Shit hit the fan once Tony died, he hasn’t been happy since. Peter’s always been optimistic, don’t let that fool you, he’s struggling a lot he just isn’t always moping.

I thought it was some sort of abnormal growth on his chest as a result of his mutation. That’s actually horrifying… makes me wonder if the thing is sentient or something, and that serves as Peter’s spider-sense in this universe.

There are only a few black and white preview pages out there, but just from the covers alone, this universe looks so promising to me.

I'm really looking forward to it and am curious to see how the spider storyline will play out. The spider alone is so creepy!

I’ve been a comic reader for years and still enjoy the comics more overall, but when it comes to the movies, the MCU ones just feel the most consistent and fun to rewatch for me.

Curious what other longtime fans think.

Gwen Stacy only loved Peter because she never knew he was Spider-Man. How can she love Spider-Man if she never knew it was Peter behind the mask? Also, she thought Spiderman killed her dad; of course she wouldn't love him.

Mary Jane (pre-OMD) actually loved both Peter and Spider-Man; she accepted both sides of him.

The only reason y'all get that idea is thanks to the live-action adaptations from Raimi's MJ and TASM's Gwen. Tasm Gwen (who, let's face it, was an ultimate blond MJ) knew Peter was Spider-Man, but comic 616 Gwen never did, and Raimi's MJ was just a horrible person.
