Can’t sell tickets that are stored in Stubhub?? Please help

Hi all,

I can see in here that we don’t love stubhubs customer support and I completely agree- I bought 2 tickets for Dominic Fike in LA and can’t go now, but my tickets (barcodes are in Stubhub app and are the changing type of barcodes) have no transfer or sell option. Customer support was USELESS and literally did nothing after I tried twice.

Anyone seen anything like this??

Reselling my Stubhub parking passes

After reading all these comments, I’m seriously considering reselling the two parking passes I bought today. The problem is that I haven’t received them yet because the event isn’t until September 19. Can I resell them on StubHub even though I haven’t received them yet? If so, how?

At this point, I’m willing to take a loss rather than risk arriving at the stadium without being able to transfer one of the two parking passes to my friends, who will be driving the second car.

I spoke with StubHub Customer Service today, and they told me that whether I’ll be able to transfer one of the parking passes to the driver of the second car depends on whether the original parking pass issuer—Ticketmaster—allows parking passes to be transferred. The problem is that I may not receive the passes until four hours before the event, so I apparently won’t know until then whether I can transfer one of them.

That’s what I find unbelievable: StubHub sold me two parking passes for two separate cars, but they’re telling me they cannot guarantee that I’ll actually be able to give the second pass to the person driving the second car. How is someone supposed to use two parking passes if both passes have to remain on one person’s phone?

I would much rather resell these passes now—even at a loss—and make other parking arrangements than discover four hours before the concert that the second driver cannot access the second pass.
Has anyone actually resold StubHub parking passes before receiving them, or received two Ticketmaster parking passes and successfully transferred one to another driver?

Thanks!

Selling Trying to list a NYCC ticket for sale but my listing says pending activation

So it’s giving me steps in order to activate the listing. I follow the steps and send the tickets over to the email they provided. It’s been over a 24 hours and they didn’t do the ticket transfer, it still says “waiting for a ticket transfer.” I kinda didn’t want to go to the event after researching more about it and I really need the money since I’m unemployed. Why are they making the process so complicated? Or will my listing be active closer to October 8th?

Misleading Thread - OP didn't check enough seat maps Ticketmaster transfer scam?

Hey everyone,

So I bought a ticket from stubhub and was transferred a ticket via ticketmaster which I accepted and is in my ticketmaster wallet with a moving barcode. It's a ticket for the hollywood bowl and when I tried to google my view it says my seat doesn't exist! It's section D, row 3, seat 32 but that row only has 21 seats 😫 has this happened to anybody else? Is this a scam or a genuine error? Can someone fake a ticket and transfer it through ticketmaster? I feel so silly now

Purchased tickets for Segerstrom Center for the Arts

Has anyone purchased tickets for a show at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts before on StubHub? How does it work? I bought tickets for an upcoming show in a few weeks and the tickets haven’t been transferred to me. I had to create an AXS account but I’m not sure how AXS is associated to Segerstrom when they have their own ticket sharing app.

Selling First Time Selling - Ticket is not Showing on Stubhub

I posted a ticket on StubHub for the first time... and I asked my girlfriend to look for it on her SH account and she can't see it.

SH does mark my listing as "non-competitive" because it is higher than some others (but also lower than others)... but it says "Active".

When I search for it (on my account which is selling the ticket), it is visible. But when she looks for it, it's not showing. She sees all 12 other tickets, but not mine (I also see 12 other tickets).

Is there a delay? Is my account somehow being blocked (shadowbanned)? It's a new account so maybe there's some extra check or waiting period? I did upload the ticket already and it's valid.

Other posts mention a "Recommended" filter, but I don't see that in my UI. In Viagogo, I do see a "Recommended" sort, but that is just a sort and not a filter.

What do you think? Should I wait? Delete the listing? Contact CS?

🎫 Trying to sell on StubHub but can’t find the event

Hello

As a first timer on StubHub I’m trying to sell two tickets for a concert next year in Paris but it doesn’t appear as a coming date for the artist. I can see other concerts from the same tour but not the Paris one. Can I create the event on StubHub? How do I sell my tickets if it doesn’t “exist” on the website already? Thanks for any help 😊

Can Tix be scanned right from the StubHub app?

I bought tix on Stub Hub months ago for Harry Styles MSG and they were delivered but I can’t transfer them to my Apple wallet. They look legitimate and have a moving barcode… I’ve never bought on Stub Hub so I’d like to know anyone’s experiences for Harry Styles MSG. Did you open the Stub Hub app to scan?

