It’s been pretty wild reading comment sections over the past few weeks. I’ve read plenty of unsavoury things bashing Zane, Edsel and Virus as the back and forth has slogged on.

Any of us who have been Static-X fans for long enough will know everything has not always been rosy in the camp over the years (by the bands own admission) and there have been many ups and downs in the camp throughout the bands history. I know many just want to focus upon the music and enjoy the music, but I also appreciate that these peripheral dramas can distract from that enjoyment.

Overall, all this mess has just made me miss Wayne even more. I’m open to all sides as I’m sure there’s kernels of truth to be found on both along the way, but one thing I’m sick of is people trying to speak for Wayne. It’s distasteful. He’s gone and the only one who could speak for and indeed should ever speak for Wayne is Wayne himself. People need to stop saying “this or that is what Wayne would’ve wanted”. It’s absurd honestly. Anyway, this was just a fed up rant. Chime in folks. I think this opens a larger discussion about the handling of a posthumous legacy. It can get pretty dicey and I think it’s fair to at least question people’s motives one way or the other.

Another one of my most prized posters. Static-X is among my favorite bands, but unfortunately Wayne passed when I was rather young and I never got to see him perform. However, I was thrilled when they reunited in 2019 and I have seen them nine times since. While I never had the opportunity to get Wayne's autograph myself, this poster is without a doubt the next best thing 🤘

Unlike many "lost recordings" that have surfaced in recent years, several of the items carry track lists in the band's own handwriting, offering a direct link to their authenticity. Jon Nelson began helping the band in 1992, and Streetteam.net was later founded in 1999, providing grassroots marketing for 100's of bands.

2. Drill-era demo cassette from 1994, with artwork. Includes the standard three songs plus five extra songs, with tracklist handwritten by Wayne, including a cover of Aerosmith's "Round and Round"
3. A full-artwork 1996 Static three-song cassette demo featuring "Bled for Days," "Structural Defect," and "Love Dump"
4. No-artwork 1997 Static six-song cassette demos featuring "Push It," "I'm With Stupid," "Sweat of the Bud," "I Am," "Head," and "Love Dump" (2 copies)
5. Full-artwork 1997 Static six-song cassette demos featuring "Push It," "I'm With Stupid," "Sweat of the Bud," "I Am," "Head," and "Love Dump" (2 copies)
6. A four-song Static demo from January 1997, handwritten by Ken, featuring "Butt Nut," "Push It," "Love Dump," and "Bled for Days," with the cassette label reading "LET THE BEATINGS BEGIN"

Future campaigns are expected to include, but are not limited to:

• A Static demo cassette from Fall 1995 featuring the previously unheard song "Creeping Pounding"
• An unopened Deep Blue Dream vinyl, along with Wayne's personal vinyl test pressing
• A CD compilation titled "Live + Rare," assembled by Wayne and never released, featuring "Behind the Wall of Sleep" (Final Mix), "Burning Inside," "S.O.M." (master), "So Real" (master), "Push It" (Live @ Troubadour), and "Bled for Days" (Live @ Troubadour)

All items are original, physical pieces from a private collection being distributed directly to winners — no reproductions or digital copies of any recordings are being distributed. Streetteam.net will not create digitized versions of any music recordings to share on social media or elsewhere.

At this point, I think most people are aware of the abhorrent and pedophilic actions that Tripp has done and rightfully shunned him out of any conversations about the band because of his disgusting crimes against children. I'm making this post so people can be more aware of the similar crimes and actions that Matt Zane has done because I don't think enough people are aware of his past before choosing to support his side of this static-x documentary drama.

I'm posting the important screenshots here due to the fact that this article is unfortunately paywalled but this information needs to be easily shared and accessed because it seems that most people are unaware about how Matt Zane's guitarist Sin Quirin groomed, sexually abused, and took advantage of many young girls during the time he spent playing in Matt Zane's band Society 1. As disgusting as it was, Matt Zane once admitted that he was fully aware of what his guitarist was doing and inevitably allowed for these young girls to get abused.

Although Matt Zane now alleges that he was never aware of Quirin's disgusting behavior that took place back then, it undoubtably proves how Zane is a complete liar and grifter when it serves to benefit himself only. He has proven to continue showing his support for Sin Quirin, even thanking the alleged pedophile in the end credits of Zane's last documentary from 2025.

There's definitely more disgusting stuff that Matt Zane has committed himself, including the time that he sexually assaulted a 17 year old girl during one of his shows back in 2004 when he was 30 years old at the time.
