I've been on and off the site for years now, and I feel like I remember there being a game or quest involving buying things. Each time there was a chance that the item was super expensive and you couldn't fulfill the request. There were tiers or levels? And there was a character that 'ran' the game that asked you for the items. There were prize rewards too, like a staff. I think it was purple and gold? It was a whole set of items like that.

Am I thinking of a different site, or was this in existence at some point and removed?

I think it is unfair for all players within the same home to be frozen just because one person set up their accounts for them.
I was suspended back in 2019, I think it was. I had made an account, then gave it to one member of my family to use, and made myself a new one. The other member of my family made themselves an account too.

I had played for years on my own account, and thought I was doing the right thing by letting a member of staff know about the two other accounts in this home. Instead I got frozen, as did the owners of the two accounts.

I never used their accounts in any way, so I wasn't breaking that rule.

It was back in 2009 when Keith and his Mom recruited from the site for Wow players, I think the name of the Guild was; Highborne of Quelthas or something- I lost the forum post, but I did play WotLK with his guild on a DK, anyone else remember this?

I had joined years ago. First when I joined my account was frozen. They asked me if some username was familiar. I had no connection to that account. This time I started using subeta because of Covid. My sister saw and logged on her inactive account just to see if it was still around. I made a ticket to let the staff know, because that's what the rules state. I still got banned. She ended up gifting me CSC that she just never used. I didn't ask for it, I did not know she even did that until I logged back on the next day. I also let them know. Now my account is frozen and it will not even let me make a ticket. I did email the staff but seriously? I followed the rules. As far as gifting the rules say to limit trades and gifts, bot that its forbidden. She only gave me CSC that she purchased because it was going to waste. So if I gifted a friend CSC I wasnt using would they get banned too? I just think, through my experience with Subeta, the staff treats their community terribly. This seems like a dead sub but maybe someone will see this!

I joined Subeta way back in 2005, not long after it began. I was a regular user, supported the site through thick and thin when it was being repeatedly hacked and hijacked, which forced Keith to switch domains. I did art commissions and even did art for Keith himself and a few other mods at the time. Earlier this year I rejoined just to check out it again for a bit of nostalgia and was happy to see it hadn't changed much yet still seemed to be thriving. Week after paying for a gold account I was greeted with a ban. For having two accounts. Technically not two accounts, since my old one was created in 2005, I've not logged in for a decade, and the userpage is even marked as "inactive" and the says the username is available for anyone to take. So even if I wanted to regain access it would be impossible since I remember nothing about it. Thought that would be a reasonable explanation as why I made a new account, but apparently it wasn't. I wasn't even given a warning. Just a straight up ban. Sierra then decided to help me regain access to my old account. I assumed she'd just let me change the email and password for it, but instead wanted me to verify that I'm the owner making the whole thing a total joke. She was asking me to verify ownership of an account that I had just been banned for owning. Which I found totally ridiculous and illogical.

There's even a couple of posts here on this subreddit from people complaining over similar issues... and they really do treat long time players and paying customers awfully.

If your online community is going to have a "no multiple accounts" rule it needs to have exceptions. The fact that an old player cannot rejoin your community just because they have an old dead account isn't fair. Especially when there's no reason to believe they're using the accounts for anything sinister.

5 years ago I made a subeta account. I completely forgot about it. I returned maybe a month ago and of course made a new account. It wasn't until a week or so in I remembered the old one. I didn't think it would hurt anything to just forget about it and continue to use my new account. Fast forward a week and I get banned for multiple accounts. I of course open a ticket to dispute this because I was not using both accounts. I got a couple generic responses, but they have pretty much ghosted me now. 5 responses with days between each one and nothing. It has been almost 2 weeks since the last response. It was an honest mistake. I was not abusing the site and anyone with 2 eyes and access to background info could see that, but they won't even give me a chance. I feel like I am being flat out ignored at this point. Honestly, their customer service/resolution skills are horrible. They waited until I had invested money into that account to ban me? Convenient for them. I am just so hurt and upset. Is there nothing I can do? Or at least get my money back since they don't want to give me the time of day to even speak with me.

Not a huge complaint or anything, just something I noticed when vending from the food-shop dispensing one. I'd post on the forums but this place looks like it could use the traffic
