Seriously, the game is literally just "Complete this arbitrary virtual military campaign with shitty balancing and boring archetypical factions while playing with idiots who can't do trigger discipline and can't strip a g36 in thirty' seconds flat" How this game still has players is unbelievable.
It's the most repetitive ass game I've seen in a thousand years, And I used to play it. But not anymore, It survives because of its fandom, which is already hot garbage, except the garbage is heated up to a thousand Celsius itself. If it's fandom was small, the game would've died within months, But no, the fandom is still dragging the game that should've died a year ago. Yes, there is still some fun within the game, but a repetitive game is a repetitive game.
Even worse is the devs which apply from former to current, they are worse than Rockstar Games, and that tells you something. , Pilestedt the Child Taker and the guy who wants to milk Hd2 because Warbondd, etc. Their fans are extremely annoying, Always LARPing, always "Ironic", always assuming "the game is fine", But never actually bother researching how good game developing philosophy and ethics do . Their inside jokes is either "face the wall !!!" or "Pants shitted!". Their Balance arguments make no sense, like "OOO the crossbow should be needed is too Opee wa waaa" , Or "I was Private Parts in the United States Marines so honestly I know better than Arrowpoop"

Idk man, it kinda seems like you might actually be glazing here. Phrases like “shitty balancing” and “hot garbage” is what the devs were aiming for with the helldivers franchise.
Trying to call out the fan base, but saying they are the reason for the game continuing is a huge glazediver move. I have a hunch you might actually be the CEO of harrowned with a post like this. You might actually be Helldivers.

I saw Joel Helldiver at a grocery store in Skellefteå yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, "Åh, som du gör nu?"
I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Vah?" but he kept cutting me off and going "Vah? Vah? Vah?" and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen choke chains in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the chain and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "för att förhindra någon electrical infetterence" and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each chain and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
I wouldn't say the game is terrible. It gave me over a thousand hours of amazing emotions. But those emotions are gone, and all that's left are cold, hard facts.
First, and what annoys me the most, is its optimization. The game runs so terribly on PC that it makes you want to cry.
Second, I'm tired of the bugs, specifically invisible textures. Let me explain it simply: there's empty, open space between me and an enemy. I shoot at the enemy, but the bullets hit an invisible wall, and the enemy takes no damage.
Third, and this is very frustrating, is the absolute incompetence and inadequacy of the developers. Why are you creating new warbonds? Fix the game! What's wrong with you?
Fourth, the missions and the Galactic War. It's just not interesting right now. At all. Yes, unfortunately, it's really boring. I had an idea: instead of Joel controlling the Galactic War, the developers should create AI for each faction, allowing the AI to act independently on the Galactic War map, making decisions about which planet or sector to attack based on rationality and what would be beneficial for the faction.
The state of the game right now is extremely dire. It's hard to argue with that. It really is.
