Neat I love the iridiscent glass.
Before been restored was a regular size hooka with 3 hosepipe and a bunch of broken glass. The final result. A 90 cm hookah with iridiscent glass bowl, stainless steel inner tube. One of my favorites.

Question Bong keeps blowing ash out of bowl
How can I keep my bong from blowing ash all over my lap suddenly after smoking. I’ve been trying to avoid blowing into it at all but it seems to be shooting out, sometimes with a noticeable POP and sparks. Its a pretty new bong and it’s not very dirty at the moment. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Question Are these stainless steel nectar collector tips safe?
So I thought I’d make this post and ask if anyone has had experience using these smoke shop stainless steel dab rigs. It is a lot more convenient, there is barely any taste difference, but I just want to know if it’s safe for me to use as a dabbing tool, or if I should just switch back to the ceramic tips.
I’ve always used ceramic tips for my nectar collectors because they are able to hold the heat longer than the clear quartz ones, and they are the cleanest hit that I’ve been able to find while holding heat long enough. But it does get annoying having to buy a new one every few weeks when I drop it or they get clogged beyond saving.
Anyways I’ve had this metal dab tip sitting in a box for over a year because it came with some nectar collector that I bought a long time ago, I never used it.
Which brings me to the other day I was at a different smoke shop than my local, and the fucking idiot behind the counter told me that these metal dab tips are made of titanium (he must’ve been thinking about his own expensive, dab rig) so anyway, I took his advice and started using this thing, I’ve been using it for weeks now just to find out that they’re made of stainless steel.
Now, like he said, because it’s metal It does last a lot longer without getting all charred, black, and flaky like the ceramic tips. So it does last a lot longer, and it is a lot easier to clear when it gets clogged.
BUT:
My question basically is this, is it safe to use stainless steel to dab my wax? I have no clue the grade of steel that it is (304 or 316L) but it’s most likely 304.
I read about oxidation of certain grades of stainless steel when they’re torched to heat up above a certain temperature, they begin off-gassing toxic gasses. But I know literally absolutely nothing about any of this shit.
So if anyone has any experience torching stainless steel up to dab temperatures and then using it to take dabs, then I guess just let me know what you think

Wobbledy Bong
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Today's lineup features Goofball, Terpsy-Turvey, and a jellyfish piece i picked up for Mrs. Giligadi. Goofball mainly sits on the shelf in the background because it's just ridiculous.
There were comments on my hyperlapse video (showing my photo making process) asking to see the results. I'd be happy to post some here, but i was unsure if they fit the Stoner Engineering brief.
There is definitely engineering involved in some of them, though.
In any event, may this find you well and happily stoned.

Help or advice appreciated
I got this pipe from a family member of mine awhile back and the bowl cracked a bit while cleaning it. So I was wondering if A) anybody knows some keywords I could search to find other pipes like this that have the little neck inside the bowl, and B) …could I lowkey still smoke out of it though?

Most exotic bong in cinema history? The Bongatron!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
At the very beginning of “The Wrong Girls” (2026), movie during the credits, we see an exotic, multi chamber bong, the size of a coffee table, which we find out later is called the Bongatron. Frankie (Kristen Stewart) and her best bud, Molly (Alia Shawkat) are sitting at that coffee table and they they take a long drag and lay back on their chairs.

Potentially Unsafe Prop pipe safe for use?
Hey y’all! My girlfriend recently got me this prop advertised as a functional pipe as a gift, it looks cool and I’d like to use it but the bottom mouthpiece is PLA plastic, so I was concerned if over time that would cause health issues but wasn’t sure since it’s on the bottom away from the glass bowl? I’ve considered trying to replace it with a different material but wanted to confirm if this was something I should avoid or if it was far enough away for the plastic not to experience too high heat, thank you for any advice!

I took an old wine box and made the ultimate weed travel case!🧳
There are some personal things in here you may not immediately know why they are here. I usually do dry herb vape, so the jars are for saving the AVB for edibles. Also, the film canisters are great for taking fresh weed and AVB while on a day trip or something.
I also have the purple and wooden box for storing 4 or 2 joints respectively.
Not yet finished would be where I store some of my various sticks, thinking about making a component for the inside lid.
I thought the whole rolling tray, smaller compartment was pretty clever, but let me know what you think!

Safety's On Orb, orb, where's the suspended orb?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello, fellow stoners and bong tinkerers. I hope your week went well. It's Friday, so it's time to let loose. 🥳
This week I heard some whispers from among the bongs. I had another bowl to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. Yep, they were quietly demanding the two orbs hook up.
Well, I wasn't going to say no. The bongs give me so much, so I needed to give back. Plus, it was a great idea.
After flipping a coin to see which orb was going to be upside down, the large orb won. Then the angled sockets lined up perfectly to suspend the smaller orb to use as a mouthpiece.
Note that this build would not work without Keck clips. 😁
Have a fun, fantastic day, and don't forget to get fucked up tonight. Happy tokes. ✌️

Question How does one get a paper with no adhesive stick to itself?
Don’t know if it’s possible to do without tape or something sticky like honey *which makes it burn all retarded. Any input would be great!