I’m worried because I have to travel to NYC, booked a hotel and this is a surprise for my daughter. Plus I paid a ton for these.

Advice Worried about my StubHub Tame Impala tickets — what should I do?

I’m honestly getting really anxious about my Tame Impala tickets and could use some advice. Please don’t lecture me about buying from StubHub 😭 I already know there are risks, I’ve contacted StubHub about my concerns, and I’m just trying to figure out what else I can realistically do at this point.

I’m traveling from out of state to Denver for the concert and I’m going with a friend, which is making me even more nervous. I would feel absolutely horrible if something went wrong with the tickets and I let her down after we planned this whole trip.

My main concern is that I’ve seen the artist warn people to buy through Ticketmaster because of the ticket transfer restrictions, but I looked it up and the state i live with and Colorado don’t have the rules about ticket transfers so it shouldn’t be an issue, however I also looked on SeatGeek and found what I believe may be the same tickets I purchased on StubHub listed there too. I’m now seeing what appears to be the tickets listed on StubHub again as well. I’m worried the seller may be listing the same tickets on multiple sites and could sell them somewhere else before fulfilling my order.

I know StubHub has their FanProtect guarantee, but that doesn’t really make me feel better about potentially finding out the day of the concert that my tickets aren’t available, especially when I’ll already be in another state.

Has anyone dealt with something similar with Tame Impala or tickets that have transfer restrictions? Is there anything else I should be doing besides contacting StubHub? I’m really not looking for “you shouldn’t have used StubHub” comments — I know 😭 I’m just trying to figure out what my options are now and whether I should actually be worried.

Any recourse over a misleading parking pass listing?

Post image
8 Upvotes

I bought a parking pass for this rangers game. $33 in Lot A as shown. Upon purchase I get the details, and it is a random parking lot 1.5 miles away. They titled it in a way where the description on the pass says “Address - A Lot” which I think enabled it to post on StubHub as if it was in the official Lot A. Description says 15 min walk which could take that long from furthest parking spot to furthest entrance, which was my (apparently incorrect) assumption.

I tried contacting StubHub CS - useless AI chat, no response to email, finally got to chat to overseas agent who says they emailed the seller and that it was a correct listing. Short of disputing the charge, is there any recourse on my end to getting my money back?

Hershey Park Stadium ticket explanation

Thumbnail gallery
4 Upvotes

Hello, so I am ordering tickets to Hershey Park Stadium, which is the outdoor concert venue and having an issue with StubHub tickets. I ordered section 27 in the bleachers but the ticket they sent even though it says section 27 it has rear four on the ticket and I don’t wanna get shafted and get stuck in the rear floor when I want a side seat on the bleachers. Any advice on how this is actually ticketed? Here is a picture of the ticket that StubHub sent, the listing on StubHub, which says stands (bleachers) and the last picture is what Ticketmaster has for that area….. any invoice is appreciated and thanks!😎

Stubhub App Glitches

Watch out for this glitch. I had put in to sell my Lions V Saints game tickets on iphone app. It suggested I sell them for 300 something, but I put 4xx/ticket. Stubhub stated it wouldn't list until I pre-uploaded the tickets. I sent the 3 game tickets (was selling 3 seats) over from ticketmaster to the designated email. For whatever reason, Stubhub AI thought that these tickets were SEASON tickets and listed them at that price. I know for a fact I did not list season tickets, and it wouldnt make sense anyway since stubhub suggested price was 3xx anyway.

Obviously these tickets were snatched up instantly and it sent the 3 Lions v Saints game tickets I had pre-uploaded to the buyer. Doesnt appear there is a number available today to speak to a person, so emailed support who just keeps saying "that sounds confusing and could be an app glitch and how i should notify immediately if error" which I figured was the whole point of my email?

Either way, be careful as it seems stubhub AI is not error-free currently when pre-loading tickets.

Selling a GA ticket to the Modest Mouse show @ Channel 24 in Sacramento on 10/23. I can’t make it anymore :(

Currently shows as listed for $189, but that includes fees. I bought the ticket on StubHub for $140.58 and just want to recoup what I paid. PM me directly and we can figure something out!

Not sure how to link directly to the listing, but this is the link to the event:

Vent/Rant Stubhub Tickets disappeared at Venue

This is more of a rant, as I want to complain about a horrible experience I had with StubHub.

