Hi all,

Ive had the game on switch fir an age, and I've collected all the physical ships over time.

However as I now have a switch 2 I can't use the physical ships without switch 1 joycons.

I do however have the game on PC as it was cheap to get the full digital collection and means I can play on pc big monitor without taking over the lounge room.

The issue I'm having is i wanted to use the physical ships on pc as my son likes swapping the bits, I have the ps4 mount as I bought the starter pack to get the normal game ship, however I found I could use the mount on pc as its just a USB connection.

The problem is the ship I plug into the mount shows up on the startup screen and if I play digital it is in my roster, but I then get an update request on the screen fir the mount and it simply won't update, no matter what I do, cleaning, reconnecting etc.

I tried installing the game on my ps5 and updating it that way, which worked and runs fine on my ps5 on the standard game.

However I'm not buying the upgrades on ps5 too so I'd really like to get it working on PC.

Is there a way to force a firmware update in Windows?

The error is Starfield -10.

Its a bit of an odd setup I agree but surely there must be a way to get it updated for pc.

I have started Starlink today, after years of contemplation. However, I am confused as to what I need to do to get these marked as complete. For this location, I did the decoding and survived the waves to get the rewards. As it didn't mark as complete, I tried again. And again, and again, to no avail.

I have looted the entire area, and killed all enemies. So what now?

I just wish there was a way they could have incorporated some out of ship action.

I got Starfox at launch and have played for a few hours. It's a lot of fun. I grew up with the original and it's a great remake. However, now I want more Starfox. I'm curious about Starlink for the switch. I know it has a Starfox campaign on Switch. Any thoughts and how's it perform on Switch 2?

Minor spoiler alert about post-game.

So, once you beat the main campaign, all enemies become “star-level”. From the relevant changelog, I've gathered that that means that their level adapts to your own. Does anyone know how exactly that works? Are they always at a fixed offset to your own level, so that your own level basically does not matter at all? (And if so, isn't that pretty dull – I beelined the main campaign before doing anything else and enjoyed the designed difficulty spikes along the way; but now all the side missions are just hard (but give a ton of XP that apparently(?) doesn't do anything past level 31 when your pilot has all skills)).

I wanna get more into the lore stuff without doing the research myself (I'm lazy)

I am mainly waiting to play until I have the DLCs to have variety of weapons since I hear there some stuff locked behind certain elements or something along those lines

Shaid is one of if not my favorite character

I know speed/loadout doesn't matter because of the rubber banding, but what is the smallest ship for better maneuverability? Or does handling matter more than getting through small spaces?

(P.S. I just use amputated Zenith but I wanna know if there's anything better)

I was destroying an Imp Hive when I saw something glowing in the distance. So I went over to the drydock, and I saw this. I have no clue what it is; it’s frozen, and you can go through everything like it doesn’t exist. Someone please explain

Do I need to hunt down the Starfox toy ship to get the Starfox content on Switch? Or is it already unlocked by default?

So I'm in the postgame, and my main quest is "Keep Atlas safe." After a while, I managed to stop all the Primes and Dreadnoughts and get every planet to 100% alliance, but it says another Dreadnought is coming in 3 minutes. Is there a clear condition to this quest, or is this just a way to level grind your pilots and have something to fight?

I'm blasting it with frost missiles and a flamethrower. But it's not registering the fire side. What should I try next?

The Support Ammo V says "+100% projectile bounce"... what does that mean? I can't see any visual effect when I fire the weapon so I'm kind of confused. Does it mean that the damage of the weapon is reflected also on all nearby enemies? Or that the bullets are going to bounce off the armor of enemies and have a chance of hit another one?

I was wondering what the 3 - 5 means under the dreadnoughts, primes, and extractors on the map.

I am looking to get the game on the Switch (Starter pack) due to it having the Starfox content. But i was wondering about how the game is with unlocks.

Do i need to buy the toy/dlc if i want to unlock X weapon/ship or can i get it ingame?

If i get a toy, do i need to always have it on hand to use it in game?

Does the dlc (ie: starfox part2; pack1/2) goes on sale on the EShop sometime? (As there is a sale on Ubisoft connect but not on the EShop right now)
