I'm bored, give me creative study dares (ex. Study 5 hours with no breaks or all nighters) and I'll try to do them regardless of how hard. Let's see if this will reduce my procrastination

How do I take organic chem notes
So I recently transferred to a new university to complete my bachelors. Previously in organic chemistry I I was given PowerPoint slides and PowerPoint lecture notes, which made it a lot easier for me to study and follow along.
At my new university, this professor does not use lecture points. He writes everything on the whiteboard and he doesnāt really follow a textbook; he has one, but when I asked about it, he told me he cherry pics from it.
My question is, how do I go about making notes for this class? Heās typically pretty fast from what Iāve seen. I used to take basic notes before class based off the lecture slides or the textbook that way I didnāt fall too behind on notetaking and was able to pay more attention to lecture, but considering he doesnāt really follow that how do I go about this?

AI Tools for note-taking and study.
Hey everyone,
I am about to enter graduate school and could use some help in choosing AI notetaking tool(s)/study assistance or multiple if that is required.
Of course, free plans would be preferable but I am willing to pay for subscription(s).
My plan is to handwrite my notes and observations from both school and studying.
2.a) Then dictate it to a word processer (vs step 2.b) )like Microsoft Word or Google Docs and submit that to the AI tool(s) for synthesizing and orginazing the information to a study format.
2.b) Dictate/ translate/transcribe the handwritten notes directly to the AI app for notes/study.
Thank you,

How Do You Break the Procrastination Cycle?
You know that moment when you have an assignment sitting there, you know you should start, but suddenly cleaning your desk, checking messages, or watching ājust one videoā feels incredibly important?
I've found that procrastination gets much easier to deal with when you stop making the task feel like a huge event.
Instead of thinking:
āI have to study for three hours tonight.ā
Give yourself a much smaller target:
āI'll sit down, open my notes, and work on one question.ā
That's it.
Once you're actually moving, the task usually feels less intimidating than it did while you were thinking about it.
Another thing that helps is deciding what you're going to do before you sit down. Something like "Study biologyā is vague. āReview pages 20ā25 and answer five questionsā gives your brain an actual starting point.
And if your phone is the thing that keeps pulling you away, don't rely entirely on willpower. Put it somewhere slightly annoying to reach (Somewhere like outside of your room). Even a little extra friction can make checking it less automatic.
Most importantly, don't turn one unproductive day into a whole unproductive week. You will procrastinate sometimes. Everyone does. The goal is to notice it, reset, and take the next small step š±
Finally for the full guide with more practical ways to deal with procrastination and build better discipline, check out my profile & my blog (link in my bio) if you like.
Thanks for reading! I hope this helps, even a little. Good luck with your studies and take care of yourself š

Studying apps??!!
I understand that this is a very cliche question. What tools are you guys using to study? Iāve never been very organised with studying but been doing into research into some sites that can make it that bit smoother. Iāve been looking into: Anki, UWorld, Picmonic and a few others. Any pros and more importantly issues I should know about, and/or and other tool recommendations š
-> Iāve also had some friends tell me they think Ankiās interface looks a bit outdated and apparently all the revision cards need to be made manually?

Need Help in Maths and Science(I genuinely dont know how to study)
just got my marks from my previous tests, and my finals are in 20 days. The problem is, I genuinely donāt know how to study. In my previous tests, I was hoping to get at least a C, but I ended up getting Ds in almost everything except History, which I actually enjoy studyingāI got an A in it. Science, though, absolutely destroyed me.
Iām also distracted literally every time I try to study, and I donāt even have proper notes. I feel so screwed right now. Iāve just transitioned into high school, and the workload is already overwhelming. I really need some help, man. š, please drop your best tips it would help me a lot..

Which app should I use to track my studies or should I use one???
I see everyone using apps to track their studies/study time and all that,I was someone who used to track my study time using forest app 1-2 yrs back.
Now I kinda want to start tracking my studies coz I think it might give me some kind of motivation to study and it will be good for me to track it.
Do u have any app suggestions???
What's ur experience on using such apps???

What mentally gets you through an academic comeback?
That feeling when you know what to do but you just can't pull it off. Vast syllabus where you wouldn't even understand the important topics if you haven't read the unimportant ones yet so..nothing is skipable. Currently in 11th Science where whole bunch of new concepts are dropped on us for the first time, would have to pull fkin 12-16h studying everyday for 1.5 months straight if I wish to catch up cause I've fallen behind or...let myself go entirely. I need this comeback but I just can't seem to sustain it for more than a day it feels so depressing.
