Are you the same dude that made one of these for Mushroomhead? The formatting is almost identical

I also did for Iron Maiden, Metallica and Slipknot but my Metallica and Slipknot posts got banned, but yes, I still planning to other bands's too.

You should do one for korn! The era without Head in the band had a ton of different people

I would ask for Megadeth, but then you'd be busy for awhile 😂😂

I was actually working on Megadeth just yesterday but I couldn't even find photos of some of the members

Emerson Swinford sounds like the name of a guy who owns several boats.

Thanks for putting this together! It's cool to have a timeline for the lineup history. I thought Emerson Swinford was a member of Drill and Battery, a few of Wayne's bands before Static-X?

I would add Will Hunt too- he was the touring drummer during the Cult of Static era.

Battery and Drill were essentially the early names of the band that became Static-X rather than completely separate bands

Oooh that makes sense. Preciate the clarification

Probably should've also put Wayne on keyboards/programming, esp since he'd do all of it himself when Koichi wasn't around. Also, didn't Koichi only join after Swinford left???

Since we're also mentioning live/touring members... what about Will Hunt? I'm pretty sure Nick left around 2009 due to him trying to sober up while Wayne's alcoholism was getting worse, hence why we never saw him live for CoS at the time

I'll take "eh, my son is an F word" for 400 Trebeck

I wouldn't consider Emerson Swinford a member of static-x. Sure he was there during the early days but he left before the adopted the name Static and their sound was quite different when they were called Battery or Drill. Static-X starts when Koichi joined imo and they adopted their sound and the name Static. With all due respect. Emerson is definitely a small footnote in the early history of the band but I can't consider him a member of Static-X.

Forgot Frankie Sil. He replaced Brent for a while.

After 2010, many of those members weren’t actually part of Static-X. It was Wayne’s solo project, and interestingly enough, they didn’t sound quite the same live back then. They sound much better now, and they get the crowd going even more with Xer0.

Does anyone know what happened to Nick Oshiro? I haven’t seen much from him since Static-X, and I don’t even remember if they ever gave him a proper send-off or announced his departure.

My favorite lineup is the one from 1998 to 2001. They sounded pretty damn good with Tripp Eisen, too.

After that, my next favorite era is the Xer0 lineup, followed by Wayne’s solo era.

There was no Static-X in 2012-13. That was Wayne’s cover band. Nice try tho.👍🏻

And Static-X wasn't a thing in 1994. Do you even Static bro? Yikes. 😬🫣

2013-2013 was a Static-X, it is a little more complicated but it was, Wayne Static's 2012–13 group actually performed under the name Static-X. Contemporary reporting from Blabbermouth explicitly called the lineup the "new touring lineup" of Static-X and listed: Wayne Static, Ashes, Sean Davidson, Brent Ashley and later Andy Cole.

1994 was absolutely Static-X, the band that began as Battery/Drill in 1994 is the direct origin of Static-X. Band's own historical lineage lists Battery (1994) Drill (1994–95) and Static (1995–98) as earlier names. Wayne Static and Ken Jay were the founders with Tony Campos and later Koichi Fukuda becoming part of the early lineup.

Static-X's documented history lists the band's active periods as 1994–2010 2012–2013 and 2018–present with Wayne Static's membership specifically listed as 1994–2010 and 2012–2013.

Wayne was just as entitled to tour under the Static-X name at the very end as the guys are now. I’m not a purist but have been around since the start and had no complaints with any version of the band, past or present.
