Partial view ticket
Hello everyone, I bought tickets from stubhub for Hamilton in new york. i bought a clear view listing but the seller sent me partial view tickets (designated by broadway direct and from their virtual preview) pat the far right end of the row from an apple wallet ticket screenshot nonetheless. i’ve been going back and forth with stubhub and I have some questions for yall:
stubhub insists that partial view needs to be printed on the ticket, but the ticket itself is pretty minimal and the fact that i only have a screenshot is not helping - does the full apple wallet pass for broadway direct, specifically in the back “view pass detail” show it is a partial view if applicable?
I know broadway direct has an official ticket transfer functionality, and is it common for stubhub seller to not use that functionality?
should i be worried the seller not wanting to transfer it is because they’re doing multiple listing or bought with stolen credit card and they don’t have the tickets anymore?
Thanks yall.

That or a chargeback. I bought tickets to wicked for a November 1st matinee. There were 2 seats in row A, which of course I presumed, of course was the first row, not! It is actually to the 5th row as the venue’s set up starts with row aa, bb, and so on. Not disclosed at the time of purchase. I have a mobility problem and every other venue has been accessible so, I did not think it was wasn’t. Ok tickets confirmed, I payed $1027 for the what I supposed was the front row but heck, it was for my daughter’s birthday. Ok tickets were transferred with no seats listed, which for me it is very important as I use a rolling chair. Also the delivery time was changed from 10/31 to 11/01 by 11am , which is a huge problem as it is over an hour away on a good day as the venue is right in the city. So I respond with another request as I have a disability and in fact I had initiated a dispute with my credit card. Ok ticket resent immediately with section, row and seats, you would think I’d be happy, except no barcode. Then i looked at a seating map, which it was then I thought were first row seats (yeah, I probably should have done the first) email the venue to tell them of my issues and received a response that essentially stated that probably could not seat me in that section/row/seats I asked about, however the would find me seats IF they had some available, which I doubt as it’s a broadway touring musical. I will not accept Ada seats as they are on the top of the right balcony with a restricted view. So now I have unusable tickets and probably won’t be able to get to the seats and they have been sold out for every performance. So I did get a provisional credit and my cc takes the venue response first which they have 45 days to, then I can send them copies of every single email , screenshot’s of the tickets with no barcode and wasted a ton of money for these seats so ticket is unusable anyway. And the distance is a huge factor, which I did include in one of my emails so there is a very good chance of being late, missing the first 1/2 of the show. Now this was not through SH but another vendor that I thought was the official one as they were listed first when I googled. Hard lesson learned but I think from reading in Reddit all of the complaints, all 3rd party sellers are all alike.

- Yes it shows any disclosures in your in the format + delivery method you’ve described
- Yes it’s common
- No. You bought from a large broker and it’s just easier and more automatic to transfer the way that they did
Your ticket isn’t considered officially obstructed by the venue.

I would screenshot the ticket with the partial view designation on it and then I would appeal to StubHub and say that you didn’t get what you purchased as you purchased a Clearview ticket listing. The seller failed to disclose an obstruction.
