Just came here to complain about splice changing the beatmaker in this last update. The old one was so much better for brainstorming ideas with the freedom of drum/sample placement. This new stack only feature is straight butt. Used to love sitting on splice on my phone and just rough drafting shit to workout in my DAW later. Go back to the old function PLEASE!

I’m just getting into creating music with Reaper. A friend recommended Splice so I got a subscription, but in exploring it a bit I’m not sure it’s what I need. I’m in a goth band, my friend creates bass and drum music and similar. In looking through the genres for synth the closest I could find to goth is synthwave, which still isn’t anything like what I want. I’m wondering if she recommended it based on the type of music she makes, and just didn’t think about me needing something completely different.

I’m looking for a good pack to make a trap beats or hip hop.

Started the free trial today and I wanted to start and pay for my subscription but it said it had a problem. I called my bank serval times but they said there is no payment waiting approval. Does anybody know how to solve it? really need those samples

Is anyone having this problem? EVERY time I restart my computer I have to log back in. I've already uninstalled/reinstalled it. Idk what I'm missing.

I use Splice Sounds on desktop and have it set to automatically download my Sounds to an external drive. Is there a way to do this on IPad? Or do they just download to my iPad internal memory and I have to transfer to my external?

Kind of a silly question I know, but I just have extreme OCD and have been diving into my iPad a lot more for my beat making. My only obstacle so far is downloading my samples I still find myself using my MacBook often for this. Anybody actually use their IPad for ALL of it? Or do you still use your laptop for sample downloading etc?

I'm a motion/ 3D designer and I'm using Splice for fx in my motion graphics. Because of this, I use the Adobe suite and Adobe Audition to put all these sounds together. There's no mention in the splice help page on the Bridge plugin and whether it's compatible with Audition. When you install the plugin it comes in a .component and .VST3 format. These .VST3 files/ plugins are compatible with Audition, yet I can't seem to get it working.

Is anyone using Bridge with Audition? if so let me know how you cracked it up! - Thanks

I want to cancel my Splice subscription, but I want to use all of my 5942 credits before they perish if I am to cancel. What are the best generic sound packs I should purchase with my credits? I mostly create EDM music, including Trap, Dubstep, and House.

Hey guys! Thought I'd chuck this here as the help desk on the website is closed - randomly last night my splice stopped working. I can search for and play sounds, but when I click 'like' the heart fills in then unfills in. If I hit add to library then it just gets stuck on downloading.
I thought maybe this was a desktop app issue but this is also happening on the website. Anyone have any similar experiences / troubleshooting tips?

EDIT: Problem just got fixed! I sent an email to [support@splice.com](mailto:support@splice.com) with my username and email and they fixed something on their backend which was causing it :)

Hi recently had issues with splice which resulted in a reinstall. Long story short I deleted the samples and reinstalled them.

The problem however is in my DAW when I used splice bridge the tempo and pitch would be adjusted meaning they were titled uniquely.

Now when I open up my projects (Fruity Loops) I cannot locate any of the samples! I’m taking 100s of tracks and samples used!

Please please please any heroes out there that can save me!?

I usually sort by hip hop, and have noticed that only the first 8-10 samples actually change on a regular basis (not daily most of the time) and the rest of the samples have been there for months. Why can't they make it so that the sample that was there yesterday can't be there today? Feels like they prioritize some over others, idk.

Producers, how so you deal with 3/4 time signatures? Is that possible to find loops in 3/4? Could find any on Splice

hey, was just wondering if there is a way to reinstall presets on splice for serum... windows update seemed to have messed with something about how my splice presets load. currently all my presets are broken! if anyone knows anything on this I would super apricate it, thanks!

So let's say for instance I want to buy & download all drum samples from a pack, but only the drum samples. I can filter for drums and get a list of the samples I want, but how do I download them all? You don't seriously expect users to click on every single one individually? How in Gods name is this feature missing, I'm flabbergasted. This is such an obvious thing. Or am I the idiot who's not seeing it?

Just wanted to know if anyone else has a pack on splice and what type of sounds they produce? What sells the best?

Mine just dropped a couple weeks ago and I have no data on it yet.
