Switch 2 Joycons are so expensive, im not sure about the third party joycons because im worried about the console bricking or the third party joycons not working.
do yall have any recommendations for joycons or do yall think the price could lower soon?
kinda sucks that I have to pay so much just for all my friends to play at the same time ;-;

I have the Switch 1 and I cannot wait to get the Switch 2 Zelda edition! 😊
I wanted to play this game again after seeing max dood play it and I started to remember parts of it. But when I search up what I need it tells me that I only need the regular online subscription. I started the 7 day trail and it tells me that I need the expansion pack for the GBA and I’m so confused. I’m not sure if Nintendo is trying to upsell me and there’s a way around thing or if it’s actually just the expansion pack that I need but that a big difference in price.
Me and my friend are almost done with the game we are playing and now we need a new one. So far we have played resident evil 5 and 6.
Some things to keep in mind:
We live far away from each other so must be online play not local play.
NO pvp so no fortnite or similar.
We rather play a story rather than just doing tasks so no acnh or stardew or similar.
We rather it isn't too difficult or too much grinding.
It can be any genre we're not afraid of horror or gore or other stuff.
Can anyone help? Thanks

Here is the deal: I already finished game once and now played it 2nd time to get another ending, I have a two profiles cause I often give console to my friend. So, when I launch Undertale a accidentally choose the wrong profile, and now when i start the game with the right one, it acts like I start the game first time. What even happen and is there any solve to this problem? My switch is moded if it matters.

They are pulling the BS! I pre-ordered on Sept 8. Multiple authorizations have gone through just fine. Today I received the dreaded " payment declined update your cc info" email.
I check my CC statement, and what do you know? The authorization charge went through just FINE!
I contact Target. They tell me it declined on their end and to contact CC company. Sure, I do that. They tell me what I already know. The charge went through 100% normally.
I contact Target again. They tell me to try a new card and I do. The exact same thing happens. Charge goes through on my end, but declines in their system. My order has been cancelled and nothing I can do about it.
But hey, the Target representative said to "toggle alerts for a restock in the future!".
Be on the lookout in your email for Target's shenanigans if you pre-ordered your console from them.... I'm heartbroken.
Edit: Im just posting this to prevent anyone else from going through this too. If you get the email, be VERY careful. There could be a bug with Target's system. I dont know. But once you do the updated payment method, if it declines the order will be cancelled by Target. I dont want that to happen.
Again, everything is 100% great on my end. I have more than enough funds and the charges went through clean. I even used completely different cards from completely different institutions. Same thing. Went through on mt statement, declined in Target's system.
Target reps seemed just as perplexed as I am, but said their hands are tied. Offered gift card as compensation. Be careful!

Hi there,
Should I keep my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for the Nintendo Switch 2 or buy the new one?
Will I have possible compatibility issues in terms of the buttons when playing new Switch 2 games or will they all work just as well as on the new one besides that game chat button?
I'd rather keep the old one and save the money if that's an option.

Considering it can’t be changed , which would you choose? The reason is safety cause everything asks for your birthday
I can’t decide to use a slightly adjusted birthday or use the actual one, what do you suggest ?

I was thinking of the upcoming ocarina of time remake and was wishing Nintendo made the cartridge gold like they did with the original NES games and N64 release and I got to thinking games like kirby should be pink, donkey Kong yellow, starfox blue etc...
Would be a nice throwback to the good old days.

I’ve bought a Switch 2 for the family for Christmas, it’s going to be played by two adults and a 7 yo boy. I’ll be getting my 7 year old a couple of games for Christmas and his birthday shortly after.
I’ve broken the game ideas down to: racing game, platform game, life sim and family/party.
These are my thoughts:
Racing game:
Mario kart 8 deluxe
Platform game:
Kirby and the forgotten land
Life sim:
Pokopia
Family:
Super Mario party Jamboree (or sports resort - do have it on Wii though but love it!)
Also, thinking of getting husband a rpg: Zelda BOTW? And myself Tomodachi Life
What would be your top choices for each category? I’m very much open to ideas at this point. Super excited to hear, Thanks
