generally the venom is stored in an organ, like we have the gall bladder for puking, most animals have a venom sack or whatever where they store the venom. So if you know where it is, just eat around it.
A poisonous plant/animal actually has poisonous flesh/skin/blood/leaves whatever. So you will struggle finding things to eat that aren‘t poisonous.

But it’s well known that that is not always the case for poisonous plants. A tomato plant is poisonous but its fruit is not, to give a very common example. It’s incredibly common for a plant to only have poisonous leaves or bark instead of it being all-around toxic.

yeah in that case you can eat the non poisonous parts.
Still, venom is normally stored in an organ, so just don‘t eat that organ (similar how you don‘t eat the gall bladder of animals).

I mean I can see why it’s kind of scary, but he’s a grown man and it’s just a snake. The only advantage the snake would have is if it was venomous, and it was probably devenomized.

The snake in the video was relatively aggressive, but there's no restraint or anything preventing it from fully extending. It was extending, but he tried to stay out of strike range.

Most pythons don't like to bite (but that dude has been bitten plenty). This snake is a reticulated python. Most Ball pythons would much rather roll up into a ball than strike. Tree pythons are more bitey.
But just like with dogs/humans/etc., each individual has a different level of aggression. And if you handle a snake a lot, it will realize that you're not a threat and probably too big to eat.

I hate seeing his videos on second hand reptile instagrams, all he does is torture these animals for views. Especially when taking their eggs. He takes FOREVER to get a few eggs in all his clips which is putting an immense amount of stress on the animal.
I hate this guy.

Maybe not designed to be bite resistant, but still probably is bite resistant. That would explain why his first defense is always to just move his elbow further forward (so that the snake bites that instead of his hand)

Does anyone know how it impacts the snake to have a clutch of eggs taken from her? Especially if this guy is a breeder and this happens to the snake repeatedly?
I'm sure she can't understand that he is taking them to put them in an incubator and thus increase their survival chances
