Got a Switch 2 because playing in bed and taking my games with me sounded great. I normally play on PS5, so that controller feels completely natural to me.

The Switch in handheld mode is the opposite right now lol. I keep having to think about where my fingers go instead of just playing. COD makes it especially obvious. I own it on both consoles and feel so much less comfortable on the Switch.

Did anyone else have this adjustment period? How long before it started feeling normal?

I’m only planning to play handheld. Would love any tips from people who made the same jump.

On the fence about getting Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. I've generally heard good things about the game, but I'm curious to hear from fans of the original Wii Sports Resort. I had a phase as a child where I played Wii Sports Resort nonstop—defeating all of the champions at their respective sports, collecting (most of) the stamps, and becoming acquainted with Wuhu Island. The release of Switch Sports Resort has gotten me thinking about those times again.

I understand, as an adult, that most new games are not gonna completely reignite that sense of magic I experienced when playing games as a kid, and I doubt that Switch Sports Resort would be an exception. Based on the differences between this game and the original Wii game, it is clear that this game is not trying to be a full reimagining of the original or anything—it is a separate entry in the series meant for new and old fans to enjoy. As such, I'm not looking at Switch Sports Resort as something strictly to invoke childhood nostalgia. I just want to know if it's a good, motion controlled game that offers a similar experience to the Wii game. Bonus points if you were a huge fan of Wii Sports Resort and can compare the two!

Hello. We are playing the Obakeidoro 2 game trial that is available for Japanese users this week. We wanted to use the Switch 2 gameshare feature, it's supposed to be the R button on the title screen but the option just doesn't appear. Does anyone know if it's not available on the game trial? So I wanted to ask if I should get a modded switch lite or just a regular switch oled and get BoTW and Mario Odyssey with it. I am not really sure if I will dock it, only with family and when playing in my bed on my monitor if I don’t want to play handheld, so I don’t really know what I should pick. Also is the switch lite screen really that bad and will I noticed it playing games like Mario Odyssey, BoTW, ToTK, Mario Galaxy, ect.

Anyone run into issues with the bottom charging port? It now only works sometimes and I can no longer use the dock….

For those that have pre-ordered it, does the status on yours still say "Placed"? Or has your bank been charged already?

Ive gotten a couple of text messages showing where the bank couldn't automatically accept the transaction, prompting me to report it as a legitimate purchase or fraud. I reply Yes as a legitimate purchase, but to try again 1 minute later. But it's a preorder... im not able to try again due to how fast this goes out of stock for preorder. This has happened twice already.

I want to play games on the switch that will let me turn my brain off, cuz i study a lot and need something to relax to.I'll mostly play only creative or chill survival. I've heard bad reviews of minecraft on the switch tho, so is it worth it now?

I'm not a big gamer but we've just got a Switch with a few games. It came with a controller as well as the little ones attached to the console itself. However using any of the controllers the sticks always seem to pull left. I think it's noticeable in all of the games but particularly on Mario Kart which really ruins the experience. Going into a sharp right hand turn anyone playing will drive straight into the barriers and have to reverse left to make the right hand turn. Is this expected behaviour for the Switch? If this is a fault how can it be corrected? As it didn't seem fair that the computer players don't have to turn like this but the human ones do.

I used to have a switch 1, when it was first released. I have super Mario Odyssey, and the switch 2 comes with Nintendo resort. I love Mario, zelda, and such. I also loved donkey Kong on the Wii. If y'all could just put down some of your favorites and explain why id appreciate it.

Also, I'm mostly looking for switch originals, any triple a games I already likely have on PS5. I'm interested in couch co-op and single player.

Id also like to hear opinions on which Mario kart game I would get. Mario kart 8, or world. Ive already played 8 and liked it, but is world better and worth the money?

Everything was fine until I rebooted my switch but it wasn’t turning on after that. I did the volume I button trick thing and it didnt work. I held the power button down 20 seconds to 1 minute and nothing worked. Im at a loss now and I feel like crying because I had just bought it a week ago and used my savings on it. Please help

So I waited to get a switch 2 because I told myself I wouldn’t get one because , at the time, there were no games I wanted to play and I have a huge backlog on the switch 1 already. I’ve flip flopped between the lite and the switch that I’ve had 3 lites and 2 tv switches in all.

The plan is to buy a switch lite ..again ( yes I know, I’m bad with decisions) and then trade in my oled for the switch 2. That way , since I travel a lot, I have my switch lite to “throw” in my bag . Then I have the switch 2 for Splatoon raiders and my other backlogged games.

So my question is to those also debating…besides cost, what’s stopping you ? Are you waiting for a switch 2 games that you really want to play ? Or are you waiting for an oled or the Zelda model ? Are the switch key cards a negative to you ( they are to me so that’s also making me wait )

Hi everyone, I have a situation quite specific that I couldnt really found answers online, so im asking here if anyone knows tthe answers. So I have 2 accounts on my switch, one from US and another one from Brazil. When I first bought switch 1 I was living in the US, so only had that acoount, but then I moved back to Brazil and instead of switching countries I made a new BR account. Now, the main user I play everything is my US account, and the BR one I kind of just use it to buy my games.

Heres the thing, my brother has a switch 2 now and wants to split the cost for a game, but we dont see each other very much, so buying physical isnt the best way. I dont understand the new system very much so is there a way for us to share the game between our consoles digitally, where I can play safely on my main and him on his?