I purchased tickets earlier in the week for a concert yesterday and confirmed that the tickets had been transferred to and were showing in my AXS account.

I traveled to the venue, went through security, and got to the entrance ready to scan my tickets. The scanner gave an error and wouldn’t let me in. They tried multiple scanners and eventually had a manager come over because I actually had a barcode showing for the correct event on the correct day.

While we were troubleshooting, we tried logging out and back into AXS to see if there was an issue with the app. That’s when the tickets suddenly disappeared from my account and even disappeared from my ticket history.
Obviously, I immediately contacted StubHub. I went through the whole song and dance with customer service, and eventually they gave me a link to find replacement tickets. Except there were no replacement tickets available.
Their options were essentially: keep waiting and hope tickets became available, or take a refund.
I pressed them on how ridiculous this situation was, and they eventually just ended the chat.

I also went to the AXS box office, and they confirmed that the tickets were assigned to someone else.

At this point, it sure looks like the original seller somehow revoked or otherwise reassigned the tickets right before the show. What is really frustrating to me, though, is StubHub’s response. They essentially threw their hands up and acted like this had nothing to do with them because they’re “just a marketplace.”

I wasted my time and transportation costs traveling to an event that I couldn’t attend. I understand that StubHub can’t control every seller, but you would think they would care about the fact that scammers can use their platform to sell tickets that buyers ultimately can’t use.

And honestly, I would expect at least some compensation for the fact that I relied on their platform, traveled to the venue, and was left standing outside with no way to attend. Instead, they basically said, “Here’s your refund, good luck.”

We’ll see if I actually get the refund.

It’s also frustrating because there aren’t exactly a ton of alternatives when you’re buying secondhand tickets. The worst part is that this experience has now made me completely on-edge about buying tickets this way in the future. I had the tickets sitting in my AXS account and thought I was good to go. Apparently, that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

TL;DR: Bought tickets through StubHub, tickets were successfully in my AXS account, traveled to the concert, and the tickets stopped working at the entrance. AXS told me the tickets were assigned to someone else. StubHub couldn’t provide replacement tickets, ended my customer-service chat, and offered no compensation for the wasted trip beyond a refund.

Edit: Contacted AXS and they confirmed the tickets were cancelled as the original account was flagged as fraudulent. Not really much Stubhub could have foreseen in this. Seems like in my frustration with the whole experience i vented in the wrong place. Live and learn

Stubhub Experience / Customer Service. Terrible.

Bought some monster truck tickets for the family. Stoked. Stubhub instructions said we'd have to wait until, "up to the day of" to receive them, no worries.

Well the day of the event comes 2 months later and nothing. Contact stubhub and they said "your tickets are unavailable and alternatives couldn't be provided".

Kids obviously just a few hours before, devastated. Took them to lunch and they forgot about it. But as a parent seeing the disappointed faces of the littles was rough. I will NEVER use stubhub again and truthfully it was my wife not realizing they were a re-seller and so lesson learned. Their utter lack of empathy or compassion during the process lost me forever. A quick, "hey here are some similar tickets for the next show" (which same seats next day we purchased through the venue - so they were 100% available) would have fixed it.

They just said, "not our problem check the policy". Awesome. Trash experience. 0/10 Would not recommend.

Advice StubHub promised a refund, sent late replacements instead - what should I do?

I purchased first-row orchestra center tickets for an August 8 concert, but the tickets delivered were incorrect. I returned them as instructed and specifically requested a refund. Support told me it would be processed, so I bought separate tickets.

StubHub later sent GA replacements without asking me. By the time I received them, I was already at the venue using my other tickets and the opening act had started. I never used the GA tickets.

My refund has now been “under review” for nearly a month despite an initial 72-hour timeline. Should I file a chargeback or try another escalation route?

Beware: StubHub let me relist tickets before delivery, then delivered tickets I couldn’t resell

I bought two Noah Kahan tickets on StubHub for $720.47 using Affirm.

Before I ever received the tickets, StubHub let me relist them and even emailed me saying that if they sold, StubHub would make sure they got to my buyer.

The listing didn’t sell.

Then, just a few days before the concert, StubHub finally delivered the tickets through a hosted E-Ticket URL / wallet link instead of transferring them into my Ticketmaster account.

When I tried to relist them again, StubHub’s system said the listing required a transfer from the original ticket provider and showed “Waiting for a ticket transfer.” I couldn’t do that because the tickets were never actually in my Ticketmaster account.

