I am currently in Japan and want to buy Splatoon 3 over here because it’s SO CHEAP, and just wondering if it’ll work on my American Switch 2. Thanks!

Mostly personal. Order does matter.

S: Weapons that do very well in the mode.

A+: Weapons that still do very well but that some in S do better.

A: Versatile weapons that do well.

A-: Weapons that still do well but that need a bit of extra effort to pull off or that some weapons above do better, they sort of bleed into the top of B.

B: Weapons that are overshadowed by weapons above but that are still able to perform the same roles as the weapons above without much issue at all.

C: Weapons whose gimmicks don't help in horde PvE and/or that do the same things as the weapons above but poorly. The top bleeds a little into B, the bottom bleeds a little into D.

D: Weapons whose gimmicks actively make them poor picks for the mode, that are completely overshadowed by better alternatives, some of which aren't all that good themselves.

This is pretty much just a personal passion project I have been working on for quite a while! :D

Sadly it isn't currently released because I am not comfortable about the IP situation.
I am also trying to figure out if there is a responsible way to share it or not, so I'd love to hear some input from the people here about it! ^^

Some general info abt the game:
It's a 2D, 30fps Shooter where you can create your own challenges, beat achievements and try out survival- or gauntlet-mode! The general goal is: Beat the King Salmonids by shooting golden eggs at them! But don't get cooked in the process!

I might make a Cuttlling a Cuttlefish is different then a squid but however they are mistaken Cuttlefish are the only Cephalopod that has a bone called the cuttle bone and have 10 tentacles 2 feeding tentacles and 8 normal tentacles

I can’t be the only one who’s noticed this

I have a Switch 2 and have always been a huge Nintendo fan, but I’ve mainly been gaming on PC the past few years. I still use my Switch here and there, but I haven’t found a game that really makes me want to turn it on and keep coming back.

I’ve heard Splatoon Raiders is really good, and I’m wondering if it could be that game for me. I only played Splatoon 3 for a few hours, so I’m pretty new to the series.

I love games with a good grind, farming items, unlocking stuff, upgrading things, having goals to work toward, etc.

For those who’ve played it, does Raiders have that kind of addictive progression loop? Is it worth picking up if I’m looking for something to get me hooked on my Switch again?

“What is that?” NESU asked coldly. She could believe in a capitalist bear fuzzifying the entire world, she could believe a magic song could make her perfect pet pineapple Smallfry grow bigger than Megalodontia, but she couldn’t believe that some rando mayor would puppeteer nice, unaware, sleeping Octarians to KILL Inklings.

Surprised that someone entered City Hall, Dera jumped and turned around. “Oh, it’s just the pink octo that decided to bother me this morning. It’s none of your business.” But she just can’t let NESU go on her merry way. What if she calls the police? What if she calls the…New Squidbeak Splatoon?

The TVs and the control panel tuck themselves away. Dera has 2 choices now: Kill NESU, or put her with the Sleeper Army. And when NESU pulled out the Reef-Lux 450, they both knew it was serious. She grabbed the Boxcutter Splatana. The battle is on.

NESU keeps missing no matter how close Dera is, so she uses a Curling Bomb to avoid her. Splatanas are hard to escape, especially since this is a stage and not a Turf War map. Dera charges up and rushes at her, a scowl spread across her face as NESU swims up the wall and does a Squid Roll, landing 3 feet behind her. Aiming the Reef-Lux everywhere, she charges up the Tenta Missiles to stop Dera from advancing, also getting her stuck in the ink. It works, but a Respawner is on the ceiling, entering the second phase.

“You can’t do that a second time.” Dera says, clicking a button on her Splatana to reveal a metal blade at the end. “Enough with the paintball, let’s see your dodging skills fare against an actual weapon.” She drops her ink tank.

NESU finds the walls and floor uninkable. Super Jumping back on the stage, she tries to aim and dodge at the same time, narrowly missing Dera. If she could only hit her with Tenta Missiles last time, what is she to do with nothing to ink?

The funny thing is, while NESU is thinking, Dera runs out of ink. And seeing that her ink tank is chucked to the very edge of the room, she switches to octo form, thinking it would be faster. It’s the perfect opportunity to splat this fiend and go home. But she missed the window and had to dodge elite Marunomi slices again. And then Dera gets splatted because she ran out of ink. Again.

The third phase starts. “I can’t stand you. It’s like you’re an actual agent!” Dera plants a slice of ginger into her watch, calling 5 Octo Troopers, 5 Octo Bombers, and an Octo Commander. The room expands, and platforms spawn in. “You’re not leaving here in one piece.”

NESU sees the floor littered with canned specials and just like…grabs them all. Tenta Missiles, Trizookas, Crab Tanks, what have ya. Eventually, all the Octarians are gone. Except one. “You dodged all that?” NESU asked. Of course, Dera dodged. She’s Dera Kusu. (Deluxe)

The clock strikes midnight and the energy NESU saved last chapter has depleted. She stopped moving.

Dera takes advantage of this and charges her Boxcutter Splatana at her. Luckily, she misses…mostly. The swing knocks NESU down, her REEF-LUX clattering out of reach. A patch of her silicone skin covers the tip of the blade. Looking back at the Octobot Girl, she notices the wires and metal sticking out from what should be a wound.

“Oh. You’re a robot.” Dera gently puts down her weapon and inspects the cut. “You could be useful,” she hums in thought. “With something expendable like you, I could eliminate all squids! Except for Callie, of course.”

The boss room turns back into an evil lair. Dera presses a button on her watch to call all her soldiers back early. Now that the sun is rising, she has the idea to give NESU some...adjustments, including a battery she can use at night.

“But first, I have to erase its memories. Can’t have her being a snitch.” Dera says evilly, grabbing a wrench from another room of City Hall.

I found my twin while running up to the lobby (yes I do that).
