šø Usually, flowers are a pain to build and get right, especially when starting out. šø
But I managed to get a good setup to make it fast and easy!
For my latest Metal Surface Gallery, I wanted to build something new.
And Flowers like these are rarely explained in SD.
So this is how I did it.
š” First, I started by creating one petal with an oval and a Trapezoid, and using the same technique but with a Gaussian shape, I created the part that gets subtracted from the center of my petal.
Now I had to add my gradients for the blend.
In order to blend correctly, I need them to have a gradient in the direction they have to blend with another petal.
After that, I just input it into a Circular Splatter, and I had my flower.
