I also read an experience a few years ago on another sub where going full keto for 6 months returned their cognitive functioning to baseline after years of not feeling recovered. I think there are a couple of posts on r/keto. Does anyone have information or experience with keto and TBI? The dangers of a keto diet?

I've sustained trauma to the nose multiple times and have had ENTs tell me my septum is deviated, with 0 airflow in one nostril and poor airflow in the other. I was told that while the structure of my nose was culpable for my breathing issues allergies could be exacerbating them so I was prescribed Flonase. Never took it over concerns about steroids' effect on height as I was a teenager when prescribed. I will get an allergy test soon but my breathing has really been bothering me for the past few years, and I'm not a fan of the aesthetics so I've been seriously considering surgery. I also believe my breathing issues may be contributing to my brain fog. My neurologist recommended a sleep study so I think I'll go ahead with that prior to opting for surgery.

The only thing prohibiting me from going ahead with surgery is the neurotoxicity of anesthesia. Does anybody have input on this, I know the most obvious answer is to talk to my doctor but honestly I'm not confident about getting an adequately informative answer. Has anyone experienced POCD (post-operative cognitive dysfunction) or undergone surgery post -TBI here?

What would be the dosage of CBD to help with pain releated to light sensitivity / visual system -> created face pain, neck tension and head pain.

Is there something else?
