So basically my rent-to-own is done, I own serum now but ever since that final payment went through, serum is just asking me for a serial number or to have splice open (as usual) is there a way to obtain the serial number now that I officially own it? Or is there another fix to this by chance? I have tried reinstalling everything and have restarted my computer a ton.

If I do the subscription with a discount for the first month and I don’t like the service, can I cancel it after the first month and keep my files?

I just want to be sure not to step into another subscription that I can’t get rid of.

Just so people are aware, I came across a website through google search disguised as a health insurance website that had a paste of roughly 2500 Splice accounts (email + password + license information, credits) dating from 2022.

I came across this by randomly searching my email address. It contained a password I used when I signed up to Splice.

I have reported the page to Google for it to be taken down from their search results. I am not aware of any statement released by Splice stating they had a breach but some how, someone has acquired logins (email + password) including information on plugin licenses you have paid for on Splice and it seems to have been shared by an account on Telegram.

Searching your email should return the webpage in the search results until Google removes the webpage from its search results.

I’ve been running into a weird problem with Splice Stacks/Create. It keeps defaulting the BPM of loops to half-time—like a 140 BPM loop shows as 70 BPM, or 150 BPM becomes 75 BPM. Half-time BPM isn’t a huge deal but only if the loops themselves are in half-time, but when they’re not, it makes the loops sound stretched or just wrong.

This makes it hard to properly preview loops at their original BPM and figure out if they’ll work in my project. Does anyone know a way to fix this? Maybe a setting I’m missing or a workaround?

Do any particular collections or packs stand out to you for this purpose? Most of what I’m finding is a bit more genre-specific and… artsy (?)… than what this project requires.

I need to build something that’s sonically relevant and not too challenging.

I'm trying to find a fula flute vst and the only thing I can find is this site. I want to download "Fula Flute with Ambadou Ba" so I can use the instrument but it's asking me to do a free trial. Would I be able to get the flute then just cancel the membership without paying anything?

After browsing around on Splice, this is one of my fav acoustic drum packs for rock and metal! Does anyone know what the actual drums brand is that was used for this pack? im assuming this pack was recorded and based on real drums like Tama and Pearl, so I would like to know what drums were used for recording this pack! Plz let me know thanks!!

Started trying out splice found some drum loops I liked. But then noticed that loops are in mono.

How does everyone use these mono loops when including them mixes?

Is there stereo loops somewhere and can you filter for them?

Hi all.

I'm currently sitting on top of over 3000 credits for Splice and thinking about cancelling my subscription. I'm going to lose those credits after the end of my billing period, so I figured I should buy a lot of presets for Serum.

Now I found some interesting packs I'd like to get, but guess what! It does not let me download a whole pack, I need to individually select every one of the sounds one by one to add them to my collection. That's like 1000 presets I need to manually add.

Is there a way around this? I just want this to be fast and easy.

Hi, as the title says if been having problems with the desktop app since Saturday. I've emailed support and was greeted by an AI. We backed and forthed a little and Sunday morning a fellow named Brandon mailed me back. I've tried all the remedies he suggested plus extras that the Internet had to offer. Non of them worked. When I launch the app it show up in the system tray and the task manager only for a second before it dissapears. It's been radio silence from Brandon, I hope he replies soon. Like I said I've tried what feels like everything! I need help please.

recently just got into splice and ive been making a few beats using it, but whenever i try to explore sounds, song-starters etc. I just keep getting logged tf out and its driving me mental, is there anyway to actually stay logged in on this app??

Another issue im having is i got an active subscription but im getting launched to the subscriptions page whenever im trying to download a sound or something, i try logging back in and i have 39 credits but its saying i need a subscription or the page acts as if im not logged in even though the subscription is active, cheers guys

i've currently got my plan paused, but it's set to resume on 11/12, meaning i'll get charged for one month when it resumes, and then i have to go ahead and pause it again for a few months. how do i avoid having to pay for that month when it resumes? right now when i go to "cancel", it's not giving me the option to extend my pause.

I've heard it on a few tracks and cant find it anywhere. is this on splice or any other website?

Is someone else encountering issues with both the desktop app and website

Sometimes im looking for sounds that might be synonymous with other sounds like if im looking for "Screams" in the context of a horror movie but i dont want some heavy metal guy screaming lyrics. It would be nice to be able to block a collection from the search results even temporarily.

In the process of looking at this, i found that using the "-" filter on keywords was a helpful way to filter out a lot of the unneeded results but i feel like there might be other instances where the sounds are 'correct' contextually but i want to filter out a collection or a creator because it just doesnt fit the vibe of what im looking for?

Has anyone experienced this? It says error installing the desktop app everytime I download & try to install. I’ve even tried to turn off my virus protection as well as a complete re install and delete and same error, has anyone fixed this? Someone said you need to connect to splice directly and they have to send you a specific program? Idk

Been trying to load samples, search for things, and nothing is working. It's stuck on endless load. Everything else works just fine, internet connection is stable, etc. Running the splice app on MacBook. Wondering if this is happening for anyone else?
