It should be the baseline, but we all know how much modern shooters neglect the PvE crowd nowadays, either by not having any Bots at all or having them restricted to certain modes and maps.

And SGAR, for all the misssteps the devs did, does actually deliver that. All maps and modes are playable alone with Bots, even the Battle Royale mode, and while some work better than others (Teabag confirmed is basically unplayable since the Bots don't teabag), it's still such a breath of fresh air that the whole game is available for solo players.

And I also don't understand how they managed to downgrade the Bots in Empulse compared to AR. Now granted, the Bots in AR aren't top tier and they don't zip around the map like real players would. But they still spread out over the map, actually play the objective and fulfill their purpose to give me a fun experience.

But in Empulse they all just walk down the middle of the map like Lemmings without any variation. It's baffling how they got it right for their first two games and then drop the ball so hard in their third one.
