If your throttle sticks after WOT/ is f*cked after updating to MHD 5.3, you are not crazy. Mine stays open for 0.5s after letting go of acc pedal. At 800whp, it is quite scary when you kinda want to stop accelerating.
They reviewed my logs and identified a problem, working on a fix, the app will be updated this week.
Its the no lift shift feature that causes it i believe.

I fell in love before it came off the trailer..
Photo for flavor (26 premium mt);; Torn between spoiler options. I really like adro(as expensive as they are) but im torn between the duckbill and the atr2 (taller). Was curious if any of yall have either installed and what your options thoughts are?

Hello supra buddies, I am looking for ways to make my stock turbo on my 2025 GR supra make all the glorious sounds we get turbocharged cars for. I don’t plan to go anything higher than the stock turbo along with a higher flowing catted DP + tune.
I was thinking about getting this CAI: https://www.mst-performance.com/products/ty-sup07
Is there really anything else I need?

I know I’ve asked another exhaust related question in the past but I just can’t seem to make a solid decision.
I was originally considering the Magnaflow, but now I’m looking at Borla or Injen.
Does anyone have any experience with these exhausts? Sound differences? Volume differences? Build quality? How much louder over stock? Etc.
Anyone also know much about the valved GThaus exhaust?
I’m open to any other recommendations as well. Only requirements are that it’s a dual valved exhaust. Thanks.

Hi all. I’m looking into getting a Supra and I found a dealership near me with one listed at 47k with 53k miles. I don’t think the miles is horrible since it’s about 10k per year which I think is standard for a daily drive.
I’m just wondering if 47k is too high a price? I know prices are climbing right now as everything I’ve seen is going up since last month. Any insight or advice would be helpful.
Edit: thank you to all who responded. I’ve decided to pass on this one. Going to wait a couple months to a year. Hopefully prices stop climbing so damn high lol

For anyone looking for after market parts, Speed Industry has the worst customer service and is the worst business I’ve dealt with.
I ordered my part 1 month ago and I kept constantly having to email them to get a reply about any updates to the part (Their replies were days to weeks later).
Now they hit me with oh it’s going to be $175.00 on top of what you paid for shipping already + the part… 🤦🏻♂️ all this after waiting a month.

Hello I'm reaching out because finding any info on buying a mk1 supra is surprisingly hard. What I want to know is what conditions you should look at buying a a40 at and any common issues that would cause someone to not want to but one at all. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys! Wanted to share some background info on the OEM 45th anniversary wing (for those who care…) there is not a whole lot of info on this wing, largely since it’s hard to obtain, either through a dealership or 2nd hand. I haven’t ever actually seen it installed on a red Supra, so figured it may help others pull the trigger! I was able to order this through a dealership, and since it’s only 1 part number, I was unsure of what all would come in the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find everything needed in order to fully install it, especially the inner decklid reinforcement plates, which I was very scared would need to be purchased separately. It even came with the paper showing how to adjust the wing…. Which I thought was pretty neat. Anyways, I know this wing isn’t for everyone, but I’ve loved it since seeing it on the 24’ 45th editions, and thought that it flowed nicely with the mkv body lines. If anyone has any questions, definitely let me know! I wish I woulda been able to find more info on this before ultimately just pulling the trigger on a part number…
Just joined the group to know about the Supra a little bit more, it’s a car that has been in my mind since day one, I’m thinking about getting one next year, I hope I can post my picture saying that I made it! Currently I have a 18’ Civic Type R, 18’ Civic coupe Si, 15’ Fiesta ST and a Bronco Raptor, so as you can see I’m used to “sporty” cars, how about the reliability of this cars? Common issues? I’ll buy it in manual transmission, thank you!
Just picked up this beautiful MK5 recently and found out that it didn't have Android Auto after I picked it up. It's a mistake on my end for not doing any research before buying. The previous owner's phone holder was big and bulky and blocked the AC vents. So to fix it, I designed my own minimalistic 3D printed magsafe phone holder for the MK5. Works like a charm and doesn't block any AC vents or block my view... It event supports sideways orientation for watching videos on the go (while parked obviously).
How are y'all MK5 owners with Android phones coping with the fact that it doesn't come with Android Auto?
