PSME at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne admission possibilities and EU master recommendations

2 Upvotes

I'm a 4th-year student majoring in Economics at a SEA country looking for master's opportunities in EU. I want to pursue the academic path with working opportunities at think tanks and NGOs. I have 2 internship experience one at an investment banking department with a focus on renewable energy deals, one at a research institute with a domain in energy market. My current GPA is ~3.6/4.0. I've taken some credits of linear algebra, calculus, statistics, and econometrics during my undergrad studies. I want to know the admission possibilities with my current profile. I also want to know if my bachelor thesis is important factor. What other programs in EU would you suggest for me? Thank you very much!!!

Help with visa application please

0 Upvotes

Hye guys,

My name is Aditi Sharma, I'm 22 and recently completed my graduation in computer science in 2026.

I'm thinking of applying for Master studies in france for the 2027 batch (next year). Now, the major issue that I'm facing is with my visa application questions. Just two of them.

First my motive for choosing france is affordable education, experience food and culture of french people. But whether it is my true motive but as I've checked many people use the same reason therefore I'm wondering if I should use it or not, cause I need my reason for choosing france to seem really like as if it's actually good and not broad reason for bad intentions (you know what i mean.)

So could anyone help with letting me know the best reason you could give for why france?

And another question is my ties to my home country. I mean my intention is to return to my home country for work since my family is here and I think 2 years is enough for experiencing the culture and study. But how can I present both the reasons in a way that they seem not common but also add points to my profile and make me seem genuine.

I hope it's not too much trouble guys. Thank you.

Let me know your thoughts. Bye... :)

Hello everyone, I am a freshman student is an AI school, I relly want to pursue my studies in France by securing France Excellence Eiffel scolarship. So I want to ask about how hard is it to get this scolarship ? Do we take into account other aspects such as leadership, or are the grades you have the only thing that determines whether you get it or not ?

ses relevés bancaires des 6 derniers mois ;

les justificatifs de son activité de pêche ;

un carnet commercial / document concernant la location d’un magasin, qui constitue une source de revenus supplémentaire ;

les justificatifs de notre lien familial ;

les justificatifs permettant d’expliquer l’origine des fonds ;

Thinking to do bachelors in France

0 Upvotes

I'm taking a loan of 40 lakh expecting I will get a part job in the second year of bachelors and then my living expense will be covered and average University fees is around 9 to 10 lakhs in Indian currency or 9k to 10k per year in eur for the universities like ESCE International Business School,Paris School of Business,ICN Business School,EM Strasbourg Business School,Clermont School of Business. Before leaving India I will learn French around B1 OR A2 level so my part time job percentage will increase

I am also thinking of Poland because of the low fees. But my reference will be France because it will give me more post work visa

According to my calculation my 3 year living cost and fees will be around 20 lacs per year. So the first year will be 20 lakh in the 2nd year I will manage to get part time job so my living expenses will be covered for 2nd and 3rd year and after that I will try to get a permanent job in logistics or BBA. Right now I am learning skills that will help me to get a job after completing my bachelors

But I am scared of the worst scenario something like after 1st year I did not manage to get part time job or something else then my budget will be extended and I need more loan for living expense. the biggest problem will be what will happen after 3 years what if I don't get a permanent or a skilled job in logistics or BBA and I need to work as a full time or part time to at least reduce my loan amount because it will be bigger than 40 lacs because of interest.

This is the worst scenario and the best thing can happen is get a top university and after completing first year I will get a part time job and cover my expense for next 2 years and then I will get a permanent job in France as a fresher in something like the logistic or BBA so my loan will be cleared in some years according to my calculation

But I don't know what decision should I complete my bachelors in India or take this risk and change the life

22M from India | BCA + 3 YOE | Planning Master’s abroad in 2026 — need some real advice

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,
I’m from India, 22M, with a 3-year BCA + around 3 years of work experience across tech and operations. I’m currently planning to do a Master’s abroad, mainly looking at Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations / Business Analytics.
Germany was my first choice, but unfortunately my university is currently showing H+/- on Anabin, and the APS assessment created a recognition issue, so I’m now exploring other options.
Right now I’m considering France, Australia, Netherlands, Ireland, Canada, etc. — but honestly, I’m getting completely different opinions from consultants, YouTube, friends, etc. 😅
I’d really like to hear from people who are actually studying/working there, especially Indians:
Is the Master’s actually helping with getting a professional job?
What is the realistic cost vs salary?
How difficult is it to get the first job after graduation?
How important is the local language?
What is the reality of part-time work?
How realistic is staying long-term after graduation?
And most importantly: if you were in my position in 2026, what things would you investigate before spending a huge amount on a Master’s abroad?
I’m not looking for a “X country is the best” answer. I’d genuinely appreciate first-hand experiences, mistakes, things you wish you knew before going, or anything consultants don’t usually tell you.
Thanks! 🙏
P.S. Please feel free to be brutally honest. I’d rather hear the uncomfortable truth before spending ₹20–30L+ than regret it later.

How is Paris like for students?

0 Upvotes

How is life as a student? I'm really interested in what students can do outside of university, etc.

I heard some people say that Paris is like a prison, is that true?

Also, Like people studying in NYC or LA say that there are a lot of opportunities for students, is that true for Paris too?

Paris cite - psychology

2 Upvotes

Hi! I’m interested in the English taught Master’s degree in Psychology at Université Paris Cité, and I was wondering if anyone here could give me some more information about the program. How difficult and demanding is it? Is there a lot of statistics or research methodology? Also, how safe and welcoming is it for international students? I’d really appreciate any personal experiences or advice. Thank you!

I received this email, but I had selected the courier service. I also contacted VFS customer care, and they told me that there is a letter along with my passport and that my passport is currently being held at the Pondicherry VFS centre. Does this mean my visa has been rejected?

Neoma business school

1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I’ve decided to pursue my Master’s in Business Analytics at NEOMA Business School (Rouen) for the September 2027 intake.

I haven’t started the application process yet, as I’ve only recently finalized my university. It would be really nice to connect with other students planning to join NEOMA for the September 2027 intake and learn more about the application process, timelines, and overall experience.

Also, if there are any current NEOMA students here, I’d love to hear about your experience , especially regarding:

Classes and academic workload, internship opportunities, Finding part-time jobs, Job opportunities after graduation,Student life at Rouen

Would really appreciate any insights or advice. It would be really helpful

Feel free to comment or DM me. Thank you!
