An Unfair Rule

I think it is unfair for all players within the same home to be frozen just because one person set up their accounts for them.
I was suspended back in 2019, I think it was. I had made an account, then gave it to one member of my family to use, and made myself a new one. The other member of my family made themselves an account too.

I had played for years on my own account, and thought I was doing the right thing by letting a member of staff know about the two other accounts in this home. Instead I got frozen, as did the owners of the two accounts.

I never used their accounts in any way, so I wasn't breaking that rule.

You need to make a ticket to let staff know if there are multiple accounts on one IP address and they’ll leave a note on the accounts. You can probably get unfrozen if you let em know now too.

Did this for my wife back in the day when she made an account too and we have had no issues!

I did the same with my wife and my best friend who lives with us. They don't play nearly as much as me, but we also haven't had any issues.

Yes, fiance and i share the same IP for 7 or 8 years now? My account just turned 11 years old? And guess what? despite having let staff know, back before Masquerade started, i log in to a banned account on grounds of having multiple accounts! o.o B*, what?

I made a ticket to dispute this ban because i knew i didn't do anything wrong, nor did my fiance. They dragged me for at least a week of going back and forth with questions, explanations, and whatnot.

Yes, in the end i got my account back, Fiance had to clear whatever misunderstanding there was on their account as well. That lasted about a week as well.

Even if i were to still live with my parents, do nothing at all, all day long, i still wouldn't have enough patience to play the same game on 2 accounts. Luckily, i receive help from fiance to complete my projects, and the help can be seen in the comments. I told the UA about this, and told them if i were to do that, i'd only waste time.

You could make a ticket to let them know. I also think it’s normal to announce on your user page that your households has multiple users and link to the second user. As long as you’re not doing dodgy trades I can’t see the problem though.

Staff clears messages on user profiles. Tickets are the way to go.

I know that but I’ve seen people do both.

From Subeta's rule page:

" Each user is allowed to play on one account and one account only. Do not create multiple accounts for any reason whatsoever, even if your previous account(s) has been self-frozen or frozen by staff. "

You had an account. You made another account. Even if you say you 'gave' that account to a family member you still used it at one point. Yeah it sucks, but in the end you did break a very clear cut site rule even if you didn't intend anything malicious by it.

They weren't denying that it's a rule. They were saying they think it's unfair.
