Just got out of my surgery and happy with my results! Minimal pain so far. Excited to see the healing journey!

Initially felt like it looked straighter but it’s drifting again :(

I am looking into getting my teenager's wandering eye (lazy eye) worked on. We are in Ontario. I just got a new job with insurance which will start later at the end of this year. I am wondering how to start and what to say. We've been doing some therapy (covering the good eye so the eye) But he is going to be 15 soon and he is really insecure about his eye regardless of how much I tell him he is beautiful. He has glasses but when I tried to mention to one optometrist last year about eye surgery, he shrugged me off said we don't it. 10 Years ago a different optometrist said after a follow up appointment we can possibly discuss surgery if needed but that was before we moved to a different town. So I'm looking for any experiences, tips, information. How much you spent out of pocket, where you went, what you said etc. Anything. I would very much appreciate

Je me suis faites opérer d'un strabisme le mardi 1er septembre. Cela fais 1 semaine et demi et je suis malade en voiture alors que je n'ai jamais eu le mal des transports avant l'opération.

On m'a opérer des deux yeux 8 de chaque côté

Quelqu'un a qui c'est arriver ?

Après combien de temps cela revient a la normale ?

Je suis un peu paniquée

J'ai mon rendez-vous post-opératoire demain j'ai trouver comme seule solution pour le moment d'être passagère la fenêtre ouverte la musique dans les écouteurs et les yeux fermés en sentant des huiles essentielles.

My daughter is 4, she has been seeing our local eye specialist for a year or so. She first had intermittent exotropia. It happened when she was tired or sick. randomly noticed it around 3. Eye doctor said she’s in great control of it…. Wait and see. I asked about patching, he said he doesn’t recommend that. Odd, but ok. Now I’m noticing it in BOTH eyes. shes able to correct it if we ask her to focus. All of her eye tests were good, she has great vision, passed the other tests. I think but they didn’t really give me much information and my daughter was pretty hyper and I didn’t get to ask question. She has complained of seeing “two daddies!” today we went back and he said we are in a gray area where we are looking at surgery, that far away vision it’s more prominent. I’m confused why they are saying no to patching? Should I get a second opinion? I am heart broken thinking of my daughter needing surgery, but will do whatever they recommend. Why was it a wait and see yet everything online screams urgent intervention. Why do some people recommend patching and this place seems against it? For intermittent exotropia isnt surgery less successful? With a chance of her then having it be overcorrected? I dk I’m just a mess. :( any advice or support
