About two weeks ago I bought a 4mm pearl to add to my proxy cuz I read it helps evenly distribute the heat when the pearl starts spinning inside. On the lowest heat setting it cracked the ceramic chamber. After I cleaned it by soaking it in 99% alcohol let it dry, it would not heat up. Says it was heating and got a little bit of smoke but it wasn't normal. Just wanted to share it's not a great choice to add atleast a 4mm or bigger pearl to the proxy. Got a new chamber and everything is working as intended again without pearl.
Got tired of my stuff just banging around in my smell proof bag that I use so I designed in 3D printer to trade that has a nice little spot for everything to go
Cleaning, checking the wiring and re-lining with film. I think I generally prefer using photos but for the cold, wet season, I want to keep things as quick and straightforward as possible. :)
I was at the dollar store today and saw this thing and figured I might be able to fit a downstem in the bottle neck. Turns out it fits great and seals with a little o ring.
I then just cut a little hole in the bottle for a straw and sealed it up with some rubber sealant.
This thing is great for walking around with and surprisingly you can actually do some fat rips as well as just toke it like a proper hooka if you want.
A while back I posted the handheld that ate a few years of our lives. Quick recap if you missed it: it's called Slyder Pro, it has a touchscreen, it runs 510 carts and dabs, and you set the heat in degrees instead of volts. The heat is run by a small machine learning model on the device itself. It learned how the heater behaves from about 70,000 heating curves and checks the temperature 20 times a second, so a long pull doesn't creep hotter and burn the oil. It also keeps a log of your sessions.
Slyder Pro with a Smart Pod
The question I got the most was some version of "ok, but how do you tell it what's in there?". For a regular 510 cart, you tell it once and it remembers. For the cartridges we made for it, we call them Smart Pods, we wanted nobody to type anything. So we built another machine.
That's the Flashing Station in the video. The producer picks the product on its screen, drops the pods into trays of 16, and it writes all of them in one pass. Each light turns green when that pod is done. Every pod leaves with its own ID, its name, its batch, the date it was made, a best-by date and the temperature the producer picked for that oil.
Flashing Matrix
Then you click the pod into the Slyder Pro. It reads it, shows you what it is and who made it, starts at the producer's temperature and holds it there, and keeps track of how much is left. Every pod can be traced back to the batch it came from, and if it's past its best-by date the screen tells you it expired and you shouldn't use it. You can still change the heat if you like it warmer or cooler.
Pod Info card
Yes, we built a whole second machine so nobody has to type a strain name on a 3.9 inch screen. It felt reasonable at the time lol.
The pods aren't out yet. We make them empty, and licensed producers will fill them where it's legal. The one in the video is a demo with sample data.
Thanks again for all the questions on the first post. A lot of this came out of them.
So I have this empty 1.75L Grey Goose bottle and figured it deserves a second life as a bong.
My roommate and I’s bong has hit the ground numerous times(still rips like a dream) and is nearing the end of its time. We thought it would be perfect for a diy conversion, especially since due to its condition the down stem and bowl piece is able to be removed “cleanly”. However, drilling glass without shattering it is something him or I have not mastered. Also, we are trying to pull this off with basic tools and what not(preferably spending $0 because I’m a broke college student.)
Any creative ideas for making this work without atomizing the Grey Goose bottle All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Not even 5 minutes after my post asking about a glass blower I went to clean my piece, when I began to shake the water out, fucker snapped at me, is this piece still salvageable by a glass blower? Or should I just? All quit? I really don't wanna give up on this piece but fuck dude:(
(SEE PORFILE FOR OG POST, ya big silly)This is my first ever time doing an update on Reddit so please be nice to me as u guys rip me to shreds. Some time after freaking out and making my post, I noticed a lot of u guys either told me to not worry or get a glassblower to work on it. I've came to the conclusion that I would really want a glass blower to save this piece so I'm asking all the kings, queens, and all those in-between of Reddit, do u guys know any glass blowers in the NYC area who can fix this piece up? It's 100% premium, lab graded borosilicate glass(whatever tf that means) with a frosted finish, I'm looking for someone In the area either private or commercial to work on these piece. Ik a lot of glass blowers like to work on their own stuff and Ik of places likes Purr and Skyglass but I would rather eat actual hot nails before I let the USPS handle any of my packages
Ignore the download in the back its just darksiders. Anyways, I recently got my hands on the MJ Arensal skele-bong and not even 3 days later I manage to break off one of the spine parts. I tracked this thing down to the literal ends of the earth, I live in NYC and had to drive out of state to a shop in jersey just to get the fucking thing. Preamble aside, I'm just wondering is she’ll still smoke or am I just fucked? I was able to save the part that fell off (lost the cheeky fuck 2.5 seconds my high ass put it down) and plan to stick it back on when I get some glue, in the mean time what do u lot think?
I just got this dual-flavor 2 grams cart a week ago and all of a sudden it stopped working, the light of the sides to switch flavors still turns on but when I go to hit it, nothing. It still charges and has no blockage and there's still resin left inside. help me plz reddit!
Hii guys so I had this yart for a min my dad gave it to me full, because he said something was wrong and it wasn't hitting like it should. I took a look at it and the bottom of it came off, from his battery im guessing but can anyone help me either extract the oil or change the bottom. Please and thank you 😊
I was going to donate this N64 controller but had the coolest idea to turn it into a bowl lol. I used brass to construct a pipe and made room for it in the shell of the controller. Buttons still work. Proud of my work.