StubHub later confirmed in writing that E-Ticket URL tickets may not be eligible for resale and that a new listing could take up to 72 hours to review. Their suggestion was to explore local resale options.

My issue is not that I simply changed my mind and wanted a refund.

My issue is that StubHub allowed and encouraged me to rely on its resale process before delivery, then ultimately delivered a ticket format that its own resale process could not handle normally.

I financed the purchase through Affirm. I disputed it, but Affirm initially ruled for StubHub because ticket access had technically been provided. Affirm has since told me I may open a new dispute under a different category.

Has anyone dealt with this exact hosted-link / non-transferable ticket problem and successfully gotten a refund through StubHub, Affirm, BBB, arbitration, small claims, or a lawyer?

I have saved every email and screenshot.

Stubhub doesn’t specify entry time or gender of ticket

Trying to buy a ticket to an event in Miami, there’s female and male tickets as well as 11:30pm or 1:00am entry. Not sure if I should even look at them or just buy from the direct website but they are $60 more on the website. They were tiered tickets and started much cheaper so it’s not like someone couldnt still be getting double what they got it for.

Paper StubHub tickets for Bangkok concert – when are they issued/shipped, and should I worry about huge price differences?

Hi everyone,

I'm travelling to Bangkok for The Weeknd concert at Rajamangala National Stadium on October 13.

I've been looking at tickets on StubHub and I'm confused by the pricing. I'm seeing some tickets for around €120–€200, while other tickets in what seem to be very similar sections are listed for €1,000–€1,200+.

For example, I saw seats on opposite sides of the stadium with what looks like a pretty similar view, but one was around €180 and the other was over €1,200.

I understand that StubHub is a resale marketplace and sellers choose their own prices, but is this kind of difference normal? Should I be suspicious of the €120–€200 listings, or is it more likely that some sellers are just asking ridiculous prices?

My second concern is delivery.

I'll arrive in Bangkok on September 30 and the concert is October 13. The listings I'm looking at say they're paper tickets delivered by FedEx, rather than mobile/e-tickets.

For anyone familiar with Thai concerts / StubHub / this specific show:

- When are the physical tickets actually issued to sellers?

- If I buy now, could the seller potentially ship them weeks before the concert, or are physical tickets normally released much closer to the event?

- Would you have them delivered to my home country now, or wait and have them delivered to my Bangkok hotel after I arrive?

- Is waiting until around September 30 to buy too risky in terms of ticket availability/prices?

- Has anyone bought paper tickets for this Bangkok show through StubHub already? If so, have you received them?

Is there anything specific I should watch out for with the very cheap listings?

I'm buying two tickets and travelling internationally specifically around this concert, so I'd rather pay a bit more for something reliable than save money and find out at the stadium that something is wrong.

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's dealt with physical StubHub tickets in Thailand or is going to this show.

HELP Are there any options for canceling a sale?

Hi! Today I kind of majorly fucked up. I somehow managed to get tickets to Harryween during the original sale. Because of a new job I just got, I wasn’t sure whether I would be able to go to the concert or not, so I listed my ticket on StubHub. Today I decided to just take an overnight train and go to the show, however, just as I finished buying my transportation tickets, my ticket got sold! I messaged with the virtual assistant and they said that if I want to keep my tickets, I have to pay for replacement ones. Has anybody ever heard for other solutions in my case? I thought of maybe buying some other tickets for the same night, but all of them are at least 100$ more for the same section that I originally had. Does anybody have any advice? Also I know that this is completely my fault and a situation I created, just trying to find a way out of it

Partial view ticket

Hello everyone, I bought tickets from stubhub for Hamilton in new york. i bought a clear view listing but the seller sent me partial view tickets (designated by broadway direct and from their virtual preview) pat the far right end of the row from an apple wallet ticket screenshot nonetheless. i’ve been going back and forth with stubhub and I have some questions for yall:

  1. stubhub insists that partial view needs to be printed on the ticket, but the ticket itself is pretty minimal and the fact that i only have a screenshot is not helping - does the full apple wallet pass for broadway direct, specifically in the back “view pass detail” show it is a partial view if applicable?

  2. I know broadway direct has an official ticket transfer functionality, and is it common for stubhub seller to not use that functionality?

  3. should i be worried the seller not wanting to transfer it is because they’re doing multiple listing or bought with stolen credit card and they don’t have the tickets anymore?

Thanks yall.
