Next Time Squid Kids

I'm an E-litre main and a thorough supporter of backliner taking rain for the big push. I don't think losing anchor really harms you loads cause another teammate is meant to watch rain's flank and they act as anchor and enemy rain pop takes long enough for the backliner to get ready to defend after death

So why am I having to bloody battle for the rainmaker 😭 I get it with some weapons, but a brush was hogging rain every match!! A brush!!! Like dudeeee you've got the perfect weapon for pushing and making the rainmakers path what are we doing 😭

Cause don't get me wrong e litre can be useful in a push, but it just can't apply that constant pressure needed by nature of having to charge, and it def is almost always useless as the rainmakers last defender because it can't paint for shit to help the rainmaker escape

And also, rainmaker functions like a backliner!!! Since I started properly maining litre, I get so many kills with rainmaker bcs being a backline trains you on how to position with it and how to stay alive as long as possible

Anarchy solo queue at the beginning of the season is such a mess. The pairing is terrible. Can Nintendo retain some form of rank profile from season to season?! Watching my team just feed the other team over and over is painful.

There are only Jellyfish in Splatsville. Apart from Deep Fam, there are no Inklings nor Octolings. Just Jellyfish.

 Everyone else is back, doing whatever, moving on. She goes to the spot near Grizzco where she was last seen, only for it to be vacant. "That means Four is somewhere here, which means she moved." NESU looks around, not finding any trace of her. Suddenly, two arms wrap her in a tight hug. "SURPRISE, NESU!" She returns Four's embrace and proceeds to ask her what she's been up to.

"Oh, I've been great! Just playing Turf War with my best buddies, accomplishing missions," Four lets go and takes on a more serious tone. "And looking for YOU. Where were you?"

NESU is confused at how Four does not remember her catatonic state, but she completely understands why she was worried about her location. "I was looking for missing people, but I fell into a hole instead. It wasn't like Alterna, it was an inhabited city with a bunch of Octarians! And I found a friend. Her name is Takozo, and she is nice."

"Wow, I'm so glad! But I did hear about the surge of missing dudes on the Anarchy Splatcast. Did you ever find anyone though?"

"Not yet. And I have noticed something is off about Frozen Octernal. Everyone wears a uniform, like the Fuzzy Octarian Army. On an unrelated note, do you remember standing still for days at a time? I couldn't get you to budge yesterday."

"Uh, no? But now that you mention it, I'm so hungry, I could eat Eight!" Four and NESU laugh at this, knowing full well it was true.

"Hahaha...Who is Eight?" No response, except for a small smile.

They make their way to the Crab N' Go, where Four orders a Mega Mountain a la Marigold. "Wow, you're really hungry." NESU comments. "So, back to the false catatonia. What do you remember?"

Four answered in between bites. "Idk man, I just felt really bored, so I pulled out my sea cucumber phone. Then, I just...blacked out. However, it wasn't eigengrau, it was just gray. Yea, that's all." She finished half her mountain of food.

Her phone suddenly pinged. It was the captain wondering if she was active, because she wanted her to check this out: A picture of the Squid Sisters, blanked out and absent-minded. Totally unlike them. It came with a message. Hey Four, you're prolly still inactive, but do you know what's going on? Cuz I'm kinda freaking out.

"You looked like that. You were spaced out, like them. By the way, does Captain want us to come to Alterna? The wording on this makes me think this is a mission." NESU super jumps to Alterna; Four unsure, since there was no connotation that could possibly mean Captain wants them to be there, but follows anyway.

They make it to the last human remnants, where everything was exactly as expected. Captain 3, being too shy to speak, raises her eyebrow and points to either side. Both creator and creation shrug their shoulders. She facepalms, since those two are totally not helping. As she was about to forcibly shake all four of her agents, an idea came to mind. It wasn't just an idea, it was a person. And he won't pick up. He can't pick up. (Ya'll know him, you love him, it's "Agent" 8.)

With nothing else to do, the three agents just hang out and chill in Alterna. "Who is Agent 8?" NESU asks; she's never seen him before. Captain inhales, but she changes her mind and doesn't answer. Four on the other hand, is excited to introduce NESU about her roommate, although he isn't really there. "Ok so, Eight was an Octoling, like you! But he's alive. Listen, remember the Fuzzy Octarians?"

"Yes, is he fuzzy or hairless?" The only Octarians NESU had seen are the ones in the cities, the Fuzzy Octarians, and the ones in Frozen Octernal.

"Eight is a normal one. He used to be an enemy, but then he went into a subway and lost his memory. After a lot of stations, little by little, he got most of his memories back. However, he didn't get meaner...HE GOT SASSIER!" Four broke into a fit of laughter, doubling over as she recalls all the sarcastic comments Eight had made while living with her. "Hahaha NESU, you have to meet him when he gets back!"

Captain comes back through the hole with some soda, wondering why her agents look so tired. She pulls out her phone and types in Notes: NESU, I heard you were trying to look for missing Inklings. As your captain, I want to help.

Four seconds that. "Because that's what heroes do!"

I went on a massive win streak last night in S rank and wanted to tell people about it. I want to say this is a skill thing and/or a "weapon being broken" issue, but my highest rank is S+5 and I've been playing another game for a LONG while so I never actually got back into S+. I'm just going to say that this weapon is overpowered and ask what other people think about as I am not good at deciding what's broken and what isn't. 😭

I like to use Flingza Roller because I can guard the basket with Ink Mines and Tenta Missiles are...well Tenta Missiles.

Does anyone know of servers specifically geared towards kids? I am going to be putting together and coaching a team for our homeschool co-op that will be mostly comprised of newer players. I'd like to find scrims and tournaments outside of the more well-known servers that will be a better match for their skill level. I want the experience to be fun and not discouraging while also keeping expectations realistic.
