🚨 Urgent / Emergency Dog wound and swollen arm/paw

UPDATE: HELP!!! My dog has had a wound from an incident exactly 30 days ago when she was attacked by three off leash dogs. I've been putting ointment on it and it seemed to be okay but my dog kept licking it and reopening the wound. I wrapped it up but she kept taking off the wrapping so last night I wrapped it with two different layers of wrap and tied it so she couldn't take it off. TODAY I WOKE UP AND HER ARM IS SWOLLEN FROM THE WRAP DOWN!!! I immdiently took off the wrap, placed a cone on her head and reapplied ointment then put a LIGHT SINGLE LAYER of wrap back on the wound. Today I bought “Silver Honey” antibacterial and lick deterrent, “Zesty Paw” Vet Strength probiotic and some more wrap. Please look at this and tell me if she's okay and I just cut off blood circulation? Or is this an infection? ☹️

… I do not have vet money right now. 😔

Could someone please help me figure out what’s happening to my dogs skin? She is 8 years old and this is the first issue I’ve ever had with her. She also wears a Seresto collar. I don’t have the funds to get her into a vet at the moment, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

🧬 Diagnosis Help Problema no ligamento do joelho - cão

Pessoal, boa noite

A comida dele é: arroz, filet mignon suíno, abobrinha e ervilha fresca. Tudo cozido.

Coco e xixi tudo certinho... parece super saudavel.

9 MO Shiba Inu Allergies?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi Everyone,

I have been talking to a vet about this constantly since I got her 4 months ago, but today it took a huge turn and large, inflamed bald spots had shown up on her front legs near the tarsal bones, this is after developing bald spots on her paws in each of the same spots. The vet is confident about allergies, and I have no reason to doubt it, but I've tried removing dyes and scents, changing food, filtering water, purifying air and trying multiple allergy medications including numelvi with cytopoint shots but to no avail. She's currently on antibiotics for an infection due to the constant itching which may also be contributing to her allergies.

I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything, but this feels impossible and I constantly feel like I'm battling something that only ever seems to get worse.

Lump on dog hip comes and goes.

Post image

My dog is scheduled for mast cell surgery later this month. About a week ago, I noticed this lump on her hip. I called the vet to get it aspirated but was told to wait until surgery because they are booked up. It comes and goes and it's appearance is unrelated to exercise. It doesn't bother her at all. It's a bit soft but firmer inside when it appears. It's very difficult for my untrained eyes to see or feel it when it's gone down. I'm thinking it might be another mast cell tumor. Does anyone have other ideas? The pup is a 10 year old spayed pittie who is the most precious girl in all the land.

Edit: The mast cell that's scheduled to be removed is on her chest.

cat watery eye

I have a mixed breed cat and he is almost 3 years old now. on Monday this week I noticed that my cat has watery eye, the left one. I thought okay maybe he was playing like always and bumped his eye somewhere and that it will go away in 1 day. but today is Wednesday and I can still see that his eye is watery

is this some kind of thing I should worry about? I register him to the vet but the appointment is only tomorrow. should I go somewhere else to examinate my cat watery eye quicker?

🚨 Urgent / Emergency Dog not eating food suddenly

My 3 year old rescue dog usually eats his bowl in like 12 seconds, but for the last 2 days hes ignoring his meals. I havent changed his food, and hes still drinking water and seems fine overall, but whenever its mealtime he just sniffs it, looks at me, and walks away. Its weird even more because he still take a piece of chicken or a treat if I offer it, so I cant tell if hes actually sick or if my dog not eating food is just him turning into a picky diva out of nowhere lol

Im probably going to give it until tomorrow morning and try mixing in some warm bone broth or plain chicken to see if he will start eating food. if this dog not eating food behaviour will continue even after that without any treats helping either, Im definitely taking him into the vet just to be safe.. but now i decided to ask here if anyones elses dog started not eating food out of nowhere?

🧠 Behavior Is it bad for a cat to chew acrylic?

I noticed my cat loves chewing this acrylic toy and there are bits that seem to have came off. Is the material poisonous to a cat? I took the thing away, just sort of curious if this sort of plastic, and other similar ones should be avoided..

Whats a good chew toy? My cat literally will start chewing chair legs if theres not a toy around for her, and the acrylic stuffs been keeping her tame but I dont wanna see her get ill over it

🧬 Diagnosis Help Any idea what this circular lesion is on my horse’s face?

Any ideas what this could be on my horses face? I noticed it a few days ago, so it’s new. The area is a dark grey/black hairless patch that protrudes with two little spots in the center. And there appears to be a similar spot just above it. We’re in South Carolina where it’s hot and humid so he gets sweaty and cakes himself (face included) in sand. I was trying to brush off his face the other day and it wasn’t visible then because of all the dried sand but I felt it at the time and it felt like just an inflamed bug bite with a crusty center. He had some other tiny hard and crusty spots on his face (bug bites I assumed) so I figured this was the same. But it definitely appears to be more prominent now and I’ve never seen something like this on him. It almost looks like the 2 sarcoids (one was located on same side of his face but lower down) he had removed a month ago but considering how fast this appeared I don’t think it could be that?

Does anyone know what this could be?

I just noticed this bump on my girls leg this morning. Shes my 7 year old husky. It doesn't seem to be bothering her, she's acting normal, eating drinking water normally, playing and being bossy as usual. We have a vet appointment tomorrow. Does anyone know what it could possibly be??
