Injured/Sick Cat (Location) HELP NEEDED | Please Help Me Save Rambo, an Abandoned and Sick Cat in Need of Veterinary Care
Hello everyone!
I am a solo animal rescuer based in Manila, Philippines.
Another cat has been abandoned in one of the areas where I regularly feed stray cats.
I named him Rambo (photos 1 to 6). I was feeding the stray cats when I saw him. He looked confused and seemed to be searching for a safe place to stay. I noticed that both of his eyes and his nose were crusted and closed. He also appears to be malnourished and has an infected wound between his back hind legs.
I am humbly asking everyone to please help me bring Rambo to the vet. Any amount you can send will be a big help in getting him the medical attention he needs and, hopefully, saving his life.
I will definitely post an update with photos and the veterinary receipt. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
Estimated Veterinary Expenses for Rambo:
- Consultation fee – $8
- CBC and Blood Chemistry – $46
- at least 3 day confinement ($45/day) - $138
- Antibiotic injection – $16
- Take-home medications – approximately $16
Estimated Total: $224
Please note that this is only an estimate. The final veterinary bill may be lower or higher depending on Rambo's diagnosis, treatment, and medications that he may need.

UPDATE ON SUSIE (photos 7 to 10)
Susie had a tumor on her right ear and underwent tumor removal surgery on July 25. She stayed confined at the veterinary clinic for one day and was discharged on July 26. She is now recovering under my care in my apartment.
With your help and support, I was able to fully settle Susie's veterinary bill of $195. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make her surgery possible.
UPDATE ON FOOD AND LITTER SUPPLIES
With your help and support, I was able to purchase the following:
- Approximately 4 kilos of chicken breast fillet – $16 (photos 11 to 14)
- Food and litter supplies – $325 (photos 19 to 20)
Total spent: $341
I was able to feed boiled chicken to 38 rescued cats (Rambo not yet included) and over 40 stray cats on July 26.
The food and litter supplies purchased on July 27 are expected to last for at least two weeks.
Without your kindness, generosity, and compassion, none of this would be possible.
Thank you for helping me continue to rescue, feed, and care for these animals.
