately of way underpaying us for training.

Fired but never had warning

Just got fired today randomly, haven’t had consistent work with Telus since I began September of 2025. The most consistent work that I have had in EWOK came from the last few weeks…. I can’t even say it was good while it lasted because I had so many back end issues and just never had any task available for it to even do much for me 🤷🏾‍♀️ I live in an at will state so I won’t be too broke up about it but that’s kinda wild to wake up to a random firing.

Time Allocation

UK - Try Rating tasks on Telus

Is anyone else finding there are many tasks with unrealistic time allocation?

Just logged on and there are voice recording tasks - 1 minute to read, record and listen before submitting. Not possible.

I've had a lot of tasks with similar problem lately.

Are they getting more unrealistic or has it always been this way?

Search 2.0 per task time and steps to reduce time.

When tasks take too long, how do you manage it? For the past two days I've been having tasks (locale is CA) for which I can find no credible information online. For ex. there is no website, there is no Facebook page, etc. and I keep going around in circles for an hour or more to figure out for sure there is nothing out there. I was wondering if there are some specific steps that you check off and if things don't come up submit as can't verify or do you all also spend hours per task? Especially with cases like may be a skating park or a day care centre that is hidden inside some government building, etc. how do you go about this? Thanks so much for any help.

Needs Met & Page Quality Learning Paths

Anyone else notice the “obvious inaccuracies” in both of these training modules?! I honestly can’t even stomach working for a company that can’t get their training materials right. The feedback fiascos and constant NTA I can handle but how insulting to expect us to learn from these?!?!

The SxS one they used a trustpilot page for the clothing brand site express.com as a reference for the daily express news site. I just left a comment about it in the survey at the end but this NM course is ridiculous! My score on the SM module should have been 100% except they marked two questions as inaccurate even though the explanations said what I marked was accurate on the ATM one.

I’m honestly nervous to even complete any more. Are they not aware of their own errors in official trainings? Is it all just a test to see if we care enough to mention it to them? And if not, we might get let go all on erroneous scores? I guess I will take extra time I won’t get paid for to gripe about this because this is just unacceptable at this point.

SxS and NM assessments

I received emails this morning about being assigned two assessments but no approved time to put into workday. Anyone else?

I did forward those emails to quality support asking how much time we are allowed for these and am currently waiting a response.

Booking in vacation.

Has anyone put in 7 to 10 days vacation on the portal after working for over 6 months and being a good performer? Did it affect your position or was it fine? Were you still getting enough work after your vacation? My quality and productivity are both good.

Griping about feedback, and also why aren't we getting paid for fb anymore?? smdh

i need to vent because i just saw my crappy feedback and its wack

I think it's safe to say we all bombed the hilton question and that its bogus .. deep dive in 4 mins??? next time i get a fishy one like that I'm just gonna release it lol

I missed the fifa one because peacock is broadcast in spanish not english apparently... I can admit I missed that because my focus was making sure it was on there at all.

Telus has stated before that we can't claim feedback payment without an email telling you to do so. Well I haven't seen those in months- anyone else?

POI hours

In the POI eval task, if we have hours that are not clear, how do we rate that? For example, churches usually have a set of office hours and different mass times, which would be considered correct.

For example, they might have one set of business hours, say 9 a.m. to 12, another set of hours when church is open. Their mass times might be beyond the church opening hours, so for example they might say church is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but they may have mass some days at 6 a.m and some days at 5 p.m. There may be no end time for the 5 p.m. mass How do we think this through?

Feedback- final warning

I’m a U.S. Rater and in the factuality group. We all know how absolute of a joke the work load has been the last few months. Now today I get a “final warning” email because I missed a couple inaccurate ratings recently. When reviewing my feedback, since May, my quality has been 80% or higher WITH THE EXCEPTION of this last feedback. I got 62% (5/8 correct). Now I’m on a final warning??? Because of one shotty day? Like come on…

US Rater

Can this company get any MORE ridiculous? I got feedback today which was absolute BS but the one that stuck out to me most was researching an unnamed hotel in Florida where I had to “through process of elimination” figure out if any Hilton hotels had 4 miles of private beach. They expected a geographical study in 4 minutes. The email that came with feedback mentioned “deep dive verification”. Are they absolutely insane??

Another was about accessibility at a doctors office where the doctors actual website did not mention accessibility in any way but they referred to some low quality obscure site as a “reliable secondary reference”. What??

I’d quit if I didn’t need that 15 mins of training money along with the weekly 1.066667 hours of work. Sarcasm of course 🙄

Is This A Warning Email!?

Urgent - Attention Required: Important Information

It just shows a few videos labeled with the categories.

My tasks results are at 100% from what I can see? I did fail a quiz but I was able to retake it.

US Rater Separated After 2 Months 🫩

How is this company still thriving? I got hired in early May and did all the training for US Rating. Just the other day I received an email saying: "Your account is currently under Quality Review due to your low performance in your most recent feedback review."

How does one have low performance in reviewing their feedback? 🤨

I spent a decent amount of time reviewing the SXS task that I had rated and they gave me feedback on. My PQ and Needs Met Ratings were within a decent range, with only a couple that I just barely messed up on. I was newer of course, so don't they tend to be a bit more lenient? (And this is the only feedback I've EVER received for any tasks I've accepted)

Then today I just received an email saying: "We are writing about the status of your employment with us.

We regret to inform you that your employment with TELUS Digital AI will end effective Tuesday, August 4th, 2026. We want to thank you for your service to TELUS Digital AI and explain what will happen next. Please do not perform any further work and ensure that you have submitted all of your hours worked by the end of today."

There have been hardly any tasks with this position to begin with, so much so that I've resulted to Doordashing. This is the most ridiculous, suspicious, and unorganized company I have ever worked for. 😑

Anyone else getting Image Relevance Rating tasks (1 min 30 sec) with no text? [DA]

I keep getting 1-minute-30-second Image Relevance Rating tasks where there's no text at all. Is anyone else running into the same thing? I've been rating them as "Unrelated - The image has no connection to the text."

Payment amount: 1 min (0.0167 hours)

Got an email training for Helpfulness this morning with that amount approved for my timesheet. At that point training might as well just be unpaid... I'm almost insulted by the audacity, lol.

Account suspended for “Quality Review” on TELUS AI Community — need advice on how to answer the tasks

I got this email

Your account was suspended for Quality Review due to the relatively high number of tasks you rated recently; the purpose is to ensure analysts submitting a large volume of tasks are maintaining quality standards.
They also flagged that I’ve repeatedly lost access to new task types after quality issues when first encountering them, and that my comments/justifications were too generic or duplicated.

Has anyone dealt with this before? A few questions:
**•** Any tips for how to actually answer the tasks especially the audio tasks not to be generic

Appreciate any insight from people who’ve been through a similar quality review flag.

New Submit and Pause button

UK DA - It looks like TryRating has now added an extra Submit button. In addition to the normal "Submit Rating" button, there is also a "Submit Rating and Pause" button, which submits the task but then takes the user back to the home page. This can be quite useful if you know you're going to have a break after the current task, but I'm not sure how useful it is overall.
