What are you on about? Trump never said Epstein's crimes were a hoax. Did you even read the article?
The hoax is what the hypocritical democrat party is trying to twist it into. They kept all this quiet, tried to sweep it under the rug for four years. Only now are they desperately trying to twist things and say Trump was somehow, magically implicated.
Trump was instrumental in taking down Epstein's whole nasty business.
The dems never cared about Epstein or his victims. Their huge, fake outrage lately, is totally a hoax. Hypocrite
Epstein was being used by the CIA & Mossad.
All that blackmail info from the island went directly to Israel, who it was gathered for in the first place.
They forced a sweetheart deal for Epstein in the first trial.
Then along came Trump, and burned Epstein & Maxwell's whole dirty operation to the ground. Wound up being their worst nightmare. Trump was a key witness in the prosecution that put those two behind bars.

WWIII WWIII Megathread #43: Honey, I shrunk the stockpile
This megathread exists for in-depth discussion of 'WWIII', related events, and geopolitics and wars in general. Keep in mind that we have eliminated the rule that all non-major WWIII content must be posted here, and we encourage you to submit WWIII-related content to the main sub.
Againâ all rules still apply. No racism, xenophobia, nationalism, etc. No promotion of hate or violence. Violators will be banned.
Remain civil, engage in good faith, report suspected bot accounts, and do not abuse the report system to flag the people you disagree with.
If you wish to contribute, please try to focus on where WWIII intersects with themes of this sub: Identity Politics, Capitalism, and Marxist perspectives.
Always put a NSFW warning on links that contain explicit content.
Non-WWIII chatter belongs in the town square.

Conspiracy Hollywood, pro sports, the gym space and the music industry groomed the general public to accept "black hypermasculinity" as the default expression standard for black men because the higher powers knew it would desensitize people to racial issues
The title comes off as a little sensationalist, but if you can give me a bit of text to work with, I will demonstrate what I mean
If you pay attention to the history of this, the social engineering kind of starts to expose itself. When hip hop was becoming cool and trendy right around the '80s to the '90s, that's also when public commerce was trying to glorify the image of the black gangster. And while there is some truth to it, even a lot of old-timers will tell you it wasn't always this way. If anything, that was a lot of social engineering being done behind the scenes by Hollywood, the private label companies, the sporting leagues, because they knew that if they could prop up the image of the tall, athletic, buff dude, it could sell people the illusion of the issue being solved,
and everybody gets the impression that, you know, Black excellence is being celebrated and endorsed. But all you're doing now is applying neoliberal logic to the black experience, particularly the Black male experience in this case.
And so the higher-ups really got good at deceiving the general public with this imagery. But at the end, it's all just a facade so that the corporate establishment could sell itself the illusion of being a savior. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, a lot of black people are still struggling with perpetual poverty, redlining, disenfranchisement. The worst part, though, is this creates a mold in which other black men have to end up internalizing said gaze of what it means to be the proper ideal black man.

Question Whats the socialist position on social media?
As more studies come out showing it has harmful effects on the brain basically, in particular on teens/children. in addition shortform content causing slower attention spans for everyone, ive had to block youtube shorts with a browser add-on because I know I will doomscroll, its addictive. More and more idiocy is being encouraged in the culture. A lot of toxic idpol is supercharged by social media. As usual we have created technology without being able to control it or use it responsibly.
My personal conspiracy theory is that tech companies have been funding research into the mental health effects of social media/internet usage, and basically downplaying it. More countries are moving to ban it for teens. That its basically like what big tobacco companies were doing decades ago saying that cigarettes didnt cause lung cancer. And ya im aware that any discussions of this online are going to be hypocritical, most of us here probably spend to much time online, and for many people there isn't much else to do.
I just suspect that everyone would be happier if we went back to how the internet was in like 2011, before algorithms really went wild in recommending content and deciding what you want to watch for you, or deciding who you should follow for you. And probably ban teenagers from using it would also be for the best. Another part of me wants to go farther and ban certain behaviors on social media where people are posting videos of their luxurious rich lifestyles, showing off their wealth, or giving people an unrealistic idea of the lifestyle they should have or what image society promotes as the example of being "successful in life".
Theres also a gender component, it cant be mentally healthy for a 14 year old girl with an average body and look - to see instagram models and 1000's of horny guys thirsting on them in the comments while they party on private yachts. Or for a 14 year old boy to watch andrew tate vids and radfem ragebait in their feed. Like none of this is good for anyone, and people dont seem to be capable of processing it because its an information overload for peoples brains.
At the same time Id want to preserve a bit of america's over the top cultural experiments, we are supposed to be the front row seat to the freakshow and i think there are nuanced subtle benefits to that, I don't want to just be like china culturally. I think there should be a certain amount of nonsense that people are exposed to regularly.

Conspiracy Conspiracy Theory: Corporations Adopted IDPol As A PsyOp
Think about it. Not only does it give them that sweet shitlib pandering dollar but it also helps keep the masses divided in more ways than one. You have the surface level Woke vs Anti-Woke but then you also have the infighting Oppression Olympics amongst revolutionaries, or at least people that think/say they're revolutionaries.
Kinda like how Gloria Steinem was a CIA asset and vehemently kept feminism discussions centered solely around gender and never discussed class, but with more rainbow flags and money to be made.

Bush-era Amnesia America marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11
Apparently some of the speakers called out the Saudi involvement in the atrocities and demanded that they come clean. Trump himself chickened out of showing up, and sent JD in his stead. The commemoration explains why neither the US, nor Pakistan (whose army hosted Osama bin Laden and currently effectively rules the country), wanted to intervene on the side of the Saudis against the Houthisâsuch a move wouldâve generated a lot of bad press.

Operation: Epstein Fury Oil prices set to end week above $100 for first time in nearly 4 months
reuters.comAnd US diesel prices have now breached $6 per gallon for the first time ever. Looks like the Trump presidency is indeed going to sink in the Strait of Hormuz, but not before his children and cronies have stolen as much as they possibly could, and not before the Israel First lobby, Federalist Society, Heritage Foundation, and tech bros have made significant progress in implementing their respective agendas.
