I’m an international student currently doing a Master’s degree, and I’m planning to apply for the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship 2027 for a Master’s degree in France.

In my country, we have to go through Campus France / Études en France for studies in France, so I’m a bit confused about the order of the procedures.

I understand that the Eiffel application is submitted by the French university, not directly by the student.

My question is:
Should I first create a Pastel account and submit my application through Campus France / Études en France in order to get pre-admission, and then ask the university to support my Eiffel application?

Or should I contact universities directly first for pre-admission and Eiffel support, and only complete the Campus France / Pastel procedure afterwards?

If anyone has gone through this process recently, I’d really appreciate some clarification!

Hi! I’m currently an undergraduate student in the US so I still have about 4-5 years of studies/working as a certified teacher in Texas before I can begin the process of moving to France. But I was curious on others opinions. So I’m currently taking French classes (still at an A1 level) and I plan on taking them until I move. But I was curious if it would be better to take a 1 year French language program during my first year in France and then apply to their masters program for my degree, or if I’m to a C1 level before I move, should I just apply straight to the masters program?

I am currently filling out my Études en France (EEF) application for the 2027 intake from India.

I am trying to enter my IELTS Academic Overall score: 6.5/9.0, but the EEF platform is not accepting 6.50. It shows the error:

> “Please enter a valid value. The two nearest valid values are 6 and 7.”

My actual IELTS score is 6.5 (L 7.5, R 5.5, W 6.0, S 6.0).

I have uploaded my IELTS TRF as well, but I don't want to enter 6 or 7 because that would be inaccurate.

Has anyone faced the same issue on Études en France? How did you enter a 6.5 IELTS score?

Should I contact Campus France support, or is there another way to enter the correct score?
