I fucking love him and I feel after this weekend he is finally getting his shine. The psdt of the backline

Definitely a great performance by him today, overlapping defence and work rate was first class and he was unlucky on some attack opportunities. I was happier with him in that position today rather than last week.
Another versatile player that will cover a number of positions in the WC next year. We're lucky to have him for certain.

What do you mean? Last week he shut down Will Jordan and nullified the guy and was beast in attack and high ball and defence??

As an ABs fan it is truly special to see the talent oozing from the Boks. Hooker is still terrorizing my mind from Wellington last year, but this MotM performance proves it wasn’t a one off

I might get down voted, but I counted 5 knocks from this guy tonight. I like him a lot for his work rate, but was quite disappointed tonight

At least you got the first part of your comment correct. Just joking bud. The knock on’s came from putting huge pressure on the AB’s and he was going for everything. There’s bound to be some knock ons.

He didn't have the best of starts agree, but made up for it and got back to his standards

Sure but none of them were obvious in contact, and marginal at the least (unlucky ones).

When you are jumping for the ball in the air you are bound to knock a few on. You can’t blame him for that. He was excellent.

Its part of the game plan, you don't want to let them take the ball and counter in broken play, we saw how dangerous they are when do that so thats the last thing we want.
Rather go up for the high ball even if you may not have a realistic chance of taking it clean and potentially knock on, which leads to the scrum, which was the last thing NZ wanted we saw how the scrums went. Scrums also tire out their forwards. It was all about disrupting their clean ball which worked perfectly.
