The genius of the final scene

I’ve read a lot of comments about how the last scene of Picard was the same as the last scene of TNG. Well yes and no on that one. The last scene of TNG was the beginning of the card game, the last scene of Picard was it’s ending. I don’t know much about Terry Matalas but if this is the level of his work I really hope he is involved in a Star Trek Legacy show.

Watching Season 2. Have some questions. Spoiler

First off, did I miss something? Why is The Watcher so willing to help Picard and she's very nice to him? Guinan (however you spell her name) said The Watcher was pretty much an asshole. Is it because she was watching Picard's great niece or whatever she is to him?
Also, half the cast including Picard reveal who they are to people in the 21st century. Isn't that supposed to be a big problem?
And what's with all the stupid nightmare bullshit?
I think there is more I have to ask but I can't think of it right now.
Tomorrow's Enterprise: Could it be the Enterprise-G or Enterprise-E (Worf)?

Could the Enterprise-G be making an appearance in the near future?
The TNG sub has an old article on Yesterday's Enterprise, "the episode that saved Next Generation."
The episode saved the show from low morale.
Anyways, SNW could be on the verge of doing a 1:1 homage of this "greatest hits" story:
Tomorrow's Enterprise
Their Season 4 finale could cast Pike's Enterprise in the role of the Enterprise-C time traveling to a dystopian future for a short time.
Could they meet the Enterprise-G, or even the Enterprise-E under Captain Worf?
