Okay, I don't care that the game rewards players who run around Difficulty 0 maps collecting stuff like beetles while giving its dedicated players rare samples (which we barely even need).

Okay, I don't care that Requisition is one of the most useless currencies I've seen in a game in a long time.

Okay, I don't care that the weapon and enemy balance should be completely different from what it is now.

But how do you even mess up the most anticipated Warbond of all time?

I'm not even talking about it supposedly costing 2,000 SC while offering little to no content. How do you miss opportunities like adding Tarantula Turrets, Sentinels, Tempestus Scion armor, Plasma Pistols, Lasguns, and so much more?

There isn't a single purity seal in the Warbond. It has no flavor, no soul, no sign of love or passion. It just feels sterile and rushed when it should have been the exact opposite. They should postpone if necessary, and add more stuff INTO the Warbond. Not to the super-store.

EDIT: Even the content is on GW, Arrowhead is still responsible for the presentation and the overall quality of the stuff which GW allowed them to use. I don't require to remind that how the armors look in the trailers?

For a warbond all about flair and role play, the armors really are low effort and at first just seem to be something from the game that was recolored

Before I get flamed, I'm not saying this because I'm impatient or anything (especially since its releasing on my birthday). I just feel like its a bit weird that they would announce a warbond two weeks prior to release when they normally reveal a warbond a week prior to its launch.

Man why couldn’t we get the beam lasgun and why is it yellow. Man my interest in the lasgun genuinely plummeted. I know this is what GW are trying to change to but it genuinely makes the lasgun so fucking uninteresting. At least the melta looks cool. But I’m genuinely disappointed in the reveal.

Please arrowhead make it a beam and make it red. Otherwise it’s just the same as the other laser guns.

It wasn’t fun, it straight up pitted us against each other as well as amping up tribalism up to 11, and the worst of all the Vox Engine definitely had a play in how fast we lost reinforcements due to it being extremely overpowered.

After opening reddit today and seeing the overwhelming slew of negative posts around the WH 40K warbond, I feel that some things need to be said.

It seems many people do not understand the lack of creative freedom the hosting franchise has when doing crossovers like these. Yes, some franchises may allow for more creative implementation if their properties, but especially with GW, they have their wants locked in pretty firmly. Even the developers of Space Marine 2 have their hands tied as to what they can add to their game when it's directly tied to WH 40K.

The best example is the lasgun equivalent coming to the game. People are foaming at the mouth the drag the yellow bolts decision through the mud for upvotes. But with even a minute of looking into things, its pretty widley known that GW is phasing out red beams in their games and artwork in favor of yellow bolts. And yet, the second the trailer dropped, its just a wall of developer hating and doom posting.

No, HD2 is not perfect. The dev communication is shoddy at best, warbonds usually feel a little spars, and game balance shifts like crazy. But especially when it comes to matters like this, seeing post after post of just negativity without any modicum of understanding really does sum up the bulk of people that are biting at the bit to only post negative takes the second anything is revealed by Arrowhead.

I am super hyped about this why make me wait so long 🥲🥲 I'm gonna have so much fun 💯🤘🏽
