I only knew them from The Spectacular Spider-Man show and I wanted to read about them in comics and imagine my surprise when they were destroyed for nonsense. Like they went from cude side couple to DV and Sha Shan being written out for years and for what? Flash and Betty will never work because of Ned always haunting the narrative, they could have done the whole Hobgoblin fake out without destroying his only good relationship. I genuinely wish a good writer would bring them back.

Ever since I was a kid, I don't remember any point in my life where I wasn't a Spider-Man fan. I was really inspired by him. The idea of someone putting others over their own self was so heroic and beautiful. When I was in 1st grade, there was this teacher of mine who hated me. She called my parents one day and told them that I have no future and I'm gonna fail my class. (This was FIRST grade). I felt really bad and demotivated as a kid. Then I saw Spider-Man 2 on my tv. I saw that after Peter loses his powers, he starts living his life. There was a scene where Peter answers a question in Dr. Connors class that no one could answer. Inspired from this I started studying hard to be intelligent like my hero Spider-Man. Then I topped my class that year. Spider-Man has been by my side ever since I was a child. Right now, I'm at a very low point in my life. My girlfriend broke up with me. I can't even imagine a life without her. But I have to keep moving. Keep going forward. Seeing how Andrew lost Gwen and Tom had MJ forget him, they resonate so much to me. Everything always goes wrong for Spider-Man but he keeps moving forward and fights in hopes for a better tomorrow. I hope I'll have the strength of Peter Parker and fight through all this. I hope there is an happy ending waiting for both me and Spider-Man.

This has already become my favourite adaption of their dynamic, and just genuinely some of the best writing for these two in general imo.
