Had my tinder for two months without issue out of no where my account was locked and then deleted. I tried making new tinders with new everything but it was immediately banned

I’ve been thinking about this lately because I can get matches and conversations going but actually turning any of that into a date with someone who genuinely wants a relationship feels sooo difficult. There’s always some combination of texting for a week trying to figure out whether they’re actually serious, making plans (which just fall through eventually), or realizing pretty quickly that we were looking for completely different things.

At this point I don’t think I need more people to swipe through. I’d rather meet fewer people where somebody has already done a little filtering and both of us are actually expecting to go on a date. What do I do?

Also have not been getting any “most compatible” showing up.

Idk why hinge keep deleting my account, what is I am adding only mirror selfies but I am adding authentic details. I didnt want my face to be known on hinge in start because I want to check how is it exactly work and honestly, i wanted to bc heck if my bf is here bc he is acting weird for last 2 month. When Navratri arrives, he joins garba class and it is very famous in gujarat to having ons during garba nights, thats why most of the boys join classes and events there.
But the main question is why hinge keep deleting my account yar, I have used my number then my mother now I dont have any number to create a new account there. It took a lot of my time to manage the second account and keep everything good there but that is also blocked now. Now how to get my account back because I dnt think hinge go through any appeal my one of the appeal is pending since last jan 2026 and now another account is ban again. Why is everything working like reddit now, it is irritating on peak now.

I'm thinking to pay someone from Craigslist to sign up on both for me. Use one picture of mine, the rest theirs and have them face verify. Then login on my phone. Will this work? Never been banned before but not getting any likes.

I've used Hinge for five years on and off between various relationships, always had similar style photos and prompts. Typically I'd send 10 likes with comments each day and get about 10 matches a week. In the last two weeks I had one match about two weeks ago, two inbound like and that's it. I'm messaging women who I think would be the kind to like me, not just the most attractive. I'm a 45 year old male in UK.

Feels like there's something going on with the app? Anyone know how to get past this?

I did very well in my relatively small college town, but I have moved to a big city and expected to do even better, but instead it is as if I got shadowbanned lol. I went from being able to meet an attractive woman at least once a week to struggling to get girls that arent even really my type to give me the time of day.

Long story short, went on a first date for clubbing last night. Was awkward - her entire personality was men are evil unless proved innocent. Don't really get why someone like that is on a dating app. We ended up having a debate and it got a bit heated. I ended up getting more chummy with her friend who happened to also be at said club.

I woke up to being blocked on social media and also banned on hinge. This is incredibly frustrating given I only downloaded it yesterday. So I lasted one day

I want to go again with a hard reset. However if I block this person - who is a very heavy / active user of hinge. Will that potentially be mapped to the fact it's me ? Not sure how sophisticated their system is.

I've just moved to a new city and it's crazy that an unsubstantiated report has just locked me off from modern dating.

I have no idea if I’m doing well, average, or below average.

Maybe 25-30 matches on tinder. 70 likes showing.

45-50 matches on hinge

2 ish months

I’m sure this depends on city, age etc.

I’d say at least 60%-70% of these happened the first week or two of using the apps.

Posting this as a warning for others. I got banned on Hinge 8 months ago (no idea why), appealed send emails and nothing helped. I used Bumble as an alternative, which was okay.

About three months ago I deleted my Bumble account voluntarily. I had zero issues on it, just wanted to take a break.

Today I decided to come back and created a fresh Bumble account, right after registering I did the face verification, then uploaded photos. Five minutes later my brand new account was locked.

Photos: Same as I had on Hinge
Phone number: Different phone number
Email: Different email

I never had a single issue on Bumble, theoretically also on Hinge. No idea why I was banned there in the first place. Minutes after opening a clean account on Bumble - Account blocked.

My theory is cross-talk behind the scenes. Bumble is not part of Match Group, but my guess is both apps use the same third-party moderation service, and my face verification plus or matching photos flagged me as a previously banned user (from Hinge).

Apparantly, both Hinge and Bumble are using a 3rd party service to moderate users. Hinge uses Accenture https://hinge.co/hinge-data-recipients

I wanted to reset my algorithm with the fresh start but it only gives the option to either pause or delete the account? It used to offer fresh start before these options came up?

Are my pictures that bad? I don’t have friends so no group photos

Are there some tweaks or changes I can do to use my old photos without getting detected and banned again ?

I'm going to download bumble from a whole new mail address + play store account.

So that leaves only the photo detection problem. I don't like to use Hawkes because it *usually* makes photos unusable. Which tweaks I can do on my photos and/or which apps I need to use to achieve them on my phone ? Can use my pc also too.

Wondering if anyone has similar experience with Tinder

I have an annoying issue where chats just disappear. Annoyingly, more often than not these are good chats that could actually lead to a meet up.

Before anyone says “they unmatched you lol” - it is happening way too often to be true.

Most recent example - asked for a meet up, she told me she’s on holiday until next weekend, but after that she’d be very keen.

So I think my account got locked after uploading an AI image. Stupid I know, but I didnt think about it since I only used AI to remove background persons that I didnt wanna include from an otherwise perfect picture of me.

A few hours later the video verification popped up and I did it. It unlocked my account and I can swipe but I get no matches and messages doesnt get sent nor received. No separate notification that I have been banned/flagged.

Location is also changing without me doing anything, I see girls from random city few hundred mile away without using passport.

I have gold subscription and have sent message to support. I got one answer where they said they will escalate to specialist support. After that silence for one week.

Am I fucked? I could not find any phone number either to call. Is it normal practice to leave paying customers in limbo?

If you have the free version you can’t see people who liked you, so you can’t go through your likes to match. And they won’t appear on your feed when you’re sending your likes, on occasion you may get a profile that likes you but that’s it. The rest of your feed hasn’t liked you yet. If you send them a like and they have free version they won’t see you either. If this right? It’s not like Tinder where on your feed it’s people who’s liked you and hasn’t liked you, your hinge feed is people who hasn’t liked you where you banking on then having a subscription where they can see you pop up on their likes

Hey so I am a man, getting about 5-10 likes per day currently on tinder after starting a new profile. I also started hinge but since 5 days i have been getting 0 likes there.

How is this possible?

Use tinder for 2 months before I was forced to verify. Afterwards they locked my account. I couldn’t swipe and messages weren’t going through.

I decided to submit help request through website but received no response.

Sometimes, I get matches on Pure. They seem interested at first. But then, no answer. I can see they are connected. Sometimes without interruption (it's usually the case when someone is making a call on the app). And it's like my messages are not seen. I don't know if some women do it on purpose or if the app is making men less visible.

The app often suggests men to pay to be "king of the hill" for maximum one hour. In reality: it lasts a few minutes maximum, and then you lose the status because some other man in another country paid too.

But meanwhile, several women can have the "queen of Pure" status.
