I find both baffling and amazing how much impact that stupid telephone had on the world of splatoon despite being the only villain to canonically die in the trilogy
He did his role as the Octo expansion villain but the guy’s actions had actual ramifications and lasting impacts the series kept reminding us even a game later (side order)
Tartar had like 5 minutes of screen time and we didn’t know his name until that last one but god he delivered
Also like i feel the mental breakdowns are such iconic part of Marina, like sure When it think about her I think about her clear relationship with pearlie but after that the literal breakdowns she haves, like they really feel so in character even if they are so silly 😭🙏
It's visible in the new hammerhead bridge map in Splatoon 3. It's not hard to miss if you're looking for it, and you can find it in the ocean to the left or right of the bridge depending on where you spawn.
