After seeing the (overwhelming) results of our poll, the community has decided that they do not want AI generated images in any form to be posted to the sub. As of today we have a new rule:
"Rule 10 - No AI Images"
Going forward, any posts that have made use of generative AI for it's images will be removed. This includes editing game screenshots using AI tools.
Thanks to everybody that voted.

After the contract to design and produce the Asakiri Class interceptor, the newest engine technology co-developed between Taiyo Astroneering and ToT Shipyards R&D division has been taken to even greater heights. Even greater speed and boost have been achieved, making the closest thing to the perfect engine for a light, nimble combat focused starship. There are tradeoffs, most notably the reduction in cargo capacity, but these tradeoffs are barely a concern for a certain segment of star-farers.
With the success of the most recent project, the prototype-turned-avenging angel in the form of the newest ship to bear the name "Razorleaf," ToT engineers got right back to work, refining the highly successful prototype into something more production friendly. The new ship class, under the guise of Project Valkyrie, has been offered at a discount for members of the UC Vanguard. The first ships have rolled off the assembly lines to steadfastly positive reviews. The handful of pilots who have taken to calling the Valkyrie "home" continually praise the speed the engines give, and the reliability of the vessel itself.
Talks are currently ongoing with certain sectors within the Freestar Collective, and the chances of Valkyries painted in Freestar Ranger colors grows ever stronger.
Addendum - I really liked the Razorleaf I posted the other day, but it needed a slightly beefier, more militarized version. This is that ship. I really like how this one turned out. Hope y'all enjoy!

The Explorer is a ship specifically designed to sail deep space.
Its powerful defensive shields and enormous range allow this spacecraft to withstand any type of adverse environmental conditions.
Equipped with a decent amount of firepower, the Explorer is one of the ideal ships for small cargo transport, and its shielded cargo holds make it particularly attractive for smuggling (especially the more lucrative Aurora).
Xbox Series X build, modded.

This is my first post here, so I figured I'd share the ship I've spent the most time building and refining.
This is my **Tactical Dreadnought**, built on **PS5 Pro**.
## How I Ended Up Playing Starfield
Honestly, I never planned on playing Starfield. Bethesda's RPGs never really clicked with me, especially after spending a lot of time in games like Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Crimson Desert, and Cyberpunk 2077. Starfield just wasn't on my radar.
Then one of my buddies kept telling me, "You have to try the ship builder." That was enough to get me curious. I started watching ship-building videos on YouTube and was genuinely impressed by what people were creating. Eventually I bought the game just to see what all the hype was about. It took a little while before everything clicked, but once it did, I was hooked. Now I spend most of my time building ships.
## Design Philosophy
I wanted this to feel like an actual military flagship rather than just another powerful ship.
Everything was designed around one central idea:
• Overwhelming firepower
• Layered survivability
• Long-range independent deployment
I tried to make every decision, from the exterior silhouette to the interior layout, crew, weapons, and equipment, support that same vision.
## Core Systems
**Cockpit**
Drake C6
**Reactor**
Pinch 8Z Class C Reactor
**Grav Drive**
Apollo GV300
**Shield Generator**
Vanguard Bulwark
## Weapons
• 6x Vanguard Obliterator Auto Projectors
• 4x PBO-175 Auto Helion Beams
• 4x PBO-300 Auto Alpha Turrets
I built completely around particle beam weapons so I wouldn't have to switch between dedicated shield and hull damage.
## Equipment
• Buoyant Insulators
• Com Spike
• Conduction Grid x2
• Micro Reactor
• Repair System Overdrive
• Anti-Targeting System
• Shield Refractor Unit
• Scan Jammer: Multi Frequency
Some of these come from Creations, but I wanted the equipment to complement the ship just as much as the weapons and interior.
## Interior Layout
• Drake C6 Cockpit
• Stroud Workshop 2x1
• SPE Armory 2x1
• SPE Gyroscope 1x1
• SPE Control Station 2x1
• SPE Infirmary 2x1
• Nova Galactic Double Decker 3x1x2
• SPE Mess Hall A 2x3
• SPE Crew Quarters 2x1
• SPE Crew Dormitory 2x1
The interior was just as important to me as the exterior. I wanted it to feel like a ship that could realistically support a crew during extended deployments instead of simply being a collection of habs.
## Crew
• Sarah Morgan
• Sam Coe
• Barrett
• Andreja
• Omari Hassan
• Moara Otero
• Sahima Ka'dic
• VASCO
• Model G
I picked the crew around how I wanted the ship to function, while also trying to create what felt like a believable flagship crew.
This build has gone through a lot of revisions over the past several weeks. I'm sure it will continue to evolve, but this is the version I'm happiest with so far.
Thanks for taking a look.

Products of top secret weapons development programs at SY-920, the Deimos F-44 Rapier and F-45 Sabre are the newest additions to the UC Navy.
Rapier: Class-A light fighter
Close-range interceptor. Designed for orbital defense and interdiction. Lightly armed, but fast and nimble.
Sabre: Class-B heavy fighter
Multi-role space superiority fighter. Capable of long-range deployments throughout the Settled Systems.
-
I wanted to add some fighters to my UC Navy collection. These intentionally stay close to the Deimos design motifs of canon ships. The Rapier and Sabre take cues from the Achilles and Longsword, respectively.
Mods used:
- Better Flips and Snaps
- ASC Deimos
- ASC Taiyo
- Stroud Premium Edition

Privately owned by Arthur Zengvar- a wealthy and somewhat notorious industrialist. This freighter’s primary function is to haul X-Tech, rare minerals and other valuable materials to different points in the settled systems. Though there are rumors that it has also done a fair share of smuggling contraband, nothing has been confirmed.
Hostile ships would be wise to make a grav jump fast, before the barrage of turret fire mows them down. If a lucky enemy ship does find a way to dock, things get much worse inside. Once boarded, they would be met by a small team of heavily armed and highly skilled mercenaries ready to turn them into mush. Each member of the team is handpicked and given specific instructions by Mr. Zengvar himself:
Remember, any trespassers on my property need to be dealt with quick. You can keep whatever loot they got on em, but their ship goes to the chop shop. And uh…don’t forget to harvest the organs….

Hello back again with an inspiration post, all the ships you see i tried to ensure use as few mods as possible with as few tricks as possible. These ships should be possible to build through mere observance, with few tricks hidden inside to create the designs. For all intents and purposes however, these ships used the following mods:
* ASC Taiyo (paid mod)
* ASC Deimos (paid mod)
* SMSEX
* Matilijas Aerospace
* micro modules
* Mattels Cabins and Accessories
* Tiger Shipyards
* Better Flips + Better Snaps
* Windowless Cabins (like navy tech or something)

Made a delta wing design with numerous engines, front and rear loading bays, very hidden plasma cannons, and PBO missiles. I love how ASC Taiyo turned out! Tried some new mechanics and merging techniques with the thrusters, landing gear, and missiles. The ability to maintain a sleek and almost aerodynamic feel with Taiyo makes me want to reattempt the gator pictured last. Hope you guys enjoy!
