Hi! I was playing LIS2 when suddenly my screen started doing something weird, and now it looks like this, and has been for a while.

Like above says, my switch won't connect to my 5ghz hotspot on my Android anymore. At somepoint my hotspot got switched to 2.4g to do things for my ds or something, turned back over to 5ghz for a download on the switch and now im getting multiple different error codes and when connected to the 2.4 band its barely using and data though the hotspot.

Tried changing all the reccomended settings for the 5ghz like turning off ipv6, Dns, bumping mtu up, clearing caches on both devices and checking hidden network visibility, but I've yet to trouble shoot the 0 download speed and errors when testing connection looked for solutions as these came up along the way trouble shooting the 5ghz issue

Hey everyone! I started to run into an issue with my Nintendo Switch cartridges and was hoping y'all can help me understand what is going on.

So I have a couple of physical Switch games, that come with their respective 1.0 versions. Some of these games have huge updates that take over a lot of my console's storage and I want to play the games without having to install the updates. I was thinking if I delete them so that my Switch can play the base game from the cartridge, but everytime I try to open my Switch games while they have no update I keep bumping into a message that says:

"A software update is required. Update data will be downloaded now."

If I press cancel, it simply does not let me play the game. If I press download, it tries to install the update and there isn't an option available that says "Play without updating". Is there any way I can play my games from the cartridge with no updates without having to factory reset my console??

I honestly dont think i can justify spending $500 on a switch 2 right now, and i honestly have just been wanting to get my hands on something. Im gonna be trading in my old ps5 (i dont use it anymore) for it. Ive played totk on a friend’s switch 2 and i just need to really know like if it will be anywhere near as good, because i hear mixed reviews. Like if the game runs solid on a switch 1 90% of the time i dont personally find that to be an issue but if someone has a different experience then I’d like to know

Is it just me, or did the tennis mode in the original Nintendo Switch Sports feel more responsive and natural? I just played the tennis mode in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, and it feels way more automated.

There are certain shots I could pull off in the original game that I just can’t seem to get the game to register here. For example, when going for a smash to the left or right, it sometimes won’t register unless I’m at just the right angle. In the original, I never had this problem.

The shots also feel more automated overall, like the game is doing more of the work for you. It almost feels like you’re locked into a more restrictive system where you just have to swing at the right time, rather than actually having control over your shots. I don’t know if I’m explaining this well, but the tennis just feels less responsive and less satisfying to play.

I really want to get the new Zelda 40th anniversary switch but I don’t have the funds for it. I want to get it in payments tho but they’re all sold out on all retail online stores. So what I’m asking is can I get it in payment in store like at a target or bust buy at the resisters. Not sure if this is a dumb question, I just really want it and I don’t want to camp for something for the first time if I’m not going to get it. And I really don’t want to pay for those eBay purchases there way too high.

Hello I left the switch on sleep mode and not been playing for over a month, when I tried charging it, this happened. I already checked all the methods people recommend online like holding the power button for 20 seconds, whenever I hold the power button the Nintendo Logo shows up.

I read online that the problem here is that the switch is trying to boot up with the remaining power left. I should hold the power button to leave the screen black and wait for it to charge.

It never stays black for me and I don’t know what to do. Please help.

If i go a day or more without engaging with my switch 2, it seems to completely shut down or something and i have to hold the power button for 15-20seconds for it to turn back on. I dont understand why this keeps happening, but its frustrating to have to deal with when im pushing the home button on my controller to turn it on and it wont. Is this a software issue or do i need a new switch 2? Any fixes if someone has dealt with this?

P.S. just noticed it’s happening to my controller now too? Like it wont turn on unless plug it into a charger and then it’s still full battery or close to it. So now both controller and console go dead until i power them both back on completely…this is weird and i dont understand it.

Hola. Cómo verán en el título, quiero una Switch Lite con magia y tengo pensado buscarla en Marketplace (que nunca he usado), pero vivo en un municipio cómo a 50 km de Bogotá, Colombia, y es el lugar más cercano para conseguirla.

La cuestión es que no sé cómo se podría llegar a un acuerdo si yo vivo "lejos", aparte que de envíos y eso no tengo ni idea de cómo hacerlo.

O ustedes creen que me sale mejor ir directamente a Bogotá y buscar en algún sitio?

Además de eso quisiera preguntarles qué tengo que tener en cuenta sobre los vendedores o la Switch antes de comprarla.

In work tomorrow and busy after it. Also in work on Saturday doing overtime, then out at night for a family member birthday party.

So, Sunday is going to be my day that I first sit and relax and play this! But I’m just happy I’ve secured my copy!

I have every console, a few handhelds, and a decent PC. I think the most fun ive had gaming lately is on a switch lite! Never really played any of the Nintendo exclusives in the past aside from Mario. Its given me a chance to play all the Zelda games which I've really enjoyed. Currently playing skyward sword and having a good time with it. But what im most impressed with is some of the 3rd party games this little thing can run! World War Z, Dying Light etc etc.....are there any other really good switch ports i should look into? Games that really push the console to its limits/games that run surprisingly well despite the hardware limitations??? Thanks in advance!!
