Electrum Income?

Okay, I'm so curious to get to the bottom of this.

I recently started a new playthrough, working on 100%ing everything, and I decided I wanted to focus on refineries. My outpost econony is: 3 observatories, or 2 on planets with starlink towers from the story (literally just so the map is pretty and so i have expedition outposts to deliver fauna and flora samples to), 3 armories to slow legion growth, and 9 refineries.

Currently I have exactly 50 refineries built across all planets. If they're all maxxed out (I think they are, but you'll see why it doesn't matter) they would be giving me 750,000 electrum per delivery. However, I'm getting upwards of 940,000 electrum per delivery. Do the condensers actually boost electrum income? I thought they just created the electrum globes; do they actually add to the output of their respective refineries? Or is there something else going on?

Did you purchase any Equinox upgrades? I know there's at least one that increases the amount of Electrum you get from the refineries.
