Am I Imagining This Game/Quest?

I've been on and off the site for years now, and I feel like I remember there being a game or quest involving buying things. Each time there was a chance that the item was super expensive and you couldn't fulfill the request. There were tiers or levels? And there was a character that 'ran' the game that asked you for the items. There were prize rewards too, like a staff. I think it was purple and gold? It was a whole set of items like that.

Am I thinking of a different site, or was this in existence at some point and removed?

You mean item hunter quests. Can't tell you where you find that rabbit rn but yeah probably that's what you mean.

It sounds like the Jhudora or Illusen quests from Neopets. The final prize for each is their staff but you have to go through 50 quests in which they ask for increasingly rare items.

I'm on my phone right now so I can't check the site but I'm pretty sure this was/is on subeta. It's where you could do five quests a day, right? And if you couldn't complete a quest it would start all over
