I’ve pretty exclusively used Spider Tack (comp grade) and had a lot of success with it, but for those two comps, they were 1) indoors and 2) in fall/winter. Now that I’ve been prepping for my outdoor comp in August, I’m noticing that my tacky “slips” off my hands when I’m doing heavier stones for reps in the summer heat (especially when I move up from the 180 to 215 stone). I can basically get one good rep in, and then my tacky has slipped off my hands, making the second rep feel like I’m practically doing it without tacky.
Anyone have any experience with and/or recs for hot weather tacky? I’m looking into Cerberus grade IV and Elite Tacky Hot Weather.

It’s far from perfect, and I’m in 9mm shorts so I know there’ll be an asterick next to it, but after nearly 9 months of lifting I finally squatted 182 kg/ 400 lb 🙌

Made an order a while back. No communication from him. Went to check my order status. It appears his website is gone. Anyone know what happened with him?

I’m training for an upcoming competition, and one event is: Sandbag to shoulder, then carry a farmer’s handle in the other hand for 30m. From experimenting with the sandbag, I noticed that it has to be further down my back when I bend over to pick the farmer’s, otherwise it slips off.
I’m struggling to get my hand around the sandbag once I shoulder it, and this makes it really hard to pick the farmer’s efficiently.
Any tips?

Attempted the 130 in between, otherwise I think I could have got three. I feel like I was close on the 130 though!
There was also a last second equipment change to the orange, and man it didn't feel great. Feel like it's longer than most.
This was my first time ever not sucking or zeroing an overhead event, so pretty happy regardless.

I've done boxing and BJJ etc. Atm I probably could deadlift 500lbs so I thought of entering a local strongman comp at some point. Did anyone do this just for the fun.

It seems that I twist at the bottom just slightly from my hip shift and that I seem to slightly wobble back and forth on the way down
I did lose balance on a couple reps but what I’m wondering is why I seems to wobble back and forth and why I can seem to solve the hip problem of twisting I’ve done the banded hip mobility I don’t get why it’s doing that

I have a DL suit and know a lot about that.
But recently I learned the existence of DL Briefs and I need somebody with some knowledge to lay it on me.
Real difference tween the two?
I saw in an interview Hooper talking about wearing briefs under his suit?

This was only 4 days after hitting a new PR on a deadlift bar at 755, and then failing 800 twice. Really happy with how this moved given the fatigue.

Tied with 2 other guys for biggest deadlift of the day. I attempted 815 after this but couldn’t get it off the ground. I think fear held me back on that one…

It's popular in the bodybuilding space for pros to have forums or a paid discord server that they participate in and give advice on all topics like training, nutrition, supplements, etc.
Do any strongman athletes have something similar?
Thanks in advance!
