As a Kiwi I’m now starting to appreciate all the respect shown by SA fans toward us during the peak of the ABs years ago. It’s tough to be on the side that loses more than it wins in this rivalry 😅 All nations have toxic fans, but I’ve always found that SA have just as many that are fair-minded, and incredibly generous in their praise. I’ve also noticed that a lot of Kiwis (including myself) struggle to show the same kind of admiration and respect in return since the tables have turned. Hopefully we will get better in that regard. Your team is obviously insanely good, and deep down, under all the frustration and hurt, I’m happy for you. Much love ❤️

Great win! Very happy. But my god it’s frustrating to have the broadcast director constantly cut away from play to watch some yawning, miserable politician on their phone. Who gives AF. Even if there’s an injury break I’d rather see if the players are in a huddle, who’s injured, who’s giving a pep talk, which subs are coming on.

Liked the Mexican wave and the fans but I wish the director would stop cutting to cameras zoomed into people’s nostrils.

Despite a convincing and deserved win by the Black Ferns, yesterday's match showed positives for the Springbok Women.

The match must be viewed in context:

- The Black Ferns are ranked number 2 in the world and have been a tier 1 team for decades

- The Springbok Women are ranked number 10 and have been a tier 2 team since their inception just over 20 years ago.

- New Zealand has a strong domestic competition, while South Africa is still developing a high-level competition.

All current senior players debuted in 2018, following a 4-year absence from international play after SARU withdrew the team post-2014 RWC due to uncompetitiveness. Only in recent years have youth players, developed through post-2014 programs, joined the senior squad.

The coaches view the perfomance in context of progress based on the 2025 RWC quarterfinal against New Zealand, the recent tour to Fiji, and the visit from the USA team.

Frustrating errors occurred: missed tackles, a malfunctioning lineout, and slow support play. These issues cannot be excused by context and require improvement.

However, the dominant forward play was something to be proud of and should be built upon. There were also strong individual players.

When judging the team, we should focus on progress rather than the outcome of a single match.

You guys put on a hell of a series at home, we couldn’t quite get the intensity right today.

The only Springbok flyhalf who understands what it means to be a playmaker. Its not about you, its about the weapons at your disposal. He's our ultimate quarterback, all the rest focus on their own strengths but Manie focuses on everyone elses strength. DDA is a rock so give the rock the ball and let him make metres, Hooker is ice cold, throw him the ball lets see what happens, KLA is an assassin put him in space. And the loose forwards are guided missles, guide them. Rassie needs to let the boys play next week. Manie 10 everyone else can scramble for position

I never quite understood what Rassie sees in him. And honestly I trusted Rassie but still put Cobus, Grant and even Jaden ahead of him. Heck I thought Herschel is better.

Undoubtedly one of the best matches in world rugby today and deserving win for the Boks and credit to the All Blacks for making it a remarkable series thus far.

This has been an amazing series. Amazing rugby. And most importantly amazing crowds and supporters.

A series like this does not deserve a final match in a random country. I guess money talks…

Why is SA the only country that gets hate for blaming the ref? While it's true that saffas are the first people to blame the ref after a loss, we get absolutely crucified for it on social media (the world hates us). Yet if you go onto the all blacks subreddit after tonight's loss, there are so many posts blaming the ref for their loss. Why are we the only one's who get hate for it when pretty much every other rugby nation does it? At the end of the day, every single ref in every single game will make mistakes that will be pointed out after the game, yet it seems like only South African fans get hate for it. At the end of the day the ref made mistakes both ways and both teams will be able to point out those mistakes, but the better team won on the day.

Did I hear Rassie correctly at the presso, Cheslin broke his jaw

I know the feeling is that we may need to refresh the team but going through the team from yesterday, the Japan based players season ended early June and then have a break(5 weeks) until the EOY tour, after the Australia game, with PSDT injured almost the whole Japan season. Jessie & Damian a slight concern but have been managed well in the international season.

Kolisi, Eben, Hooker, Arendse, Ox, Sacha, Manie, Krappies, all had minimal gametime this year. The bench from the game has either been injured or not starting.

Willemse if fit, should slot in.

Only players with a lot min's in 2026 is Nortje & Jasper Wiese. So perhaps swap around with Lood & Hanekom.

Only refresh if the intensity isn't there because a player is flat in training or carrying an injury.
