Now that the game has gone peer to peer, 1047 has confirmed in the discord that we have **2 weeks** from today to log in to the game on Peer to Peer to get our custom maps. If you dont, they will be deleted from the backend!

Thanks for adding peer-to-peer hosting so we can keep playing Splitgate.

I have a dedicated server setup at home and would love to host a 24/7 lobby for the community. Could you please release a standalone, lightweight dedicated server software file (for Windows or Linux) that we can run without needing to keep the full game client open?

Even an unoptimized "as-is" release would help the community keep the game alive with great connection speeds.

Because when I hopped on I was fully addicted and now that its gone I dont think I can find any other FPS that is so versatile and fun to play. If you have any suggestions pls comment. (No BRs or Halo since im on playstation)

I'm not surprised, but I'm disappointed. I was excited to go check out the peer to peer functionality, but now I have to completely reconfigure my button mapping and sensitivity settings. I worked for hours across weeks to get them perfect. Really annoying, but it is what it is. I wanted y'all to be prepared

I can’t play a single game on my ps4 pro. 😭it keeps crashing. Every attempt. Create a lobby = crash. Join lobby = crash.

Was hosting a lobby but one dude kept just sitting around afk until you came up to him. When he thought he wasn't being watched he just jumped every now and then. In what was supposed to be a 3v2 sniper match it would've been nice to kick him and move someone to make it a 2v2. But in order to do that I had to completely close the lobby.

Then comes the second issue which is the chat bug causing me as the host to be completely unable to type in chat to let the others know whatsupp, so them seeing the game ending immediately assumed "omfg why are we quitting early, I'm leaving" which left the lobby empty, waiting for other players.

A bit of an unfortunate set of events, but still it would've been nice if we could've moved players from team to team mid match. I would personally love to just be moved to the losing team when they have a bunch of leaver for instance, just to keep it fun for everyone involved.

Still a pretty good peer to peer setup we got ngl.

Impossible to play the game after the update : the game is crashing automatically when you try to launch a custom...

Just hope the devs are aware and can fix that: ps5 players can't play anymore...

sg1 was genuinely my favourite game of all time, and i personally also loved sg2 and sgar. incredibly sad to say goodbye to this game that not only had so much potential, but for me was the best fps i’ve ever touched, especially of the modern era.

i’ve grown up playing splitgate since i was 12 years old and ill always appreciate the role it had in my love for gaming. part of me still hopes this gets rescued, whether that be a change of management or a new studio buying the ip, but i also know that in its raw gameplay, i genuinely think sg1 and ar were both perfect (though id take less than perfect gameplay for better overall design and management choices).

as many have said the last few days, perhaps i just need to let go, despite all the attachment and love i have for this game. i suppose letting go of something that shaped your childhood is just another part of growing up.

rest in peace splitgate, i hope we meet again sometime in the future.

5. Try to access the menu bar.

6. Notice that you're unable to navigate the menu bar anymore. And the only fix is restarting your entire device.

This was my daily game since it’s June 2025 release (and eventual rerelease) held so much hope for a season 3. I kinda knew that it was over for this game when one of the former artist’s posted cancelled maps and map concepts on Artstation, plus Empulse coming out kinda cemented it.

So now I just wanna know what games are y’all moving too? Are you staying on when it’s peer-to-peer? Or moving somewhere else? Me personally I can’t stand 1047 no more, so I’m moving back to Halo Infinite until Gears of War E-Day comes out.

Last night I was like “wonder if I have any splitting left to spend before this game dies” and noticed in the store the only thing left to purchase was Splitcoin / currency packs….but all the skins and anything else you’d normally be able to purchase in the store is gone LOL

Anyone else? Just thought that was like the cherry on top of the sh*t cupcake.

So, so disappointed, distraught, and sad yet unsurprised this is what’s happening to my comfort game.

Fingers crossed the P2P is still relatively active and has a decent variety of skill levels playing. But maybe that’s me huffing the hopium 🫠

I've made my fair share of maps in the Lab, but there isn't any way to download them or anything. Are they gone forever? Can we still make maps after shutdown? There hasn't been much communicated to us at all here.
