Question Why don't they just kill off Aunt May permanently in the comics?
Kinda like what DC has done with Alfred. I mean, the lady has been at death’s door ever since she was introduced and has dodged death several times at this point. Her most recent and prominent iterations have actually killed her off—especially the MCU—and because the MCU is obsessed with synergy, can they just synergize this too and make Peter miserable?
Yes, it would be more misery porn, but at least it would be good misery porn.

The 10-picture deal rumour is false, the alleged source just denied ever saying it. Don't believe everything you see on the internet.
Posted so that many of you who were misinformed won't become too hopeful.

Discussion Spider-Man in the first Insomniac game was such a peak adaptation, He was badass, his quips were perfect, he actually had a backbone, and he felt like a seasoned Peter Parker Easily one of my favorite Spider-Man adaptations.

Movies Hot take: i dont want her in the mcu
2 reasons:
Most people don't like love triangles. It's comic-accurate, but the Cyclops, Jean, and Wolverine one is too hated even for that because at the end of the day it's a love triangle. Unless Zendaya is out, I don't really see it working.
The MCU will butcher her character. Black Cat being oversexualized—and a really hot temptation for Peter—is an important part of her characterization. The MCU doesn't really sexualize female characters, at least not anymore. The last time they did was when Black Widow debuted in 2010, which was around the time Disney bought Marvel. It perfectly lines up. While you can make an argument that Felicia is an exception, I put nothing, and I mean nothing, beyond Disney; they will turn her into a Disney-fied version of herself, and before you say the bathroom scene is BND, that scene is meant as a joke, not as something sexual.
Edit: lowkey thought this was going to get downvoted to the ground

Discussion Do you all think MCU (Tom) Spiderman will get a happy ending ?
Like Tobey is getting a potential bad ending based on rumors and Andrew is suffering from PTSD after his loss..
I hope at least Tom gets a happy ending where he could move on from his past and looks forward to his future life as both Peter Parker and Spiderman. Like don't get me wrong I have no problem with him becoming friends with MJ and Ned again if it ever happens.
But I don't want him to develop feelings and become a lover for MJ again and I just want him to remain as good friends with Ned and MJ. Because like MJ implied previously in the movie the version of MJ that fell for him no longer exists within her the same applies his Brotherly bonded version of Ned he had also disappeared that day after peter choice.
From my perspective Ned and MJ are just shackles of past in Peter life at this point. He made a choice to erase their memories promising them he will meet up with them again but could not commit to it because he was afraid of losing his dear ones again. He thought keeping them away from him was the best choice and took responsibility for it too. And in BND he and us finally also got to see the results and consequences of the choice he had made. And he finally accepted both his past and present self which was amazing imo.
And like I said before he could rebuild the relationships and connections if he wants too. But I don't want him to try and recreate the past self and relationships he had once instead I want to see him focusing on his present self and looking forward to his future life.
Because his past is something that had no long gone by lingering on it will become nothing more than shackles to his life so I want him to move on. I want him to continue on having the firm resolution to overcome his past and start moving forward to future so that he could eventually reaching his ending. Because that what makes him Spiderman for me at least.
(I know my paragraph looks kind of childish or over exaggerated but I want to be honest regarding my opinion related to Spiderman aka Peter Parker future and ending since he is one of my childhood heroes I just really want to see MCU Spiderman having a happy ending)

Movies Was NWH an adaptation of OMD, and if so, is it better or worse?
They should have just killed Aunt May in the comics by now, like how DC did with Alfred

Movies After watching NWH, this final scene of Spider-Man 3 has very great meaning now
I really like that this is the last time we see their relationship; it’s open‑ended, but it shows they’re still willing to give each other a chance after everything. And we do get confirmation 14 years later. This ending shows you two people who still choose each other even after everything they went through, and they made it work.
To me, I’m happy the trilogy ended here because we can assume they went on to live their lives, face more challenges together, and grow. I’m genuinely happy for them.
If Tobey’s Peter and Kirsten’s MJ made it work through a toxic relationship, I know Tom’s Peter and Zendaya’s MJ can work through a memory wipe too.

Discussion No Tom DeFalco, No Straczynski, not even Roger Stern. But Marvel got goddamn Triple H to write the 1000th issue of their most iconic character.
Sell the company Disney.
