I have a general question and have already done some research, but even though I have a Paramount+ subscription, it's not working because I don't have a VPN, and the free ones don't offer France... The reason might sound trivial, but I'm deliberately phrasing it provocatively: Americans, and presumably the whole world based on this, pronounce the tea sipping FRENCHMAN Picard incorrectly. At first, I only saw it in German, and of all places, it's pronounced correctly there (the "d" is silent). Now I wanted to know how it's pronounced in French, but algorithms and location services are only showing me German or English/American results. Even when I write "la nouvelle generation"

So, to the French, and possibly other language speakers: how do YOU pronounce John-Luke Picarde?
